This beautiful & roomy home with a private pool for the entire family or ball team! Sleeps up to 22! Family Daze is nestled near Bon Secour River in a small community, away from the heavy hustle and bustle of the beach, but only 7.5 miles to the nearest Beach Access Point. Head outside to the vast backyard for grilling and eating outside on the picnic tables. Take a dip in the screen covered, sparkling, saltwater pool, play in the sand, and have an exciting family game of Beach Volleyball in the sanded court! The pool can be *heated in the cooler months (recommended October 1st through May 1st) upon request with an added fee of $50 per night. If you can tear the family away from the fun in the home, there are many things to do nearby such as the awesome OWA Theme Park with a brand new Indoor water park, great Sports complex, a Live Theater, a huge Shopping District, plus many miniature golf facilities, Glen Lakes Golf Course, The Gulf Bowl Bowling Alley, Tanger Outlet Mall, Gulf Shores Sports Complex, and Gulf Shores Place Beach is only 10 minutes away!
This home is ready to accommodate your large family or ball team with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. The Primary Suite yields a lush King size bed with an attached Bath including a garden tub and separate shower! The Secondary Suite Bed presents another King size bed with a private full bathroom. There are 2 more bedrooms on the main floor, both containing a Queen size bed and a shared full bathroom nearby. Upstairs is yet another bedroom with two full over full bunk beds providing enough sleeping for all the kiddos with a private, attached, full bathroom. Still need more beds? The roomy Living Area and Sunroom contain 3 sleeper sofas! The large, fully stocked kitchen has all updated, stainless-steel appliances. There is even an extra refrigerator in the garage for more cold storage.
If you still need more rooms and beds, rent the house next door as well, "Fun Daze" (formerly known as Sands of Time), which is almost an exact copy of this home.

We were extremely satisfied with the stay. It was a very special vacation for our entire family. We celebrated birthdays and this was a trip in memory of my husband who passed away a year and half ago. He had promised our granddaughters a trip back to the beach but passed before he could complete his promise. So this was in memory of him.

House is located in a quieter and minimal traffic road. Took 10-15 mins to get to the ocean and Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach area. House was good for our size of group (23 people).

The listing was very accurate. We had 22 people, 13 of those children and we had plenty of room. The backyard was a nice surprise as it was completely fenced in and had a large play area. The mgmt company was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had.

Great house for large groups. There were a few disappointments we encountered. Sofa sleepers were not very comfortable, you could see the springs and you can also feel them. Home doesn’t look like it’s maintained very good. The garage door didn’t work and no sign was visible to warn us. Pool looked cleaned but after being in the pool, it turned the kids swimsuit and their skin green. Needs to be checked before renting. Trash bins were not picked up prior to our arrival so trash bins were overflowing. Forth bathroom upstairs was only a bathtub and no shower so hard when you have larger crowds who olnly shower. Positive reviews: big area for groups, great location.

Overall the property was in excellent condition.
We had a slight problem with the pool.
Nothing wrong with the pool but my blonde daughters hair turned green and with us going to have family pictures that was a problem.
We found the remedy for that. I don't know if anyone else has had that problem.
The door on the pool enclosure was stuck because of a missing bolt artached to the enclosure. When we tried to open the door we knocked the screen loose which we fixed before we left.
The ac for the bedroom next to the stairs didn't keep the room as cool as the rest of the house.
The wives have made a small request to stock a can opener in with the utensils provided.
It's really hard to open a can with a screwdriver and wrench.
Even with all this I would recommend this rental.

Our 2nd year back at same vacation house in Foley. Obviously we enjoyed the 1st stay last year and we enjoyed again this summer. Great location ---near beaches, shopping. attractions, eateries.Spacious clean home and back yard with pool to comfortably accommodate 14 of us--men, women, and children.Biggest problem: WIFI!!! And could not get many TV stations. Would return.

This was our first family vacation that included grand kids and everybody. The majority of us drove all the way from Kansas, so we were expecting a wow experience and it fell short. First, when we got there the cleaning lady was still there and we weren't able to take possession until almost 6 and we were never notified that it would be late (we got there at 4.) At one time one of my daughters was told that one of the bathrooms had only the toilet sanitized. All week the floor in the main room made our feet black and was a concern because we had an 8 month old crawling. In the bedroom my wife and I stayed in the breaker was tripped as we had no power to the plug ins when I plugged in my cpap. The wifi was less than adequate as it could not support the number of people staying in the house as it kept dropping. In the kitchen, a few times when trying to use plug in appliances it would trip the breaker. Outside there was a red ant hill and one of the grand kids got bites from them trying to play in the sand so that area ended being avoided for the week. After a good rain the drain around the tables and chairs outside acted plugged and it flooded ankle deep and took a couple hours to drain. The pool was not heated. We were told the owner had chosen not to fix the garage door after it was damaged in the last hurricane when we tried to open it to back in and unload. The jacuzzi tub doesn't work because they can't get parts. Finally, the front yard isn't eye appealing at all. The fountain doesn't work and has green stagnant water and what looks like once a pond is dried up. If I'm paying what I'm paying for a house a reason and driving from Kansas for a week long vacation, I'm expecting better.

The house was prefect for my family size and so much room for more. Even though the kids enjoyed the upstairs bunk beds they slept on the sofa beds in the living room. During our stay there were some storms that altered our plans, but since the pool was heated our kids swam in the rain. We had a blast!! If ever back in the area, I will most definitely book this home again. No complaints here

Home was unsecured when we arrived. Multiple windows open, not cracked but open. We arrived just after dark about 5pm. My husband searched and secured the home. It was pitch black dark. I tripped and almost fell walking up to the porch. There were no courtesy lights on knowing that guest would be arriving. Furniture needs to be updated, especially the king size beds. They are worn and uncomfortable, not sturdy for sleeping. Glass dinette table unable to used dangerously wobbly. Wooden dinette table scratched up. Master bath with jacuzzi tub button to turn on jets inoperable or broken. Tissue holder in same bath broken. Furniture noticeably filthy. I took pictures. Curtains in sun room, have visible food or substance splashed or spilled on the. Damage to floor in doorway of master bedroom near garage. Dead termites in window seal in master bedroom 2. Driveway light inoperable. Master bathroom 2 faucet was partially running when we arrived and wouldnt shut off. I Love the size of property, and the pool. I wouldn't book this unit for a vacation because you will clearly be exhausted and frustrated when you leave. You can tell that some of the previous tenants only rented the unit for a party sport, are were just destructive or had destructive kids. Someone has been destroying this other wise beautiful beautiful spacious property.

A lot of issues with the house and the pictures are not what we received. Many broken things, very dirty pool area, just overall not very happy with this one.

We stayed here with our large extended family of 12. We weren’t compeltely displeased, but we also did feel things could have been nicer when it came to the condition. Various small things were broken or missing. Nothing major but things a handyman could have spent one day fixing up. We did let the host know during our stay and she was responsive and willing to make things right while we were there if we wanted, which we appreciated. Overall we hope they take the time to improve some of these things but we still enjoyed our stay and would be fine staying there again!

Tired house and grounds
The concept was perfect for the various ages in our family get together, pool, volleyball, plenty of bedrooms and space, but overall things were in need of closing for a few weeks and fixing several things(shower doors, dryer, weeds in patio, unsightly mold, etc). We enjoyed the location and the kitchen was fine, it would have been nice to have an ice maker and more attention to appliances. The patio flooded after a small rain and everything outside needs a good ‘redo’. Probably wouldn’t spend what we did on this property for a week again. Comparing how it looks now to the advertised pictures shows no comparison.

Nice and roomy property. The kids LOVED the pool! It was a great space for a large family reunion. The dryer made a horrendous screeching noise, which was problematic for all the drying we needed to do. Some of the bedrooms were quite a bit warmer than the house itself. But overall it was a great place for our reunion!

When we arrived, umbrella to table was broken and thrown to the side, sand box toys broken thrown in a corner and most broken and with ants. Also, chair broken. Management did replace umbrella and brought all new chairs to the location the next morning. But, broken chair amd broken umbrella for table was left on property. The backyard could have been better maintained, grass grown up in concrete in pool, volleyball and patio area. House over all was very nice and comfortable, easy check in and out.
