Cozy cottage with kitchen, living area with fireplace, bathroom and bedroom. Wonderful location in the countryside - very quiet. Very hospitable owners who had brought us an incredibly delicious breakfast right in the cottage (because we forgot to go shopping for the breakfast). We highly recommend.

Really lovely spot to stay in this region, would definitely be my first choice when revisiting. Always had a great nights sleep and the hosts are lovely. Recommended!

Very peaceful place.
The apartment was very small, though well equipped. The bed was too soft for us.

Wonderful location, so peaceful and quite but also very central to lots of wonderful places to visit. This is our second stay and we will def be back again. We bring our little dog every visit and he loves it there, gets on well with the owners dog Axil and we are able to leave him out for a little wander around the grounds. If you are looking for a relaxing stay and a little peace and quite then this is the place to stay.

Beautiful location and a gorgeous chalet to recharge in for a few days before the Christmas rush!
A real haven. We filled the house with lovely food and drinks and reconnected over the big dinner table in the kitchen! Enough room for everyone and the chalet had everything we needed!
Martin and Harriet are wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming and loads of local knowledge.
We had mild weather the nights we stayed and we could make use of the gorgeous patio and picnic table also. This would be a lovely stay anytime of the year!
we had no complaints!

We had a traditional Irish breakfast both mornings. It was very good, filling, and delivered to our door at a time of our choosing. I truly appreciated that.
The bedroom was a bit cramped. We had to put some of our luggage in the main room in order to open it.

Lovely quirky place in a peaceful location. Our cottage was quite small. Harriet was lovely and very helpful. We had a problem with the shower which we coped with so hopefully it will be resolved. Location convenient to the Wicklow mountains. A pleasant walk to the local pub.
Shower difficult to turn on.

Pleasant, quiet, peaceful, exactly what we needed. We briefly met Martin and daughter Joanne upon arrival. The gardens and special places to be still are abundant on the property. Axel the resident Lab was a pure joy to meet. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

setting lovely, outdoor seating & patio heater great, could have a bedroom each. Staff excellent.
no microwave, insufficient mirrors, no hanging space for clothes. Only one couch but photo showed two couches. Musty odour on entering chalet.

Everything was amazing. Martin and Harriet are extremely nice people. We are planning our next stay there to be even longer than the last one. The place is an amazing piece of heaven.
Nothing to be written here.

No breakfast. Countryside around there is stunning g. The locals are very friendly and would visit the area again.
No heating whatsoever on the first night so we were not comfortable. And scrambled to light a stove with one fire lighter! The property is not near shops which is fine and part of its charm but considering the owner knew we were arriving quite late at night after a delayed ferry crossing, a pint of milk in the fridge would have been something. There was no welcome basket of any sort. The property has been set up to maximise return with less regard for guests. We had to ask the owner to attend on D2 to fix the heating problem. Profuse apologies of course and it was fixed but no offer of compensation for the discomfort we suffered beyond the platitudes. It was also slightly irritating to read in the cottage literature that they charge 5euro per bag for logs for the burner after Day 1. We have never experienced this anywhere else. A good step would have been to provide a bag gratis after what happed (see above). The bathrooms did not feel spotless as one would expect. All in all a bit underwhelming.

very quaint and relaxed - really felt like you could switch off here
we love pets but my SIL isn’t great with animals. there was a lovely old dog and cat which she wasn’t too comfortable with. They are extremely friendly and welcoming but may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

As soon as you drive in you will feel the wonderful woodland atmosphere, huge 200 year old Trees , it was nice even on a dull Feb day!! It was an old Rectory and still has a peace about it, especially with the sanctuary area and hut, Great Chi!!
The lodge was really different, octogen shape which was much bigger on the inside than it looked at first glance and really comfortable with a log fire, perfect after a hard days work!! Good cooking set up, and a hot shower with plenty towels and bedclothes, which made for a very comfortable stay,

The house was lovely. Very comfy. The gardens are great. We had a lovely time and the kids and the dog really enjoyed the stay too. We were just sorry we didn't have a linger stay.
