lovely people, excellent location, perfect for a long weekend or a few days

it was easy to find and in a really good location to allow us to explore the area. it’s very close to some excellent restaurants and bars and only a fifteen minute, casual stroll to the lake.

there is a slope in the ceiling of the room we stayed in and I kept banging my head, it’s a thick head though so no damage was caused and as that was the only thing, I’d be happy to recommend it

Steve and Caz are fabulous hosts and genuinely have your every need catered for, they cannot do enough for you and will help every way they can, I had forgotten my rucksack and Steve very kindly lent me one for the day, it is a very friendly home for home B&B, very modern, newly renovated and delicious breakfast. although you will need a good walk to work it off. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a home from home, warm and friendly B&B then this is the place. We will be returning as soon as we are able. Brill !!!!

Very welcoming, met me with a smile. House beautiful, warm and comfortable. House and room had lovely touches and was very comfortable. Easy parking in zoned area, in centre of town, house in great location. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked and very much appreciated, thank you!

Great location, great hosts and great food.

Steve & Caz were fantastic hosts and nothing was to much to ask from them. My wife and I loved the themed rooms and the breakfast was an A star. The location was great and we will definitely be going back to the Hillsdale sometime in the next few months.

A home from home, perfect hosts, great location, immaculate and modern, great breakfast, I would definitely stay again.

It was quiet, immaculate, great position, the secure parking was perfect and gave me piece of mind as I was travelling having bought a new car. If I owned a B&B this is what it would look like.

The best b&b we have ever stayed at. Lovely place and Caz & Steve's attention to detail was second to none- they clearly love their work. Great breakfast with choice over what you order. If we return to the area fir a few days, e'd definitely return.

Lovely location in the centre of Ambleside.. Parking space a shorty distance from property Friendly attentive hosts Lovely modern deco around the place Great breakfast with lots of options ( my partner was Gluten Free and was catered for without fuss) Cosy bedroom with comfy double bed while place was lovely and clean

I wouldn’t hesitate to book again next time.

Decor, food, great hospitality, hosts were lovely people and would go out of their way to help in any way. the position of the property is perfect within the Lake District and it has great restaurants and shops within a very short walking distance.
