Plan your one-of-a-kind getaway at Loft on St. Elmo, a historic gem with a hipster vibe and jazzy flare. A garland of lights welcomes you into the bounteous entertaining space with grand ceilings, exposed beams, original brick, & hardwood floors. Open the double French doors to the patio, creating a seamless indoor/ outdoor space to relax and unwind. Loft on St. Elmo, by Lookout Mountain, offers the prime location for downtown fun and outdoor adventures. This home is located in the beautiful town of St. Elmo Chattanooga right on the historical street, St. Elmo Avenue. This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom home sleeps 4 people. The master bedroom has a spacious king bed and the two yellow couches in the living area that fold down into twin beds. We provide everything you will need to have a wonderful nights stay; including mattress pads for the sofa beds, linens, comforters and pillows. The adorable red kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you will need to cook a meal for your family; cookware, plate-ware, silverware. The dining table comfortably sits 6 people and there is another table with seating for 6 outside on the patio. This property is not suitable for young children. This home was professionally designed by Stacie Bond; Owner. NO SMOKING - We have a no tolerance policy. No smoking anywhere on the property or in the home. NO PARTYING NO PETS ALLOWED This property has a Ring Doorbell Security System with cameras outside. Weather and Outages! Please note: There will be no refunds in the unlikely circumstance that there is a power outage during your stay or if the weather is not cooperating. We do not have any control over the weather or outages caused by nature! We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance to be preventative in case something happens and you need to cancel. Loved this place. We had plenty of room. The decor was tasteful and it was well put together. Convenient to downtown. Would stay here again!

Unit is just as lovely as the photos and very clean. The location on St Elmo does come with traffic noise, so ear plugs are a good idea, if you are light sleepers (like us). The soft bed and luxury sheets / pillows are super nice. The historic neighborhood is in transition, as older homes gentrify, but overall felt safe. The A/C went out during our hot July stay, but management provided options (change to alternate unit or stay in hotel) and made the repair next day. While this could happen at anytime ( or at any property), it was disruptive to our trip and made for unexpected challenges. Regardless, we gave top ratings for the overall score, noting concerns for the larger neighborhood and communication challenges related to the A/C outage event.

The Loft is at the base of Lookout Mountain. The location could not be more perfect as it is within minutes from Rock City Garden and Ruby Falls. Located in the historic neighborhood of St. Elmo, it is a charming space. It was interesting to read all about the history of the neighborhood. The Loft was extremely clean and plenty of amenities.
As stated in the listing, St. Elmo is a busy street but the main bedroom is at the back of the house and truly isn’t an issue. We visited Coker Museum which is a must if you are a car buff like my husband. We had lunch at Massey’s Kitchen on Lookout Mountain and it was delicious. So many things to do in the area and the Loft is a little “gem” to return to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing.

This space is amazing! Brianna was wonderful, so responsive, and kind. The location is great, the interior is so warm and welcoming, and the history is lovely. I’ve already told so many friends and family members that they MUST stay here. Highly recommended.

Life is stressful and we needed a break. We had an awesome stay at this vrbo with a great vibe. It was close to attractions and downtown. We divided our time between exploring and relaxing at the vrbo. The property was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Would stay there again.

St. Elmo is a great neighborhood, and this met our needs for a great weekend!

Staying in an updated historic loft that is beautifully decorated, made us feel so comfortable. There is a park across the street and the loft is near the base of Lookout Mountain. There is so much to see and do within a few minutes walk or short drive. The scenery was beautiful and so was the architecture in the neighborhood. Local people were helpful. We will be back because there is more to explore.

This place is just as gorgeous as the pictures made it out to be, was well stocked with everything we needed for trip, and was just simply awesome. These hosts have thought carefully about everything you might need to make your stay more comfortable and executed the hospitality to perfection. My kids are 10 and 8 and loved the park that’s basically across the street.
There was some traffic noise, but that didn’t impact our love of the place. Additionally, if you have super young kids, be aware that the shelves are open and glass cups may be within reach.
I would gladly stay here every time I come back to Chattanooga. It hits all the “cool vibes” and “useful things you need” boxes.

We absolutely loved our visit at the st.elmo loft. Loved everything about it. We recommend it to any couple or small family wanting to just get away for a few days. We were celebrating a birthday weekend and ended up having dinner at 1885. Most other times we just hung out there and relaxed. Was perfect stay.

Loved staying here! The place was hip and the bed was very comfortable the only thing that was a small issue was how long it took to heat the place but once it got up there it worked better. The water was great and we really liked everything about it! Would stay here again!

The rental is an old grocery store turned into a one bedroom with a great room. It’s MASSIVE. There was plenty of room for us, and our preteen niece and nephew! They even got their own beds with the futons.
The location is great- ten minutes from the aquarium and literally around the corner from Lookout Mountain.
Be aware, the blinds in the front are not blackout, and the street lamp outside is very bright. We ended up getting eye masks for the kids, but it wasn’t the end of the world.

The location of the property was very close to area attractions and had easy access to local highways. If we ever have the pleasure of coming to this area again, we will definitely try to stay here.

The place was very clean, had most of the amenities we could ever need. There is alot of road noise, but it's fairly muffled in the back bedroom. It would probably be bothersome if people were sleeping on the couch or something, but it didnt bother us one bit. The design of the place was outstanding, we really enjoyed staying here. Pretty central location, not too far from anything really. Great deal....... great time. Thank you...... (we stayed for a couple days for our 15th Anniversary)...... Thank you very much!

The photos in the listing are gorgeous — and the reality exceeded expectations! The decor is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed is SO comfortable, luxury towels and even spa robes. We were VRBO hosts ourselves for awhile and know what it takes to do this well. This is the best rental we’ve stayed in. We will be back.

We absolutely loved the accommodations! The VRBO was unique, fun and had everything we needed. We stayed 4 nights and mountain biked 4 different areas, all very easy to get to from the VRBO. The owners have done such a cool renovation job on the old store!

We had originally planned to stay in the loft for 2 nights and in a downtown hotel the following 2 nights. We loved the place so much that we stayed there the entire trip. The property manager was excellent to work with and responded quickly to any questions.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this place! Absolutely every detail was thought out and provided! We took a road trip right after Christmas so it was a little chillier than our Florida home. St. Elmo's was so cozy and everything was comfy - the bed, the pillows, sofas, and even a furry throw to cuddle under while reading or watching TV. The location was close to everything we wanted to do and the restaurant recommendations were spot on! We loved the historic charm of the neighborhood, the funky decor of the building, and the creative use of space. I really appreciated the plush robes and the supply of coffee, laundry soap, and dishwasher soap (again, the details!). We have already recommended St. Elmo's to friends and family and they are "jazzed" to stay!
