We had a lovely stay in this nice, spacious and comfortable cottage. It has everything you need and more, and most of all, the views are amazing! The surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty to do. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely visit again

The cabin was comfortable with an absolutely beautiful view. The little town of Rathdrum and so many amazing sights in Wicklow were so conveniently close! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful, serene property in the gorgeous Wicklow mountains! We purposely chose to stay in the mountains towards the end of our 3 week visit to Ireland, figuring we could use the “down” time and that is exactly what we got. Other than a day tour to Kilkenny we stayed put, cooking locally bought foods (including a lovely Sunday roast beef with Yorkshire pudding), doing laundry, and enjoying the beautiful views and wildlife that paid us daily visits. The cabin is even bigger than it looks in the photos, master bed was so comfortable, bathrooms were modern and beautiful and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thanks Ron!

Location was lovely. Enjoyed the deck in the evening. The nearby town had everything we needed-groceries, take away, pub, restaurant…The nearby treetop walk was fantastic. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I was surprised that there were several cabins, close together but it was peaceful and quiet.

The views from this rental are absolutely stunning, and can be enjoyed from nearly every room, as well as the back deck. This is a perfect, 2-bedroom home base for touring Ireland. At night, we'd enjoy the comfortable chairs and streaming options on TV, and during the day we'd sight-see or listen to the valley river, cows, and birds from our back deck. It was my favorite location on our UK tour and I would gladly stay again.

Thank you. We had a nice visit.

Our second year staying in this home. Awesome views from deck amazing to sit and watch the birds of prey and other wild life.
As a family it’s the perfect base with so much to do and see in just a short car journey.
The home itself is fantastic very clean with everything you need.

The property situated among several lodges on the mountainside with glorious views and was very clean and well appointed. Would stay again.

The property was lovely. The views of the Wicklow mountains were amazing. The lodge was clean, well equipped and in a good location for visiting the area.

Rented the lodge for a week. Initially hard to find, but that was part of the attraction as it's set in a beautiful valley facing the mountains. More spacious and comfortable than it looked in the photos. The balcony is large and the best place to enjoy the peace and beauty of the location. It's the last in a run of lodges so you have all of the views and aren't overlooked. The kitchen has everything you need. Both bathrooms looked relatively new. There are about 10 steps down to the lodge that are well spaced and manageable for most. Ample parking for a couple of cars. About 5 to 10 minutes drive to Rathdrum, where there are enough shops to get what you need. Will definitely be booking again.

We absolutely loved the rental and the surrounding area but had a lot of issues with this property. Would have been nice to have more detailed instructions on how to operate things in the house. We couldn’t even figure out how to get out the back door. ( it was difficult) After many attempts we realized you had to push the handle down very hard and then it would slide open. Main bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush (that did get fixed after 2 messages), no hot water in the sink, shower didn’t work in the other bathroom, (they did message us that that is being replaced), couldn’t find instructions for washing machine (after digging around we did locate those), etc. We contacted the property manager about all the issues and she did come quite quickly but said she would check back and to our knowledge she never did. She might have and we weren’t there but there was no indication she had come by. So many wonderful things about this property. If there hadn’t been issues it would have gotten 5+ stars.

This place is absolutely unbelievable! When we first walked in and saw the view from the back deck we were completely blown away; it is gorgeous! The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Everything else about the place is also very nice. The bathrooms were very modern and upgraded. The kitchen had a large refrigerator and everything we needed to prepare our meals. It would have been nice if the master bed were bigger & the WiFi better, but other than those minor things, it was heaven on earth!

We love staying here, home away from home. Quiet retreat, peaceful views of the wicklow mountains.

Enjoyed watching the sheep from the deck. House was neat and clean. We never saw anyone else our whole week stay. Wife would have liked an electrical outlet in the bathroom. Grocery store was 15 minutes away

This property was way better than we could have imagined. The photos did not do it justice. It was clean, comfortable, and the view was incredible.

The property is well equipped, with stunning views over the valley. Great to have 2 en suite bedrooms, when staying as a group of friends. and the kitchen was fully stocked with sufficient utensils. Extremely clean, with fresh bedding and plenty of towels. Would be delighted to stay again.

Glenmalore pines was our last stop in our month long tour of Ireland and it was soooo relaxing. We transversed the Wicklow mountains and watched baby seals swimming around in the Atlantic near the Wicklow Lighthouse. Thank YOU Ron and Cathy for hosting us!

As usual the cabin was pristine. Views of the mountains and all the wild life were amazing. Would recommend 5 stars all day long.

Everything was as described. There were other cabins close by but the verandah (best feature of all because of sun and views) was not overlooked.
Only downside was next door's dogs which seemed to be left alone all day and some days barked almost constantly..

Relaxing and recharging week in Wicklow
Property was in a lovely location, very clean and with great views out to the mountains. The sunsets were lovely and the birds of prey impressive to watch. There are many interesting places to see locally, we particularly enjoyed Victor’s Way, a thought provoking and interesting exhibition.
