Excellent stay, we would happily stay again! We loved every moment.

We especially liked the welcome from friendly, helpful, diverse staff, location, comfortable bed, cleanliness, the number of charging outlets for devices in communal areas.

We enjoyed the breakfast, but think that there just need to be a bit more mindfulness in laying out adequate serving utensils for the cheese and sliced meats, yogurt and fruit section. Also need to be more anticipatory when it comes to knowing when things are running out such as the scrambled eggs. It would have been nice to have vegan or plant based proteins for non-meat eaters to replace the sausages and bacon, also some fish such as smoked mackerel or salmon would have been great additions.

Very conveniently located for the area. The staff are exceptionally kind and professional. Beds are comfy.

The bathrooms are clean but rather outdated as is the tv whip isn’t a smart one.

Breakfast was good in the restaurant. Bar prices fair for Croydon. Hotel clean with friendly staff.

View from room very poor but they can't improve that View was overlooking building site.

Generally excellent, would recommend & stay again

Short walk from East Croydon station- convenient for Gatwick airport. Great sized room with large bed. Nice to have both a bath tub and shower. Good breakfast- cereals, breads, pastries, hot options, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheeses & deli meats etc. Friendly staff & efficient check in/out. Hotel was not full & was given free upgrade to larger room. Good soundproofing from busy roads outside.

My room looked out onto a building site- no real issue for me as I was leaving early in the morning anyway. Signage of the hotel only really clear when you get close- could be more obvious for those arriving on foot from the station. Breakfast menu showed hash browns but there were only boiled potatoes. Breakfast pastries are mini ones not full sized.

A decent city hotel

Its a basic hotel with all the ammenities one needs to be comfortable.

Check in at 3pm is late and there was no mineral water in the rooms despite it being marketed as a 3 - 4 star hotel. I messaged the hotel over 24h before arrival, requesting early checkin but never got a reply. At the front desk it was explained that every early checkin was charged 10 pounds per hour. That said, given i was staying 3 nights, they did offer me a noon checkin for free but was unable to male it work with my schedule Breakfast buffet was so so, over cooked eggs and soggy bacon were not fun. Bread choice was limited to toast - a nice loaf of bread like sourdough would have been nice. Pillows were way too hard. Was not comfortable with the pillows.

Très agréable et quartier très calme

Chambre spacieuse ,équipée de bouilloire thé café. Le petit déjeuner très complet. Personnel agréable et à l’écoute. Rapport qualité prix très correct. Emplacement à 3 min de la gare, a20 min en train du centre de londre.

Beautiful place and lovely staff!

The receptionist when we collected keys was so kind, informative, and friendly. The wait staff at breakfast were efficient and very accommodating too.

Nothing anyone can do but the wind on deck 11 was so loud!

Nice stay.

Sarah on the front desk was so friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble for her. I was part of a wedding party and got up graded to a king size room, so I could be nearer my friend. The bed was soooo comfy and the water and biscuits in the room was a nice touch. Being a celiac the food choice at breakfast was great and the staff were so accommodating. Over all I had a really good stay.

The parking situation was a bit awkward, but the price for the length of stay wasn't too bad.

Exceptional

The room was comfortable, breakfast has a great variety of options, and the everyone on the staff was exceptionally friendly. Truly a great experience. Great value and only 20 minutes by train from the city centre.
