My wife and I stayed here for one month and really enjoyed the Casita. Great location in a quiet area. Casita has everything you need and has a real Mexican flair. Roxane is a great host, accommodating and kind. Perfect for a couple! We will be back! Tom & Carmen

Loved our one month stay at Roxanne's casita. The casita was equipped with everything you could need. Bed was super comfortable. Lots of good dining and groceries close by. Nice little table on the patio to enjoy our coffee and cribbage in the nice green courtyard space with the flowers and hummingbirds. Then there was the relaxing sitting area up on the rooftop palapa for enjoying the mild evening airs. It is only a short block to the beach for watching spectacular sunsets. Also it was great to have the use of Roxanne's bicycles to ride into Melaque centro for calmer swimming beaches and many beach restaurants. Walking down the beach to either Barra de or Melaque centro was always enjoyable and probably took less than 20 minutes each way. Taxi back from Barra was an inexpensive option in the evening. Roxanne is super friendly and helpful, Quickly addressed any minor issues we had. All in all a great holiday and wonderful place to stay. Thanks Roxanne!

WONDERFUL STAY AT ROXANNES CASITA!
We loved pretty much everything about our stay at Roxannes. The place was very artsy, well kept and well equipped with so many appliances etc and she even brought us a blender and let us use her beach chairs & umbrella as well as her 2 Bicycles. Lovely interaction and overall we would stay again. my Only issue was the amount of dust on the street in the town which was sometimes hard on my allergies. One other thing was she went out of her way to give us restaurant and entertainment suggestions and we really appreciated that. Also the gorgeoud view from the rooftop deck and so many beautiful flowers and plants in the gardens. Minor complaint is I would suggest that maybe a small bistro table outside to eat on as otherwise we ate at bar stools and patio furniture might need some updating as the vinyl was old and worn and a bit dirty but again such a minor issue. It was also super quiet at night and we loved walking through the various parts of two and the beach was two blocks from us and lovely.

Beautiful, close to the ocean, amazing host.
My husband, 11 month old and I spent a week at Roxane's casita. It was so fantastic. Only a couple blocks from the ocean and a nice walk into town. I loved doing yoga on the roof under the palapa and walking the beach in the morning before it got too hot. Roxane was a super host. Giving advice, so kind, helping with the language barrier. The Casita itself was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. If we come back to Melaque/San Patricio we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Viva La Mexico
I stayed for 3 weeks at Roxane's beautiful little house in back. I really enjoyed the yard being a lover of plants myself. The roof top was my late night cooling off & watching the sunset just a short walk to beach. Roxane is a great lady, very helpful to offer rides, rainjacket or a bike to ride. Just loved her husbands art on the walls, she offered to show me more but regreat the time went fast. If you are looking for a quite, comfortable place to stay, enjoying and showing respect for the culture you came to visit. Thank you Roxane! Mucho Love, Debbie from Santa Cruz, California
