This house had a lot of potential, but it is dated and needs some attention! The cleanliness was not the best; dirty dishes put away unwashed, stains on sheets, bathroom floors not swept, outlets that didn’t work, and stains on every piece of upholstery. The large rooms, closeness to the beach, use of the garage, and the beach gear made us not call to ask for a refund after all of these issues presented themselves as our week’s stay played out. However, the issues really need to be addressed for future guests. We will not be returning.

This is an older house, but it is still very nice and comfortable! We had a lovely stay! Large, open, plenty of space. Beach is quiet, not many people. Wish the master was upstairs to get that unobstructed view!!! But still a nice view on the ground level too. We would stay here again.

We just had a wonderful time with three generations of family at a beautiful house right on a quiet stretch of beach. The garage is full of beach supplies, the kitchen is well equipped, and all the bedrooms are comfortable. This is our second year at this property and the owners have made a real effort to upgrade this home! Thanks

Nice spacious home. Master bed was terrible. Sauna was a nice addition. Plenty of beach items in the garage. Ice maker froze up. Got all the ice out but it didn’t work. Overall pretty decent.

...the "professional cleaning service" left a lot to be desired. There were crumbs under the kick plate in the kitchen, hair on the bathroom floors and tiny dead gnats in the master bath. The house needed an overall deep cleaning; especially kitchen cabinets. The garage was in need of organizing and broken equipment and beach paraphernalia needed to be discarded.
The excellent portions are: the house was very quiet, beautiful views and direct access to the beach. We would book back immediately with the above issues resolved and some upkeep projects done. Is in need of remodeling.
The rental service was superior. Each items we reported, we talked to a real person or were called back within minutes. Texts were constant checking to see if they could do anything else for us. Very impressed with their response.
Overall, we had a good time. Hope our detailed assessment will help the owner and the future renters.

-Not clean. Greasy fingerprints covering ALL kitchen cabinets and handles of microwave, dishwasher and ovens. This nastiness could be both seen and felt, also all doorknobs.
-Mold on upstairs vents (simple to wipe off) and water from these ceiling vents (w mold) dripped on people’s faces while sleeping in bed.
No large cooking pots or skillets to cook for or feed a large group. We had 7 big eaters and would have to cook breakfast in batches and make salads in several different containers.
-nasty, very large rust stain in master bthrm behind toilet that looks like vomit
-On last day (check out was 10am),,, 3 people were in back yard and peeking in the windows (while we are packing up and cleaning), they said management co. said they could come inside and look at place. Hell No!
-no good games for nights in
-Beautiful location, nice lay-out w plenty of room for 4 couples… BUT why would you scrimp on cleanliness (especially after Covid)???
And, no I did not contact the management, i went to store and bought disinfecting wipes and cleaned the place myself so that i could be assured it was actually clean.

This was the perfect beach house for our family to gather in! The house was very clean and just like the pictures showed online. There were all the added extras like beach toys, chairs and umbrellas and there were lots of towels and beach towels so we never ran out. We loved the fact that we could just walk onto the beach and the screened in back porch was wonderful for sitting and enjoying the ocean without the sun beating down on you. This house was excellent all around!

Location was amazing with the beach in our backyard and amazing views of the beach, sunrise and sunsets! The home was very clean and equipped with things that weren't listed such as beach equipment which was a huge plus. Great home for a big group and for entertaining.

We had a fun family vacation at this beautiful location. The house is very roomy and it couldn’t be closer to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and accommodated our family of 6 adults and a one year old perfectly. We were right on the beach and felt like we had our own private beach.
The house decor was dated, but we expected this from the pictures on-line. It was well appointed with plenty of beach towels and toys for the beach as well.
The only issue was the main floor air conditioner failed part way through our trip. The manager was very responsive and accommodating, having 3 large portable units brought to the house to keep us cool until the repair could be completed.
We would stay at this house again!

We decided to rent a house this year and found this property which we thought was a perfect fit for our large growing family. Overall our stay was enjoyable but I will advise you DO NOT use the grill on the porch!!! My son went to light it and it literally blew up on him burning off all his arm hair on his right arm. We let the rental company know and they didn't seem concerned. During our stay we had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the house, we told her about the grill and she was horrified.
The house appeared clean upon checking in but finding legos in the sheets wasn't something we were expecting. Socks in the sofa, trash on the porch and ants in the bathrooms as well as bugs in the upstairs bedrooms. You would think for what we paid for the week that the sliding doors and blinds would work but they didn't. The property needs repairs and an overall deep cleaning, especially for what they charge !!!

Multi-generation Family Vacation
By far the best part of this house is the location! The gently sloping path takes you from the back door to a pristine "public" beach. While other people did pass by, and there are public beach access stairs, we were usually the only ones near the house. It felt private, safe, and quiet. The house also came stocked with tons of sand toys, beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards, as well as fishing equipment.
The house itself was lovely. Clean, inviting, and spacious. We had three adult couples and a family of 3 and everyone had their own private space. (We did pull one of the mattresses off the bunk beds and place it on the floor of the master bedroom for the 4yr old - and there was still plenty of floor space in the room!) The open first floor made gathering, cooking, and enjoying meals together so comfortable. Plus, there is an upper level deck with access through the two upstairs rooms, as well as a screen porch with a hot tub on the main level. I especially liked that the bedrooms were spread out enough that the adults could sleep in while the preschooler played in the living room or on the porch.
Vacasa was wonderful in keeping us updated and responding when we had questions. The hot tub wasn't working when we arrived, and within hours they had a technician on site and had fixed the problem.
The house was built in the 90s, and while it's been updated, it's certainly not state-of-the-art. But everything felt clean, comfortable, and inviting. We all loved our stay and are looking forward to going back.

3 stars for location
The location of the house was awesome! We ultimately decided to stay an extra day, however... the condition of the house was shabby at best. Door handles and latches were missing, broken or loose. The window blinds were dirty and damaged. The furniture was stained and moldy. The ice maker did not work. The sauna did not work. The hot tub was quite filthy. It did not appear to be safe to use. There were other house keeping issues. I started contacting VRBO and Vacasa as soon as we checked in (primarily to get the hot tub cleaned drained and refilled so it would be usable). The local property manager was responsive, and tried hard to fix the hot tub situation but ultimately, it was late Thursday afternoon before it got completed. Then, only a quarter of the jets functioned, and it seemed to lose water. I had to refill it everyday for the last three days we were there. It was sad to witness a property with so much potential that was so badly neglected.

Perfect vacation
We have taken many beach vacations and always rent a beach front house in or around Gulf Shores but that fell through this year. This was our first time to cocoa beach. The house was amazing, as wonderful as the pictures. Everything worked perfectly. The beach was right outside the back door. There were lots of beach toys, boogie boards, and one really great thing were the beach chairs. We brought a “sun ninja” tent in our luggage and really recommend it. Cocoa Beach has more of a small town feel than Gulf Shores, we loved it. The house was clean, kitchen decently stocked (we cook a lot), and even had a large ice pack in the freezer for our cooler. Highly recommend this house!

Pictures need updated!!!🤢😩
No instructions for opening up house. Nasty!!! Everything was filthy!! Hairs all over showers and beds and bathroom. Kitchen was gross, dirty counters, dirty everything, grease all over. Rust coming out of fridge. Couches and chairs were dirty brown with nasty stains all over. Could not open or close any of the back doors they are rusted and broken. Hot tub was green and stunk like rotten feet. Garage was filled with trash!!!!
