Location was fabulous. Sound of the creek while sitting in the back porch was totally zen!

Wonderful property with a spacious covered balcony overlooking Spring Creek. The cabin had everything you need to relax in the mountains.

We had lady bugs inside

Location was great with access to restaurants and shopping. The creek was charming. However this place needs a thorough cleaning. Ants, dirt, dust and feces on the tp holder is a start. Missed a freezer and if only the porch fan had worked...

Needs hair dryer and better drinkware (ie wine and water glasses)

Charming accommodation right on Spring Creek within walking distance to everything. Perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation. Going to sleep with the sounds of the creek was magical. This will be our spot to go to in Hot Springs from now on.

We loved our stay. Sitting on the big back porch seeing & hearing creek flowing was an added bonus. Walking distance to great restaurants & a few shops. The room was very clean & fully stocked with basic needs.

Great stay!

Refrigerator is not working at all, odor from the septic when using kitchen sink. Everything else was wonderful and enjoyed the visit. Great location!

The property location can't be beat and the back porch alone is worth the stay. It's walking distance to everything.
The Boathouse was very nice but the fridge and toilet plumbing could use an upgrade. The fridge doesn't keep anything cold so bring a cooler and get some ice. Also, the toilet barely flushed so we had to go off property to use the bathroom if you know what I mean.
I tried messaging the number that was left for us to contact but did not receive a response.
We would stay here again but I hope they make some simple necessary upgrades.

I visit Hot Springs several times a year to get away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy nature at its finest, and take a break from the real world! I've stayed at a few different places and this is my favorite! It is so nice to be able to walk to the restaurants and shops. It is an adorable space and extremely clean! My favorite part is the beautiful deck overlooking Spring Creek. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing place with others! I will be back!

Comfortable one room suite. Located right in the center of Hot Springs. Very clean and functional. The only issues we had were the refrigerator did not work and the toilet needs work. Highly recommend this rental.

The Boathouse is super cute! It was clean and well-stocked with necessities. The proximity to town and restaurants is a huge added bonus. The deck overlooking Spring Creek is quiet and soothing.

The Boathouse is super cute with a great location to town. It overlooks a beautiful creek making a comforting and relaxing environment. It was clean and inviting. We will definitely stay here again.

The Boathouse is in a lovely location. The rushing waters out back are very calming at all times. Both decks were enjoyable to hang out on. Inside the Boathouse is in need of a really good cleaning. Cobwebs in corners and large ants crawling on the walls and ceilings was a bit unnerving. Internet is horrible. We literally had to walk from place to place to have service. I would stay again, but only after verifying its cleanliness.

Very close to the Main Street where the shops restaurants, welcome center, and Appalachian Trail are located. Back deck is right on Spring Creek, where you can sit and listen to the water. We hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail which goes right down Bridge Street. The interior of The Boat House was clean and well maintained. Only issue was the AC unit. Difficult to set to cool down the place. We contacted Wesley and he came out the next day to correct the situation. First night there was very hot! However, we loved the place and would go back.

Creek side retreat
We really enjoyed our stay. The back porch sittin’ and listening to the creek babbling was one of our favorite things about our visit to Hot Springs. Great location to walk to everything in town without hearing the traffic. Would recommend.

Nice place/unfriendly host
Let me first say that this is the FIRST bad review I have ever left anywhere we have stayed with VRBO. The place was clean and nice with beautiful creek in backyard......After reading all amenities carefully and looking at pictures online we purchased food for us to cook breakfast both mornings we were there. We also did not purchase toilet paper as “all toiletries” were included according to amenities list. That being said, when we arrived we found less than 1/2 roll on the toilet paper holder, we searched for more and could not find any, but decided it was not a big deal, they probably just forgot, so we got some more to last us the trip. Amenities also stated that that all cooking basics and toaster was included. We purchased food to cook breakfast the two mornings we were there. When we woke up the first morning at 8:30 to cook breakfast we found there was not a single pot, pan or skillet in the house and there not a toaster. So we drove to store and bought a skillet and came back to learn that the hot plate will only work with a special type skillet that is specifically designed to work with it. At this point it was almost 11:00 and we still had not been able to eat so I called the host and explained we had nothing to cook our food with, to which she replied in a rude tone “I don’t know what to tell you to do”!!! I explained the situation again thinking she would offer help and she said once again “ I don’t know what to tell you to do”!! I ask her what we were supposed to eat and what were we supposed to do with all this food we purchased because she obviously was not wanting to help. I also mentioned that we had even went and bought a skillet that morning to try and avoid calling her. She said “can you not go outside and cook it on the charcoal grill”!!!!! I was amazed at this comment and said NO! After a long pause and realizing I was not going to hang up until the issue was resolved, she said she would bring an electric skillet. About 3 minutes later she pulled up in front of the house and blew her horn!!! I did not come to her beckoning of the horn and so she got out of car and met me on the porch to give me the electric skillet. She never one time on the phone or in person apologized for the inconvenience and rather seemed to have the attitude that we were inconvenienceing her to ask for what was stated in the amenities list. I am not the type to complain but I have never had such a rude host!!!

Great Location!
Studio apartment located in neighborhood along Spring Creek with awesome view from deck. Peaceful place to sit, relax, and breath fresh mountain air! Loved walking downtown to the shops and restaurants. Conveniently located along Appalachian Trail and within driving distance to other outdoor activities! Don't plan on cooking unless it can be prepared in microwave.
A little annoyed our last morning out on the peaceful deck was interrupted by owner when he drove up on his loud lawn mower at 930am when we didn't have to check out until 11am. But hey, it wouldn't keep us from renting the Boat House again. Overall, our stay was awesome!
