About this house rental
Norfolk street is nestled in Old Dunsborough where gardens and trees provide a calming retreat. The property backs onto a small winter creek and just a street away from the old golf course where kangaroos graze every morning. Possums in the trees and the birds always looking for an afternoon feed.
Open plan living with high ceilings, a cozy wood burner for winter evenings and off street parking. Dunsborough town can be buzzing, but you would never know in this quiet and private location.
Only a short drive or walk to the town centre, beaches, wineries and cafes it is a convenient and relaxing place to stay. We are also pet friendly, the verandah is secured (for larger dogs).
Please note that linen is NOT provided. Wifi is available. This property is strictly no smoking.

Our family really enjoyed the time here, especially the fireplace.

This property is perfectly situated not far from Dunsborough centre and is a great place to use as your base while exploring the area.
It is an older property and can have a musty smell but that soon goes once you air the place out. The cleaner may need to be a little more thorough but again, for the price this is a great place to stay. Thanks

Nice house, enough for the 4 of us, town centre nearby.

2 Front doors very very confusing when it’s dark and you are fully stressed after a 5 hour drive.

Far enough and yet close enough to the downtown area

Not far from town. Lovely quiet area. Though if you have small dogs they might be able to get through the fence.

Ideal location. Close to everything.
Enjoyed it immensely.
Could use wi fi though.
But loved it, thanks.

Our stay was very enjoyable with beautiful beaches and the Margaret River region right on our doorstep. We would have liked to have wood chopped for cold evenings as the three of us were older women and the idea of swinging an axe was a bit intimidating. 😉However, there was a heater that helped heaps. The house was very very clean, but there were a few spider webs hanging from the ceilings. Apart from our two minor issues, it was a lovely and comfortable stay with beautiful scenery and lots of lovely places to visit . Thank you for hosting us.

We had a most pleasant and enjoyable weekend at 55 Norfolk street in Dunsborough. The house is spacious and comfortable. I would like to mention that the two back bedrooms have a very strong unpleasant odour and as we had no need of them we closed the doors. It may be pet urine or some such but I thought I’d bring it to your notice as you may like to investigate. Other than that it was great. Thank you so much. Dee.

Lovely place to stay for quiet secluded break, overlooking natural remnant bush, a water course in winter. Lots of parrots and the occasional possum. Has everything you need except bedding and towels, suitable for self catering. Very comfortable, thank you to the host!

We together with our pet dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The quality, comfort and cleanliness of the property was excellent and we look forward to being able to return at a future date. The Owner communicated with us well in advance of our stay and the property was exactly as described and in excellent condition. A great location with short walk to beach in a quiet location in Old Dunsborough. Highly recommend this property. Thank you

This property was in a beautiful area with lots of walk paths and only 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Wildlife right at your back door was bonus. Our little dog loved it. Really want to visit this house in the winter. We will be back.

This property worked well, was practical, had an easy functioning ‘pot belly’ with generous supply of wood, which warmed the whole house and created a lovely atmosphere

Great stay in ideal location
We had a great time. We enjoyed very much the fire place and we found the place peaceful and very cosy and clean as well as ideally appointed for a family.
The location is also great in the middle of trees and a run away from the beach.
Thanks!

Perfect offline getaway for dog lovers
Lovely simple property with good kitchen amenities. It offers a simple lifestyle (no wifi or coffee machine) but makes up for that with a veranda overlooking the woods, lots of hot water in the bathroom and kitchen. Lovely bird life and great walks around.
We visited in winter and while the house was pretty cool, the log burner soon warmed us up.
A very short drive to beautiful Dunsborough. We ate at The Pour House which possibly serves the best pub food in WA, plus guest ales for the beer lovers.
Don’t stay here if you are a perfectionist seeking luxury. Do stay here if you love nature and want to unwind.

Great Stay in Dunsborough
We had a great stay in Dunsborough over the Easter Holidays.
It was a nice home that suited a family of 6. Everything that you could ask for in a beautiful location, backing onto a stretch of natural bushland and close to everything in Dunsborough.
Would happily return. Thank you

Nice and Relaxing
Bigger than I was expecting.
Nice facilities, beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean with hot water that never ran out plus the pantry was stocked with basics and there were books and board games available. We also used the fireplace which kept the place nice and warm. Would stay here again.

Great spot and accommodation
Location is close to town in old dunsborough in nice quiet back block looking on to bushland. House was clean and functional, great value for a weekend away with family or friends.
