We invite you to come and stay in this custom built, oceanfront home and at one of the best surf spots in the world! Sit and watch the surfers or participate in catching world class waves. Watch the sunset right from the back patio or your bedroom and feel the warmth of the sun and the ocean breezes. Play a game of pool. Take a morning or afternoon walk on our almost deserted beach and get in touch with nature. Let your senses unlock and escape your hectic life. Experience Costa Rica and you will not want to leave.
The house is all natural with stone, slate, and granite throughout. Stained glass windows and Costa Rican art are seen throughout the house. The furniture was custom built for the home by local artisans. All new window and doors were installed in 2015.
There is nothing quite like opening your glass sliding doors and walking right onto the beach. This unique house is unlike any house you've ever seen.

There two bedrooms with en suite baths on the first floor facing the mountainside. There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor 3 are facing the mountainside, one with en suite bath.
The upstairs master bedroom and a large second master bunkroom are oceanfronts on the second floor. Wake up and look out of the window and see the ocean. Instant surf report!
The 30-meter long community pool is beach side and only 3 houses down from our house. Enjoy a fish taco and a drink at Yoyo's pool bar. You will want to spend your day there!
We are happy to set you up on activities such as zip line, ATV's, horseback riding, fishing, white water rafting, hiking, surf lessons and so much more.
We will get you oriented with a list of restaurants, grocery stores, transportation or whatever you may need.

We are family of 10 And we had more than enough space for truly remarkable vacation. I especially enjoyed walking out the backyard and the Pacific Ocean was at my feet. The weather was perfect and the beaches were breathtaking.
There is so much to do at playa Hermosa.. Roberto guided us through so many fun adventures and activities. I would highly recommend this property.

We came with a group of 10 and had an awesome weekend Roberto and Tim were super easy to communicate with and provided all the recs we needed. They helped setup chefs, drivers and even food delivery. The pool bar was great and felt private as well as the beach. Highly recommend!

The house worked great for our family reunion of 12. Plenty of rooms for us to spread out in. The property manager, Roberto was great to communicate with and gave recommendations including an excellent chef to come to the house for a special Anniversary dinner for my husband and I to enjoy with our family and also for a few in our group to take a horseback ride with the horses brought right to the community gates! Maria was just amazing taking care of the house, even doing laundry everyday such a plus and very appreciated!! The kitchen could use update of cooking supplies and having enough tableware for a large group, but other than that really great house and would recommend for large group staying in the area!

This was our 1st time in Costa Rica, a group of 15 men/woman ages 24- 35, and it couldn’t have been a better vacation. From start to finish, I cannot express enough how amazing this house was, the pictures do not do it justice. Everyone had their own bed/space, the bottom floor had enough room for everyone to hang out as well. Roberto was incredibly helpful throughout the process. He provided us with transportation with Eddy Transport, who showed up on time every time we needed him. We had Chef Denis, and Mel come to the house a couple of nights for dinner, and the food was amazing. I'd recommend going with the surf/turf or the pineapple chicken! We were celebrating a 30th bday and he went out of his way to get us a birthday cake and candles. Maria who came every morning and cleaned the house was super friendly and extremely helpful. Roberto scheduled different tours for us so we didn’t have to worry about anything. The ocean right out your backdoor was something out of a movie. Almost every night we watched the sunset and surfer surf right in front of us. Some of the girls had massages on the 2nd balcony while listening to the ocean in the background. About 25 steps away from the house, we had the pool which was very big and spent some hours in the pool. There is a bar at the pool where we were able to get drinks as well, the restaurant at the pool was closed due to renovation but we still enjoyed the pool area. If you are looking to stay here, I would highly recommend this.

We had a great stay to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. We stayed for 9 nights and had a total of 13 people, but not all of them were there at the same time. House is definitely big enough for a lot of people.
Roberto was very accommodating with my baby requests, and was always very easy to get ahold of while we were there. Maria (housekeeper) is very sweet and was there almost every day.
Community and pool was awesome. Felt very safe. The beach bar has great food and service.
The ocean by the house is no joke, so if you’re not a very experienced surfer you’ll probably not be able to get in.
We were a little surprised the kitchen did not have anything, besides a small salt shaker. So we literally had to buy everything, then throw out everything we hadn’t consumed. Also, there is no dishwasher. I know…first world problems haha! It wasn’t a big deal, as we had services from Chef Pablo for a few meals, and we bought disposable plates/cups.
My kids enjoyed hanging out with the cats who were always by house, and the other wildlife. We saw frogs, iguanas, squirrels, a bat, and lots od bugs.

Tim, Roberto and Maria were very available and helpful. The home was comfortable for all sixteen of us. We had a great time at a great place! The property has access to a nice pool with a very good restaurant. The surfers were exciting to watch right from our patio. It was a fabulous experience.

This property is awesome! The owner, Tim, is great to deal with and the property manager, Roberto, is so attentive and friendly and will move mountains to get what you need. Roberto’s recommendations for activities and travel arrangements were perfect and much appreciated, the one time we arranged our own activity we winded up with not such a great experience (lesson learned!). We arranged for groceries to be delivered prior to arrival using Roberto’s suggestion (JacoFresh.com) and it was the best decision ever. When we arrived, not only were the groceries there, they were already put away for us! The house also comes with a housekeeper who kept the place very clean, and did our laundry every day, which was a great bonus.
The community is gated and very secure, there is security walking along the beach 24 hours a day. There is a community pool (3 houses away from this house) which has a pool bar owned and operated by Yoyo, who makes the experience that much more wonderful (just make sure you order your drinks clearly, we ordered a drink and told them the house number we were in (#3) and winded up getting 3 of the same drink…not that we had any issue drinking all of them!). The food at Yoyo’s was very good and is a great place to eat lunch.
We hired a chef for most of our breakfasts and dinners from thecostaricachef.com, another wonderful choice we made. The owner, Chef Pablo, was easy to communicate with and arranged all the times and meals with us prior to arrival, then assigned us Chef Jose for the duration of our trip….his cooking was so good the kids were eating things they would never eat at home, without any complaints. They loved his food, as did the adults, and we didn’t have to worry about getting ready to go out, which allowed us to relax at night. We ordered pizza one night from another suggested place by Roberto, which was very good.
For those with little children, keep in mind that this is the Pacific side and has much larger waves and stronger rip tides. We could only go in the water at low tide and still kept it pretty shallow to be safe due to the strong current. It’s great if you want to try surfing though, the older teenage boys rented surf boards and were able to do that one day which was fun to watch.
If you are going to Costa Rica and plan to stay near Jaco, you should definitely try to rent this place, you will not regret it!

The house was better than described. Everyone had the same reaction when walking through the front door. Wow! You can see the ocean waves clearly through the glass back doors. Beds were comfy. Cleaning service was so efficient and helpful. Roberto the manager was so insightful and easy to get a hold of. He helped us with making excursions happen and hiring a chef for a family meal. It was like having a concierge nearby. YoYo's poolside bar was a great part of the stay. We could walk over and buy coffee from the little coffee shop or have lunch or dinner with cocktails just steps away from the house. It was difficult to get Uber drivers to come to this community but the taxi service was available however somewhat more costly than the ubers. House is about 15 minutes from Jaco restaurants and shopping. Some of us got surf lessons from Jeffrey, a contact of Roberto's and meeting him was truly a highlight of this wedding trip. Truly a beautiful soul and a great teacher. He picked us up and dropped us off after each lesson. We highly recommend staying in Hermosa Palms. This house is truly a treat! Thank you Roberto, Maria, Chef Dennis and Tim for making our stay so wonderful!

Words can’t describe how amazing our stay was! My husband and I came to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and we always wanted to take our kids back one day and this time was better than the last if that is even possible. There were 9 of us, we traveled with our family and another family and there was more than enough room and so much to do. To start Tim and Roberto are absolutely wonderful! The house was immaculate and Tim was so communicative throughout the whole process. Roberto was extremely accommodating and helped us plan everything and treated us like we were part of the community. We are still dreaming about swimming up to Yoyo’s pool bar for fish tacos, mojitos and pina coladas. We felt so safe and we were close enough to town and explore when we wanted to, but secluded enough from the touristy parts. The sunsets are ones you dream of. The neighbors treated us like family and made sure to let us know when it was a good time to swim in the ocean. This trip was a trip of a lifetime we can’t say enough and I could go on forever. We went on so many excursions and we were in an hours distance from Manuel Antonio. If you are looking for a true experience of culture, beaches and adventure I highly recommend staying here. We didn’t want to leave and we will absolutely be back!

This house was beautiful. Lots of room to spread out, kids loved the pool table and games. The beach was right outside, and the pool in the neighborhood was fantastic, and only three doors down walking along the beach. There was a cute beach bar there where we had a few meals and lots of drinks.
A couple notes, the beach is not swim mobile. This is for hard-core professional surfers only. The waves were gigantic. We enjoyed looking at it from the safety of the pool. If you are a hard-core surfer, this is a dream house. Also, not too many restaurants very close by. We did find a few places to deliver from Jaco. there was also a little noise from the construction going on on the house next-door, but that’s temporary. this is a quiet and very safe neighborhood.
Overall, we found it to be very nice.

From the moment we booked Casa #3 at Hermosa Palms we knew it was a good choice because the communication from the owner and from the property manager (Roberto) was outstanding. The house was exactly as listed - lots of comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms, open kitchen, dining and family area including a pool table. One of the biggest pluses was the aforementioned Roberto - a wealth of information on transportation, activities, and excursions, and dining options (Chef Dennis, and crew came twice and both nights were delightful). Having the Hermosa Beach Club just steps away from Casa #3 was a real highlight. It has a huge pool with Yoyo’s restaurant and pool bar - absolutely fantastic! There is one other huge plus- Maria, the housekeeper! She kept the house tidy, made sure the beach towels were clean, did our laundry and our dishes. This was a TRUE vacation! All 14 of us agreed that it was FABULOUS.

Great place I would recommend to anybody traveling to Jaco/Playa Hermosa area. House location is great and is very roomy. Traveled here with family and friends, and this property was the perfect setup for our group. Kids were able to surf and play at the beach right in the backyard of the property. The Beach Club pool is very close (literally three houses down) and also has a small bar/restaurant with great food and drinks. YoYo, the owner of the restaurant was onsite everyday and was very accommodating. Chef Dennis is also available to cook your catch or pick from his menu items. The owner of the property and the property manager Roberto were first class and were able to schedule all our activities and transfers. Thanks for having us and can't wait to come back!

Incredible!
The property was perfect for our family of 12 and it could've accommodated more. We loved the privacy of the gated neighborhood, the ocean and the pool. The food and drinks at the pool were amazing.
Roberto was available for all of our questions and assisted us with all of our excursions. He was beyond attentive to every detail. He even helped us procure a chef for several days during our stay which was simply delicious. I highly recommend Chef Denis, as well.

Perfect house for a trip with friends
Incredible house on the beach with direct access to the ocean. Only a few doors down from the community pool with an amazing swim up bar serving delicious food and drinks. 5-star service throughout the entire trip...both Tim and Roberto were very accommodating and Roberto had the best recommendations whether it came to restaurants, nightlife, activities, or transportation. Maria kept the house tidy the whole trip. Only 15 minutes from downtown Jaco, with tons of access to activities and restaurants. No brainer to stay here.

The Perfect Place
Everything about this house has been perfect, there was 14 of us that stayed here for a full week, there was plenty of space. The house was clean. The location was superb. Communication with the property manager. Roberto was easy and he was a great guy who always was a phone call away if we needed him, the housekeeper Maria was phenomenal and a wonderful human being. Amazing location and beautiful home!
This area is the best kept secret! The home is lovely and you can not beat walking out the back door to the beach. The waves were perfectly tiered…the back waves were for surfing, the middle set for boogie boards, and then small waves for children. The pool is a few steps away with a delicious restaurant for lunch.
The property manager Roberto was always available to help set up excursions or answer any questions-he made our trip worry free! He also recommended Denis, a chef to come in and cook meals for us. His food was amazing-highly recommend. Tim the owner was so easy to work with and also was happy to answer any questions. This is a great family getaway. Could not recommend more. The only thing I would suggest is to wear flip flops until you get closer to the water as the black sand gets quite hot!

Everything we wanted
Our group of 4 couples spent 4 nights at this property. The home and surroundings more than lived up to the description. The house was beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. The neighborhood was gated and there was security which make our more nervous travelers feel at ease. Roberto the property manager was amazing. He gave great advice prior to our arrival, every excursion he recommended and set up was fantastic. He even got us last minute dinner reservations when we couldn't. You must utilize the pool area. The bar is the social center of the community. The food there rivaled any restaurant, the drinks were amazing, and there was great conversation with long term residents and visitors alike. Sunset views from the house and pool had us mesmerized. We will be returning!

Beautiful home in an amazing location!
Had an amazing experience in this Hermosa palms home. Celebrated a birthday with friends from all over the United States and it was the perfect place. The views are incredible and you also have access to the pool a few houses down which has a swim up bar with great food and drinks. There is ample room in the house for big parties. Highly recommend! The owner and property manager were both extremely helpful and communicative. Would love to come back. Thanks for everything!

Absolutely The Best!!!
We have stayed in this area once before and this place is even better than the last place. Security guards checking in at various points across the complex 24 hours a day. Great air conditioning. In every room. We will absolutely be coming back again. Roberto has great access to all of the amazing things to do. From activities to chefs. A truly unexpected bonus was the maid. She cleans all the dishes and does laundry everyday. I only wish I would have ordered my covid test online it would have saved a lot of money also make sure you keep extra cash to tip the maid and Roberto at the end. We rented a car at the airport through Avis it was very quick pick up and drop off. AVIS will charge you extra for insurance $26 a day OR $32 for full coverage.

Diamond in the Rough at Hermosa Playa
What a great property! We had 3 families, 6 adults and 7 children. The scenery from the back porches overlooking the Pacific Ocean were exquisite and you were on the beach 200 feet further out. Tim, the owner, was helpful with planning of our vacation and Roberto, the property manager, was on site and addressed all of our needs. He even assisted with planning events and arranged transportation to/from the airport. Maria did an excellent job keeping order with the group washing and housekeeping. It was an unforgettable week and definitely will return!.

Centrally located for a variety of day trips like ATV, monkey boat tour, Manuel Antonio National park (sloth, toucans, etc), surfing or just head offshore fishing. The bedrooms are comfortable and definitely have room for 12 adults or 18 with kids (that was us!) Such a memorable time we want to come back but ‘til then Pura Vida!🤙🏻

Fantastic family vacation!!
We had 16 stay very comfortably is this beautiful home. Kids from 2-15 and 9 adults. Marie came every day to clean and tidy the house which was much needed with our crowd. Roberto helped us with so many little and big events, he is truly wonderful. The location on the beach is stunning, the house is beautiful and the community pool was perfect for a relaxing day and it has a swim up bar with great drinks and food!
The waves were amazing to just watch in awe. Highly recommend staying here!!
