We know the east wind isn’t typical, so other than the lack of heat, we had a good time and would stay again.

The room, especially the bathroom, was very nice. We had a great view and appreciated the complimentary breakfast.

The tiny little heater in the room was not powerful enough to keep the room warm. There was a very strong east wind on our first night that blew right in around the door. We were pretty cold.

This was our 3rd time staying here. There will be many more. I love this place.

The parking lot could use a repaving. Maybe make the parking spots a little bigger.

Very disappointed

We stay often, but this trip possible is our last time. Always loved it, but not this time. I left a note for them, but they didn't even respond to me.

Front staff had no concern about the TV not working. No phone in the room. Laughed at me when I reported the fire alarm going off each day.

It was right on the beach and it has a pool.

The beds are really uncomfortable and the pool hrs and rules are ridiculous. The bathrooms are really outdated and when I booked my hotel it said it had a kitchen and it only had a microwave and a small fridge with no freezer. I was very disappointed in my room.

Very good

Very good breakfast; we were given a prime room - across from the elevator, and good view out to the beach with balcony. But best part was meeting the owner who is extremely congenial. We were very curious about its connections, if any with the original Chautauqua Institution. We live close to the Chautauqua Institution in NY,, and have lots of connections with it. The staff and owner were not familiar with their namesake, but we are going to help Chautauqua Resort & Conference Center establish links with the NY Chautauqua. This made our stay! It should help Chautauqua Resort & Conf Center in their efforts to expand and improve their operation.

Weekend with the grandkids

The staff was exceptional and very helpful. The room was clean and smelled like it had been serviced.. The breakfast was good, something for everybody. Great location and the grandkids loved the pool.

Building was very noisy. There were few guests, but the upstairs floor creaked horribly. You can hear everything your neighbors do and say. Prices seemed high for the age of the building. Our unit was a condo plastered with For Sale signs in every window. Kids slept in a hide a bed which was very uncomfortable., but then that's what you get with those kinds of beds.

Kids loved it and want to come back

Lots of parking. Great pool fun for the family. Outside games for the family. Nice breakfast. Very old building but comfortable beds.

The beach is a close walk. The kids loved the pool. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The condo was spacious for our family.

They only opened the hot tub for a few hours in the evening.

Superb

We had a great weekend. Life long best friends since 6th grade. We are no 52 and it's been a blast so we do a BFF weekend once a year.

We wish the hot tub had longer hrs. Really maybe for am use also. Not just evening time.

Staff are really very nice. Location is good. Beds and pillows are good.

Noise. We were in 2nd floor but the noise in third floor would wake us up. We would hear the staff vacuuming or the guest entering and leaving the room. We would hear the floor creaks too. Breakfast is eh... TV remote are not working or hard to figure out. Ad pics are not a true representation of the condition of the place

Breakfast was wonderful. Queen bed for a tall big man and his wife was hell. Wanted ground level due to full blown vertigo. 3r floor was hell.

Third floor. Taking pets in and out from 3rd floor was awful.

Do not recomend

I liked the price and location i did not get the chance to see the room as they were having a fire alarm all day and the lady upfront was nice but i also got lied to so take that for what its worth.

showed up to property when i showed up and was signing papers for the room the fire alarm was going off. another person that was staying there advised me that the alarm has been going off every hour that is why there wasn't many people there. I have a daughter that is autistic and could not have the fire alarm going off like that so i talked to the front desk she said she would cancel the reservation and I wouldn't get charged turns out I am being charged for this time. would not recommend booking here.

The best was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep. The water pressure was terrible too. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room.

It was extremely dirty. Also it stated ocean view there was NO ocean view maybe if you had binoculars. Shower had black mold. Heat what heat? parking lot dark no light dangerous
