About this house rental
This is a charming chalet with beautiful cherry wood ceilings accented with dark wood beams, a wood burning stove, butcher block island, full stand-by generator, new AC mini splits, and so much more.
It is in a great location for all seasons. In warmer months, we are 5 minutes to beautiful Ellacoya State Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee and 15 minutes to Weirs Beach & Boardwalk. In the winter months, we are only 5 minutes from Gunstock Mountain Resort that has skiing, snowboarding and more. Gunstock Mountain also is a fun spot in summer months, as it has an adventure park with ziplines, e-bike tours, segway tours, aerial treetop adventures, scenic lift rides, hiking, and the mountain Coaster. In the fall, you can view some of the most colorful foliage. Whatever the season, you are sure to find local activities to enjoy.

House was great for our group. Beds were very comfortable and location was close to everything. Would stay here again.

Place has everything you need but not clean at all.
It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. My daughters blanket had throw up on it. Clearly it wasn’t washed which made me questions the cleanliness of the other sheets. We had to wash the sheets as we got there because of the condition.
Very tough to get a night of sleep with the window units, they come on every 10 seconds loudly. if you are a light sleeper, you won’t be able to sleep. The place didn’t have any curb appeal. Lawn was overgrown which it wouldn’t have bothered me if the house was clean. The upstairs didn’t smell great either, old carpets. Anyway, cute little place but definitely not worth the money with the level of cleanliness. The least the other could have done was refunded the cleaning fee as I had to clean the bathroom myself before I could let my daughters use it. At least they had bleach available.

We had a great time staying here. The house is close to everything (lake, activities, and hiking).
Mount Major was a great hike and so was Gunstock/Rowe.

This house is the perfect location for a trip to Gunstock. It’s only 5 minutes to the mtn. The house is cozy and sleeps a crowd. I rented with my friend and both of our kids (6 kids total). They have plenty of the essentials but we especially enjoyed the games, smart tvs, coffee/espresso machines. All clean linens were provided and the bathrooms were tidy. I would definitely book this house again.

My friends and I had an awesome experience at this property. The house was clean and spacious, the check in and check out instructions were clearly communicated and easy to follow, and the hosts were very responsive. One day we had an issue with the wifi and they called us to help pretty much right after I sent them a message. Also, the fire pit in the yard was a huge plus, our group enjoyed spending time out there. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the surrounding area.

I'm so happy I rented this house for the perfect ski week at gunstock. I loved that this house was extremely clean. I'm a maniac and as soon as I get somewhere I pull back all the sheets on every single bed. Every mattress was immaculate, plus had a cover. The sheets were all white which which I like, along with the duvet cover and pillowcases. This really felt more like hotel bedding than someone's personal sheets which I truly appreciate. The kitchen was also spotless and the fridge/freezer was completely spotless which I really prefer, I don't need someone's old condiments. That said the kitchen was extremely well stocked with every pot/pan you could think of. We cooked every single meal here including lunch so I really took advantage.
We skied for the week at Gunstock and the weather wasn't great but I was so happy that we were only SIX minutes from the mountain; we were able to pop home for lunch every day and dry off our ski clothing in the utterly cavernous washer/dryer, which was amazing. Every room had its own thermostat; the heating worked great! I had a question for the host during our stay -- I could have texted but I emailed and she replied almost immediately.
All in all I highly recommend this house -- If we go back to gunstock I won't stay anywhere else! What a find!

We had the best time in this cute and cozy home! We also came at just the right time and got to enjoy the Santa Shuffle 15 minutes away in Laconia! We would absolutely stay here again as it was a perfect home to enjoy a weekend away with friends! 😊

We had a lovely time! the house is well equipped, located in a beautiful neighborhood - already feels like you are in a forest, and close to many hikes. We could hear the tree leaves rustling, could see the stars. The communication with property owners was very easy.

This is a very nice home with rustic charm. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and relaxing together on the sectional sofa. Plenty of towels for hot showers. Modern washer and dryer with laundry soap included! And a Keurig for the coffee lovers.

Location was great, 5 min from gunstock mountain. Only difficulty was initially knowing where the keypad is for the lock, as there is another lock on the side of the house which you see first. Contacted the host and got an answer immediately! Place was clean, had ample towels, and kitchen amenities needed to cook!

We had tickets for a concert at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion and wanted a place to stay that was close by. This one fit the bill perfectly. We arrived on Friday night and enjoyed a nice fire outside in the fire pit, took a walk around the lovely neighborhood Saturday morning, and made the quick trip to the venue in the evening. The property was cute, clean and exactly what we anticipated.

This home is very cozy and comfortable. The minute you walk in you feel llike you are home. Francis and Courtney are great hosts and very prompt getting in touch , if you were to have any issues. I would definitely stay there again . I highly recommend it

Great location from the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion where we saw the Foo Fighters and also Weirs Beach area. Very clean and also very relaxing house. Would definitely recommend staying at this house.

The house was very clean and was exactly what we expected. Nice spot but a little to rural a spot for our liking. Not a negative just a personal thing. Would be great for a stay if you were going to use the beaches but time of year didn’t work for that with us. Can’t complain though the place was great.

House was perfect for our quick getaway. Great location close to everything. Equipped with all the conveniences of home which made things much easier traveling with kids. Loved the coffee/espresso bar and the wood stove. Beds were very comfortable and all the games were a huge bonus. Definitely regret not booking a longer stay!

We had a terrific couple of days at Gunstock and enjoyed staying in a comfortable home so close to the mountain.
There was a power outage in the area the day before we got up there, but the owner reached out to let us know, which allowed us to weigh our options.
Fortunately, the power was restored later that day and we stuck to our plan, traveling up from NJ to enjoy the snow.
Everything was perfect and it was all thanks to our hosts!

What a great getaway! The house is awesome! We enjoyed the surprise "glow" at night! We had a campfire one night but it got cut short due to rain. We left some extra firewood for the next guests.
We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay, the house is a good size and was very clean. All you’ll need for pots and pans and the beds were very comfortable. Francis was also very easy to deal with! 10/10!!

We had a great time. The property was everything we expected from the description. All the amenities we needed in a cozy spot. We had both adults and children and had no problems managing around the house. Nice space, plenty of parking and just a short ride to beach, restaurants, and drive in. Would rent again. Owner is very accommodating and if you have questions he responds quickly.

Thank you for providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable vacation home for my family. The location was perfect! Everything we wanted to do was 10-15 minutes away tops. The bedding was comfortable for everyone, and we especially enjoyed the fire pit at night, roasting marshmallows with my soon to be 3-year-old Grandson.

House was perfect for a multi-week, end of winter stay for our family of 5. Ideal access to Gunstock and Mt Belknap.

"Wow!" That was all the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) could say when we walked into this awesome property. It felt like a 5-star hotel but with the privacy of our own home. Very well kept, lots of updates, immaculate! Everything we needed was there--we only needed to bring clothes, food and ski/snowboard gear. Even the driveway was plowed during a snowstorm! There were lots of thoughtful 'little things' (candy, cookies, tons of info about local sights/restaurants, etc) that really made the stay extra special. The hosts are phenomenal and communication was seamless. Gunstock is only minutes away and the views when driving around town are beautiful. Can't wait for another trip here!!
