Booking.com overbooked

Eddie Tap Room is a beautiful property. We spent two nights. Modern luxury at the foot hills of Golden, CO. The room smelled of lavender. The bedding was wonderful. It's a perfect setting for romance or time with friends. We enjoyed both! There's a lovely path along the creek to downtown, where we enjoyed local shops and restaurants. Bikes are available for use. The lobby is perfectly comfortable as well as the restaurant and patio. We loved the rooftop cozy gas firepit We would stay here again! 10/10.

The only disappointment with our stay was not the hotel's fault. We arrived at 10pm and our King room had been given to another guest. The manager was apologetic, but said Booking.com had over booked king rooms. This was so disappointing. We sleep in a king bed at home and downgrading a size absolutely affected our sleep quality. We booked our room several months in advance and expected to get what we paid for. Next time I would reserve directly with the hotel and not with Booking.com.

Okay but not great

Front desk staff was great, worked me through a couple of issues with smiles.

We had 2 queen beds in a room that was too small. The side of one bed was 6 inches from the wall meaning you had to climb in from the end. Expresso machines on each floor but the 2 I tried don't work.

This was an excellent choice to stay for a Red Rocks trip.

The waffles were delicious and the yogurt parfaits were delectable! We enjoyed our time in the outdoor bar area and the menu items we tried were all very good. The large 4th floor patios for hotel guest only were a lovely way to spend some time in the evenings.

Back to nature with the comforts of home.

Golden location. Large rooms with couch and bunk beds for grandkids. Lobby with breakfast included as well as outdoor seating, fire pits, and views.

Enjoyable minus one or two things

Staff, bar area, coffee station and breakfast were the highlight!

A little pricey fir what it is! Blackout blinds weren't blackout and curtains didn't close Nice room great bathroom & shower

Beautiful hotel and location.

The hotel is clean and has the most comfortable beds. We also loved the restaurant and the hiking trail/path located behind the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My 4-yr old daughter forgot her favorite stuffed animal unicorn in the room. The staff called to inform us and to ask if they could ship it to us in Florida. We were thrilled with their thoughtfulness.

The staff was eager to please and the facilities were fantastic!

Newly built. Very clean, and everything in working order. Multiple fire pits. Located right of the highway and walking distance to the main retail and restaurant corridor of Golden. Free onsite parking. Coffee station on every floor. Lots of offerings in the free breakfast. Great beer-focused restaurant.

Superb

Great hotel with a cool vibe. Our room was comfortable and well styled. The free breakfast and parking was an added bonus. Awesome place to stay when going to Red Rocks.

Great location for exploring Golden and beyond.

Nicely appointed. Very clean. Loved the communal spaces, especially the 4th floor terraces. Staff was great, very helpful. Parking easy. Loved the bikes!

Room was very noisy. Bed was hard. Toilet paper was THE WORST. A humidifier might help with the dryness and sound cancellation from the highway directly outside.

cool spot but if you want silence, not the best option.

Everything about the hotel was great - location not so much. Hotel resturant was awesome. nice staff and clean, big rooms.

The hotel is so close to highway. The noise was too much outside our window. pic made it look like we would be in the wilderness, but it surrounded by two major roads at an intersection, so the trucks and motorcycle noise was loud.

Great place to have some alone time with your spouse.

Great staff. The room was excellent, the bed comfortable, and the rooftop patios were a great addition.

The noise from the bar area was a little much towards the end of the night.
