A cosy accommodation option for visiting such a picturesque region. So much to do and see!

A well nestled accommodation option for visiting the region. Comfortable facilities and you definitely won't feel the cold with the fireplace and the rooms hold the heat in extremely well. The owners are very accommodating and the kitchenette area is very thought out for self contained lodging. Lots of storage areas for luggage for a long stay.

A brief instruction sheet on how to control the fireplace would have been handy for our late arrival and the batteries for the safe and TV remote needed replacing so we did not use either devices. We did not complain as there was so much to do and see outdoors. There was no non caffeine or sugar free teas available. There are no laundry facilities available unless you go into town. A hot breakfast option would have been nice for the cool weather.

Safe and comfortable stay

Andril Fireplace Cottages were comfortable and convenient for our stay, with walking distance down to the beach. The area felt safe and our 8 and 10 year old were happy to explore the communal areas. The large grass area was great for playing frisbee or games and our cottage was situated next to this area so easy for kids to go out and play. We used the large communal gas bbq one night, which was great and easy to use.

We had a smaller cottage and it was cramped for the four of us with big suitcases. Perhaps more suit to older families. The kitchen was sufficient but it could have benefitted from some items such as cooking oil to make it less of a hassle when only self catering for 4 nights out of a 21 night holiday.

As close to perfect except for the weather which had nothing to do with the facilities orstaff.

It rained the first day so we took off for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Perfect! Returned to our cottage and had a great fire in the fireplace. Room and grounds were spotless. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Cannot think of one thing that was not up to par. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return and recommend to friends and family.

Disappointing

It was a great place.

There was no hot water to take a hot bath or a shower. At over three hundred dollars a night, I would expect there to be hot water and not having to shower in a different room, considering we booked it for the jetted bathtub. When inquiring about a partial refund, the only accommodation made was for the pet fee of twenty dollars. This was a short birthday getaway that was disappointing.

Friendly cozy and clean stay

It was very charming and the grounds were well kept up and inviting. I loved the room came with a patio and bbq and many other cool things. They are very dog friendly. A huge plus. Friendly service as well!

Everything was awesome, although if your planning on getting the king room don’t plan for three people , as the sofa pull out isn’t very big or comfortable.

Avoid the small budget rooms and you’ll have a great stay.

The cottage had everything and was spacious. The fireplace was wonderful.

The original room we booked was small and didn’t have a fireplace. For $30 we were able to upgrade to a full cottage with a kitchen and fireplace. If I had stayed in that first room I certainly would not have given a positive review.

If you came 30 minutes earlier and the room is ready, why not to let people in, why we have to wait 20 min and park outside? Nobody mentioned about breakfast.

- Free breakfast is a bit of a stretch. Sure, if you’re a fan of breakfast cereals then you’re in luck as that is pretty much the only option… We needed to get our breakfast elsewhere.

Just found our Monterey Haven

The property is absolutely charming! Our room was spacious and comfortable. We never heard anyone around us. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of flowering plants, lawn areas, lounge chairs, seating areas, etc. It is also a very short walk to Asilomar beach, which is also gorgeous. They are also dog friendly and we brought our dog, but we never heard barking dogs in the other rooms. It is very soundproof and quiet. We visit Monterey and Pacific Grove often because our boys live here. We have definitely found our new haven. Kudos to the management!

The breakfast was minimal, i.e., a continental breakfast, but sufficient to get your day started.

We will definitely be back. Andril is a gem!

The property was charming and quiet. Plenty of room to roam without feeling overcrowded. There is a lovely place for pets to romp and play. It is a quick walk through Asilomar to reach the beach which allows dogs.

Clean, magical and convenient.

Beautiful and convenient location, cozy property with everything you may need during your stay. Friendly and helpful staff. It’s surrounded by beautiful and meticulously taken care of grounds. Short walk away from my favorite beach. This will be my new go to place in Pacific Grove / Monterey.

Everything was great. The only improvement it could use is to eventually update the appliances (such as the fridges etc, having said that, they function well and are clean, so it’s not really an issue) and the water faucets especially the one in the kitchen. Another thing to be mindful of is if you are staying on the ground floor, you will be hearing your neighbors stomp.

We spend our anniversary here every year for the past 10+ years and we love it. Wouldn't stay anyplace else when in Monterey/Pacific Grove ❤
