About this apartment rental
Vintage delight with the modern amenities you need for a comfy stay. Large kitchen to prep your own meals. Coin-op laundry available in building. Loads of natural light, and great location! Walk to the hospital, Capitol and other State buildings. So close to downtown and the great shops and restaurants there.
This is an upper level apartment with 5 other apartments in the building. There is one next door and one 2 apartments below. There is a nice little patio on the front of the house that is shared with the other guests in the building. Feel free to head out there (in the summer;) with your morning coffee. There isn't Central A/C (although almost any place in Wyoming can be kept comfortable by opening up the window at night, and shutting everything in the morning.
A swamp cooler and portable AC is available seasonally, typically between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The building is close to 100 years old, so typical floor squeaks and "old" building noises may occur. The original claw foot tub/shower is a sweet reminder that this place has been around a long time! Nevertheless, updates have been made where needed to make sure you have a comfortable, modern stay.
The entire apartment is set up for guests. The laundry room is shared with the other guests in the building and is also where we keep all of our supplies. That little patio on the from of the house is available for all guests to enjoy.
We are available by text or phone between 7am and 10pm. If you have an urgent need, don’t hesitate to reach out anytime!
You can see the hospital from the front window! This place is centrally located within 10-15 minutes of ANYWHERE in Cheyenne!
Free parking on-site & free street parking. Uber & Lyft available
I welcome pets! However, I do charge a $10 per night per pet fee for a maximum of $50 per stay via the Air BnB app the morning of your arrival.
Long term guests staying more than 2 weeks will need to arrange an additional refundable cleaning deposit or schedule regular cleanings during stay (for an additional cleaning fee)
The following is a list of what you can expect to find in the unit.

25 steps up to the property on 2nd floor. No central heat or extra blankets. Extension cords everywhere, blew out fuses running space heaters. Trundle couch very uncomfortsble. Only 2 small tv in living room so people using bedroom infringe on living room bed/couch to watch tv making a hardship for person using the couch. This is a spot for two people max. It was very uncomfortable with three. The kitchen was great and was well equipped. The host was responsive to bringing extra blankets and getting the power turned back on. The location was excellent. Having only alley access was a pain,

I always stay here if I am in Cheyenne. It is nice and comfortable and quirky with all the old wood work and an older building at the same time. I really like staying here.

Cozy place to stay. For what we needed it was centrally located. Washer and dryer are available but located in separate location onsite and coins are needed. Overall great experience and nice.

We were in Cheyenne for a convention and thus spent very little time at the property. But it served us well.

Location was easy access along with travel distance was short to various locations. With a home feeling to the place would definitely recommend again.

Our daughter choose the place for us, because she had stayed in an upstairs unit & was pleased with it. To our surprise we were upgraded, the place was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. We met the owner, a gracious man who took care of a couple of needs. I would stay there again because the owner was attentive & an honest man🌷

As advertised, with nice treats (coffee, popcorn, chips and instant oatmeal).
Upstairs entry was full of moths (assuming due to no activity for a while). A little annoying as they made their way into the apartment/shower.

Cute historic property near downtown
We chose this BnB based on its proximity to downtown Cheyenne and Cheyenne Frontier Days. Upstairs apartment with unique features (light fixtures, built in cabinets, claw foot bathtub) Clean & safe property. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Cheyenne.
