Location, location, location! The Pacific Ocean is at the end of the street, and Pacific Grove’s walkable downtown is two blocks away (park your car - you may never need it). The living is easy in this spacious five-bedroom home: the main living areas are on the lower floor, along with the kitchen, dining room, laundry, a bath with a shower, a powder room and two bedrooms (one Queen, two Twins). A staircase leads to the upper floor, with three bedrooms (one Queen, two Twins, and one King) along with a full bath with a tub/shower. The home is equipped with six Samsung smart TVs with YouTube streaming and DVR functionality. YouTube offers live TV, news and sports on over 85 channels (you may also log into your personal accounts, such as Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Hulu or Disney+). Built in 1895, and completely updated, this is country coastal living at its best. You’re steps away from the coastal recreational trail (walk or bike to the Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman’s Wharf). Lover’s Point, a sheltered white sand beach (and a haven for surfers, kayakers and scuba divers)—is a few minutes away. Here you’ll find a park, a volleyball court, and a seasonal kiddie pool along with a café, a grill, and The Beach House restaurant (check out their “Sunset Supper” specials). When you’re not at the beach you can stroll to the weekly farmer’s market, library, museum, and downtown shops, restaurants and galleries… or hop in your car to explore scenic 17-Mile Drive, Pebble Beach, Carmel, and Big Sur. We enjoyed a long weekend with extended family. The property was perfect for us. It was clean and well stocked. The pillows on the beds were especially awesome. The location is excellent, we walked most places including Cannery Row, Lovers Point and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will certainly book it again if we stay in the Monterey area!

We booked this house for the groom and groomsmen to stay for the wedding weekend. The amount of space, beds, and bathrooms was perfect for a large group of adult males. Plus the location is amazing! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway with friends or family.

Plenty of room for our extended family of 8 adults. Beautifully renovated home with ample space. Large dining table and a nice kitchen. Easy walk to Lovers Point. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was a very nice VRBO. The location was amazing, but we had 7 people and not one of us were able to take a hot shower all 4 days, 3 nights we were there. There was also flooding in the downstairs shower and I had to unclog the hair in the drain. The response from the property was slow.

We are a family of 10 and we had a very comfortable stay at this property. The home is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. It was a short stroll to lovers point and a quick drive to the pier and cannery row. We will be back!

We had an amazing time in Pacific Grove golfing at Spyglass and Spanish Bay for my husband’s 60th birthday! The house had EVERYTHING! Even supplies to make a birthday cake! My family and I would recommend staying here as it’s only a block from the ocean and a nice walk into town . Very close to Pebble Beach as well. Thank you for helping to make our trip a relaxing and memorable one.

Dinner Club (8 women) had a fantastic weekend stay. The home has a beautiful kitchen, plenty of living space, and wonderful windows. The house was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed walking to town, the ocean, and dinner. Thank you!

Although the reservation was supposed to be for 10 adults and children, it ended up being for four adults and two children. The house is very very nice. The location worked perfectly for our family activities. The only downside is that it is on the corner of Central Avenue and there is lots of street noise. Using a sound machine and night really helped and no issues.

Centrally located, this was a perfect spot to enjoy the area. The kitchen was well stocked to cook for 8 adults and the place was clean and well stocked. Our extended family would stay here again!

There were 7 of us staying at the house. The house was very clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. The house was well equipped, we needed nothing but the food we brought in! I recommend the Beach Club for large family or friend reunions!

We had adult family member, 3 couples and a single for 7 people total. The house had plenty of space and was an easy 1 block from the beachfront trail. We could walk into town and walk and ride bikes easily without having to get in the car. The house was clean and well supplied. Everything was in good woking order. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the tastefully decorated old world charm of the home together with the efficiency of kitchen, bathroom & window covering upgrades! The proximity to the ocean, shops, restaurants & local attractions, (including Sunday Mass @ St. Angela’s😉) made our stay a STANDOUT in our long history of reunions!! Location, location, location! Walk to town, walk to ocean, walk to aquarium a little further but so doable! Property pristine clean, well stocked kitchen for 8 people, comfortable beds with wonderful pillows and linens, bathrooms with fluffy white towels. We were in heaven!! Several TV’s so kids were happy, too. An extraordinary property!

The Beach Club house was a great place for our family vacation. Pretty much everything we needed at the house except for our clothes and food. (bring spices if you are going to cook) We had 6 adults and 4 children ranging from 5 years to 10 months. House was plenty big enough for all. The outdoor space at the house was ok but the ocean was really close so we went there. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go.

We had a great week in Pacific Grove at this very comfortable beach house. The things we care about most: -nice beds -well stocked kitchen -location (walking to town/ beach) If you are looking for a quaint, historic home, this is not that-- it's modern inside and well set up for extended families to enjoy together. No frills and not much for outdoor space, but great proximity and easy entry/ check out. Very responsive property management, too. Thanks! Hatfield-Buttler family

This home was ideal for a large family group, with spaces for togetherness and spaces to get a bit of space to yourself. The living room and kitchen table provided gathering space (with the two folding chairs provided, the table sat ten). The downstairs floor had a queen bedroom and a two-twin bedroom, providing my 85-year-old father-in-law a bathroom with an accessible shower bench and also his sleeping quarters all on the first floor (provided he could navigate the few porch steps into the home). An additional half bath was available in the living room area. Three bedrooms on the upper floor slept two each, and the bathroom had both a separate shower stall and a shower over tub, which would have made bathing children quick and efficient if we had had any with us. The upstairs also had a small nook with bar seating for three, futon seating, and various poofs to sit on. This area would make a great play space for children. The home was immaculate with simple updated styling, blankets and fluffy towels were plentiful, and communication with the rental company was excellent. Only five houses away from the road that runs along the ocean, steps to Lover’s Point, a short walk to downtown Pacific Grove, and a brisk fifteen minute walk to Cannery Row make this an amazing location. Recommend.

This house was perfect for our family of grown children and grandchildren. Plenty of rooms and space, we could all fit around the table to eat. Walked to Lovers Point a few times, downtown PG and had a get together with our daughter in laws family in Monterey. Would have been nice to have ziplock bags or cling wrap for leftovers since we cooked at the house, but we made it work. I knew there would be no seasonings or anything so we brought what we needed.

First of all, this is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. As advertised, 2 blocks from the beach and downtown - amazing! We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, check-in was easy and simple. The first day there, the only downstairs shower was completely blocked and overflows. We have to wash all the mats and towels. They send a plumber on Thanksgiving which is both appreciatied and intrusive, with little regard or apology, although, I appreciated the quick response (but who wants a plumber at your “house” on a major holiday?). Once the plumbing was fixed, and the towels were in the laundry, my sister-in-law realized that while the house was listed as hosting a capacity of 10, there were exactly 8 full sized towels in the home. Additionally, I later got an earful from my father-in-law that that downstairs bathroom door didn’t lock. When I brought this up with the managing agency, I was told that I should have called, that they have 24 hour service. I guess, I could have, but to call 3 times on a holiday seems excessive. As a property management company, these problems should have been addressed before we got there. Instead, I was told that I was only the second family to stay there after it was remodeled- am I to be grateful for finding the flaws? I’m assuming they have fixed these issues and going forward, it will be an amazing place to stay, I didn’t appreciate the inconveniences and general lack of concern for our discomfort, particularly coming from a property management company.

Great stay in an excellent location. Close to everything. The home is a historic home so there are many stairs but there’s also 2 bedrooms on the main level if you have kids or mobility issues. Great communication with property manager

Location, location, location...The house was perfect for our family. We had a total of 10 guests and there was plenty of room for all of us. The best thing for us was the location. Walking distance to everything that we had planned.

This home is beautiful, clean, and perfect for a getaway. Our group was a mix of adults, teenagers, toddlers, and an infant. The layout was ideal because the teenagers stayed in the bedrooms downstairs and the adults and little ones stayed in the rooms upstairs. We walked into downtown Pacific Grove for the shops and dinner, walked along the ocean to the aquarium, and the teenagers walked to downtown Monterey in the evenings. The walks were no more than 15 minutes and only about 5 minutes to Lovers Point. We even saw deer walking in the neighborhood. The home has everything you need and we will definitely be back! And the management company was wonderful and even gave local restaurant recommendations.

Great location, nice older home which has been upgraded; new appliances, gas range, larger kitchen than expected for older house, well equipped. Quiet neighborhood with a few deer coming to visit. Easy walking distance to Aquarium and a couple blocks to shoreline path. Strong recommendation.

This home had the best equipped kitchen we have ever rented and we are very frequent renters. Lots of kitchen gadgets and plenty of serving and storage ware. High quality linens, nice beds and pillows.
