About this apartment rental
Summary:
This corner apartment is in a perfect location with panoramic city views in multiple directions. With over 1,200 square feet of space, tall ceilings, and oversized windows, this spacious unit is a true escape in the sky in the heart of downtown Chicago. It's a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with an additional sofa bed, ideal for families, business travelers, or couples traveling together. The building has a pool and an amazing outdoor rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of the skyline and lake.
The Space:
Located in a secure, high-end building in the center of Chicago! Once inside, you're greeted by a light-filled apartment with windows on every wall. The views during the day are fantastic - but it's even more magical at night! Right out the window, you'll see a unique scene of diverse and historic Chicago architecture with the bustling city below.
Everything is top of line and interior design is a passion of ours - so the furnishing of the unit reflects that! There is fast internet, a smart TV with Roku, and comfortable modern furniture to lounge on.
The kitchen and living room are open. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and all the tools you need to cook a great meal. We have a 2-person bistro dining table and 4 counter stools for the granite kitchen island. Plenty of room for all guests to dine comfortably or to use as a workspace.
For each guest, the comfortable beds have crisp, clean linens and the bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and bath products. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Living Room: Queen sleeper sofa
We also provide towels, detergent, iron, etc. and you have full access to the in-unit washer and dryer!
The building has a 24 hour doorman and great amenities including a movie theater, gym, outdoor pool, rooftop "sky lounge" with grilling stations, and a year-round rooftop terrace with sun beds and lounge seating as well as an indoor area that can be enjoyed during colder weather. The panoramic city and lake views from the rooftop are truly awesome!
Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the apartment as well as full access to all of the building's amenities.
The Neighborhood:
The Loop is the heart of Chicago and the most central location in the entire city! You are surrounded by world-class architecture, shopping, theaters, parks, and other sites. The Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Soldier Field are just a 5 minute ride. Oak Street for luxury shopping and the West Loop restaurant row for world class dining are only 5 minutes away as well!
Getting Around:
Our place is surrounded by trains and buses that will take you anywhere in the city you want to go! Uber and Lyft is also available 24/7. You'll have no trouble getting around without a car.
Parking is not included with our listing, but there are many nearby parking garages close to our building (including directly across the street). We also suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book discounted parking. You can usually find reasonable overnight parking for $15 to $25.
Other Things to Note:

Great location! Very clean and the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond! There is a grocery nearby where we stocked up on breakfast food and snacks. The pool and rooftop area was a great spot to hang out in the afternoons. Would definitely stay here again!

We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Chicago! The apartment is guarded by a front desk bell hop 24/7, and you can’t enter the elevators without a key fob. The apartment building was quiet and felt safe. You’re one block from Michigan Ave, with plenty of places to eat and shop. The owners answered concerns and questions quickly. Expect train, traffic and emergency vehicle noise at all hours. But the bedrooms are equipped with white noise machines and ear plugs. We got used to it and slept great despite the noise. Thank you for an excellent stay!

All excellent except for one issue. The shower doors need to be fixed as they are not secure and could come loose or fall. Also, the shower has no shelf for storing the bottles of soap and shampoo.

We had a really great stay and enjoyed having a two bedroom, two bath unit with kitchen washer dryer all the amenities in the heart of downtown Chicago close to everything restaurants & theater district. Our host was great at getting back. The thermostat wasn’t working correctly, but we got the issue resolved quickly.

Great location and a perfect layout for a family of four.

Perfect location for our girls’ getaway weekend!! Property was perfect for our needs!

This apartment is nicely located in the Loop district of Chicago. Many attractions are within walking distance. We had a great time.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It's clean, nicely decorated and the location is perfect. It's lacking a few things like towel hangers or hooks of any kind, and a bench in the front hall for taking shoes off/on would be great -- but 5 stars nonetheless.

Condo had great features, communication was great and staff onsite helpful.
4.8
This is a great place to see the city from. Not only are so many attractions and good restaurants near by and an easy walk or Uber ride but from the apartment you have a great view that never let's you forget you are in Chicago. The L is also extremely close that take you almost any place you want to go.

Great place! We loved our first trip to Chicago!

I chose this VRBO because it was reasonably priced, and located in the heart of downtown, right next to the L-Train, and only blocks from most of the major attractions we wanted to see. The apartment was clean, and well appointed. We had 4 teens with us, the two boys slept in the living room and the two girls slept in the second bedroom. If we needed anything quick, there is a 7-11 across the street and a Walgreens around the corner. Simple. Coming from San Antonio, we got to experience real city living, and this VRBO helped make it a positive one. We would stay here again! P.S. If you get here and need to keep your luggage secure while you do a tour or visit an attraction while you wait to check in, use the Bounce app. There's a location right across the street!

Property management very responsive!

The property was well equipped, although no tea towels were provided or basic essentials like coffee/ tea etc. The beds are small and uncomfortable.
The gym is very very run down with most of the equipment not working or broken.
The train noise was much much worse than we all anticipated and would stop us from staying here again.

We had 5 adults, one teen and one kiddo with plenty of space. 2 bathrooms was helpful. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and space for our extra blow up bed. Easy check in, and concierge was very friendly and helpful.

Easy check in and allowed us to get in a little early.

We were in Chicago for a few days on fall break. The location gave us easy access to Magnificent Mile and short walk to CTA locations. Apartment was as described. It was clean and had all linens we needed. The AC seemed to not work well. It was a little hot on the first day. Fans in the bedrooms helped. The L trains are nearby. It didn’t bother us but if light sleeper be advised. Thanks for a nice stay.

We were close to everything!

Great location. Spectacular views. Rooftop was great, too bad weather wasn’t cooperating. Would spend more time on rooftop. Bed linens were exceptional., however new mattress is needed for pullout sofa. Property owner helped quickly when we were locked out of bathroom. I would stay here again. Kitchen had everything necessary to prepare meals.

Wonderful place.
Comfortable place to stay. Centralized location, close to river walk. Only negative - someone smoking marijuana on same floor. Hallways and elevator wreaked of it.

Wonderful. In a great location. With outstanding views of the city.

We came with the family here to visit a kid in college. The apartment fits 6 people, with two sleeping on a pull out couch. The pictures and descriptions of the property are accurate. Most of the furniture appears to be new, bathrooms are renovated (although there is no place to put your toiletries other than the shower floor), and everything is spotlessly clean. But it is not luxurious; this is more mid range. It is in a good location with plenty of food options nearby. There were earplugs by the bedside, so I assume there was some noise, per the other reviews. However, we did not hear much other than the train occasionally and it was fine. We had some trouble with the heating which just seems to be blowing air out — would have been a bigger issue in winter.
However, the building itself is pretty dated (dark hallways) and not particularly well maintained. We went to the roof top area where there had been some kind of party previously, with garbage and cups left behind.
Overall, an ok experience and fits the bill for a mid-range option for a family visit.

Great rental in an excellent location with helpful and responsive hosts.
I had a great time at this rental property. The apartment was clean and in a great location. My only gripe was that they didn’t have a wine opener.
