Absolutely beautiful home. Has literally everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We were treated to a lovely little welcome pack and the host was very responsive and accommodating, nothing too much trouble. It really is a fantastic house in a quiet location with an easy walk into town.
Nothing.

Very comfortable house near the centre of Dumfries. William is a great host who provides all the information you need and is always available to be contacted if need be. The house had everything we needed for a great stay in Dumfries. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with a nice welcome pack too. The walk into town past Queen of the South's football ground and across a lovely old bridge over the river Nith (where we watched salmon leaping) took about 20 minutes. We found good pubs and restaurants to visit and some good walking both in and around the town.

Clean, well decorated and comfortable beds.
The step just outside the bathroom. My elderly mother really struggled. Not sure if access is mentioned in property description. If it is, I apologise for not reading it thoroughly.
Kitchen microwave not great and oven needs cleaning.

Everything. Helpful host who responds promptly to enquires and a stunning home from home. Lovely touches such as a welcome pack ( including prosecco and sweets), fluffy towels, amazingly comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Toiletries are included ( and smell beautiful) and there is no need to shop on route as milk, tea, coffee etc are supplied. Outside there is a pretty courtyard garden with ample seating and a bbq. Hard to imagine a nicer place to stay 🙂
One very tiny request would be an anti slip mat for the shower but otherwise there was nothing we could fault

Everything. Great location, elegant comfortable home with everything provided, including a few little extras. Wonderful host, luxurious home. Highly recommended.
Cannot fault it.

Lovely house, with character and comfort. Good welcome pack. Small but ideal practical garden. We came for a family wedding in Dumfries so location was ideal. Also lots to do in and around the area. The sea, castles and hills all within a short distance.

On arrival at the house we could immediately see that this was going to be a relaxing stay. It has a very clean, stylish décor and also cosy feel with the soft furnishings adding a touch of luxury. Attention to detail was everywhere and we really appreciated the welcome pack of tasty biscuits, crisps, beer and a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge. Providing fresh coffee was also much appreciated. We hope to stay longer next time we visit Dumfries.

This property was great, it was well furnished and provided an ideal base for our visit. The lounge was a perfect to relax in and the kitchen diner was a nice place to sit and eat and share a pre dinner drink, a real home from home. We only used one bedroom but it was a good size with a nice comfy bed and crisp linen. The property has a lovely garden area that we would have loved to use, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow this, perhaps we will be luckier next time. William, the owner, was very helpful when we couldn't get the Sky box to work and had no problem popping round to help us.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a quiet neighbourhood. Perfect location for Dumfries Ice Bowl. Property was warm, beds were comfortable, shower in bathroom had decent pressure, and kitchen had several staples such as tea, coffee, oils and seasoning available so saved overstocking at Tescos! On street parking right outside the property,
only negative was the bunk beds in bedroom 3. length of one of our guests meant a decamp to the lounge with the mattress.

lovely little house very close to ice bowl and Dumfries city centre.

The rooms were nicely decorated, the beds comfortable and the sittingroom had a large TV and cosy seating.
No curtains on the bedroom windows just blinds. I like my bedroom to be pitch black in order to sleep, luckily it was winter or it could have been a bigger problem.

The property is beautifully looked after with modern decor and comfortable setting.
I would be nitpicking, but we wish it had a dishwasher and the bathroom could do with an extractor fan.

The house is ideally located for using the local ice rink as we were up in Dumfries for a competition.
William is a superb host and the welcome packs and soup were excellent. House is very clean with everything you need for your stay.

Absolutely nothing, the place was just what we needed

I loved the house, a great place.
The impeccable cleanliness, and everything very well decorated, it looked like I was at my house.
I went to make some bread and the fire alarm rang, I’ll never get used to these things in the kitchen. If you go cook, smoke will come out. I was scared to cooking later lol …and I felt very cold at night, the kitchen was hot, but my room was very cold. Only these two points

William who is the host of the property was excellent in answering any enquiries prior and during our stay. The property is a gem for Dumfries, we liked everything about the property from the high standard of decor, luxurious furnishings and personal touches such as the welcome treats.
We have stayed in another property in Dumfries and several around Sandyhills and in all honesty Number 3 was the top.
