Clear instructions. Private, comfortable. Thanks for the stay. Very tidy well kept space. Calming casual artwork.
No kitchen sink. Just the bathroom sink which wasn't deep enough to refill my water bottle.. however not really an issue as staying just one night and used a cup to gradually fill it.

Close to beach loved the hot shower continental breakfast provided bed was soft and pillows fluffy. Thoughtful touches by the owner i.e warm unit, juice in fridge, decent sized milk in fridge, fruit, chocolate etc.
4.7
Breakfast was included. Free on site parking.
Garden balcony, separate entrance.
Can’t make any suggestions to
Improve this property.

Excellent continental breakfast with items meant to be cold kept in the fridge.
Place was hard to find.

Great breakfast. Well stocked fridge. Comfy bed. Nice toilet paper and shower toiletries. Room service was a nice bonus. Lovely host.
Squeaky floorboards, and also the bathroom door would benefit from crc on the hinges (so an easy fix). Also rubbish bin would benefit from crc on the hinge too.

This place was perfect for my one night stay in Gisborne. Close to the beach, private, super clean and fresh, with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was included. Everything you need for a 'hotel' stay. A lovely host + such good value for money.
If you don't like the idea of the owners being in the same building as you - though 100% completely separate - then it's not the place for you. Although it is completely private + you have your own entrance.

Breakfast covered all tastes with cereal, muesli, toast, with plenty of butter, spreads etc. Large fresh milk in fridge plus containers with fruit salad. A bonus was the bowl if fresh oranges & kiwifruit.
Motel very centrally located.
Suggested a non-slip mat for in the Shower (I found the base slippery after soap residue washed down).
Because of narrow stairs up to apartment this would not be suitable for the aged or infirm, so ask for a ground floor unit if this is the case.

The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was a great bonus. Also very quiet from road traffic.
There was a a lot of music from surrounding properties as expected on a weekend. You could also see light coming from down stair all night which made the room brighter at night.

Very good. Lots to eat for breakfast: coffee, tea, lots of milk,.toasts with butter and jam, cereals, fruit and, chocolate
Place was very clean and spacious, had both morning and evening sun. Best bathroom!..with separate toilet.
Cleaned daily with fresh towels
Nick, the host. was very friendly and helpful
the staircase to the unit: windy and narrow
Fan extractor and heater in bathroom would be helpful

Really clean, well-appointed room in a good location. It is situated on a busy high-way but the room is tucked away around the back and is nice and quiet.

Check in was 2pm, with a quick ph call to ask for check in earlier as we needed to get ready for a wedding, they accommodated us with an earlier check in to suit our needs. The breakfast selection of cereals was very nice , fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee to start our day was exactly what we needed. The staff were really nice, made them selfs available but not over bearing. We stayed in the King room and we will def be returning 😊
That our stay wasn't longer haha

The room was amazing. Big space with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom is also big and very clean. I cannot eat gluten and the staff bought gluten free bread and muesli for my breakfast, much appreciated. The terrace is fantastic for breakfast.
