I loved my weeklong stay here with my teenage daughter, her friend and our dog. The house was clean and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views of nature with all of the windows were amazing. The setup was perfect to allow the girls to have their own space downstairs, while I was able to relax quietly upstairs. The house was a little hard to find using Waze as it didn’t pick it up on the app, but it was literally the first house on the street. The property owner was excellent helping to guide us in, while checking on us through out our stay. Really enjoyed the property and our stay. I highly recommend it and will be back

Great location and a lot of activities on the resort

The house was clean and quiet. I would suggest some blackout curtains. I didn't feel comfortable getting dressed there. Also at night the lights come thru. Maybe a thicker throw blanket for the downstairs area is drafty compared to the upper floor. Maybe update appliances. Waffle naker, Keurig, Air Fryer and equal amounts of dishes downstairs in the kitchen are.

This is a great property in a good location. Had very adequate kitchen utensils , toiletries , etc. it was clean and the televisions worked well. Wifi was in and out. The only down side is the main entrance is from the ground floor and up a spiral staircase. The back entrance is through up hill steps. If you are an older person like myself , I suggest finding a property that has an entrance on the main level.

property had everything you need to have a great stay. each room had a jet tub and full bathroom. Kitchen had everything you need to have a meal. The house was clean and everything worked. Took a few minutes to figure out TV's but worked well when I got them going. I highly recommend this property.

The layout and location are great and we really enjoyed our stay. A few suggestions that would be easy to do but be a big help to people who stay there...the bed linens are very thin and there's just one additional think blanket in the closet so an additional blanket for each bed would really be nice. As I saw in a previous review, there were salt and pepper shakers on the table but they were completely empty. This would be such an easy fix but super helpful. There were no instructions or information in the house about anything. We had to reach out about the internet and TVs as well as check-out instructions. They were responsive but a simple instructions notice would have made it easier. The outside light at the top of the driveway wasn't working and it's very dark outside. Again, the place was great and I would recommend it. Just some simple things to suggest that would make it even better.

My family loved out stay at The Looking Glass. It was clean, comfortable and very close to all of our mountain activities. The foosball table was a bit hit! We would happily stay here again.

This had all the amenities you could want, a great view, and big spacious rooms. The house had everything you could need on an away trip and killer internet as well! I will definitely be back in the future, now I don't even need to decide where to stay on future trips, this is the spot!!!

Layout worked well for our family of 4. Basically two separate units so our older kids enjoyed having the downstairs mostly to themselves. Had trouble getting WiFi connected and DVD player does not work. Has starter coffee but not filters.

The property was a nice location for a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and will managed. I will recommend this property to someone else.

We reserved this home for a 4 day getaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I felt like I was in my own treehouse on the second level, while the first floor was perfect as a mother-in-law suite for a senior family member, who did not want to tackle the spiral staircase. If you are looking for a quiet residential neighborhood and don't have issues with climbing stairs, this is a great place to be. This house has lots of windows that allow plenty of sunlight, which I loved. It was bright, clean and immaculate. I especially enjoyed watching deers from the windows.

Massanutten resort was an amazing place for a long weekend. The house was nicely situated and clean, but the space just felt awkward. The layout felt like it was 2 hotel/condos with a spiral staircase connecting them. The furniture was not comfortable and never made us feel homey. Maybe it was the empty salt and pepper shakers, or the fake fireplace that doesn’t produce heat. I enjoyed the jacuzzi, however it was so in the open in my bedroom and felt completely exposed. The 2 jacuzzis had different mechanisms for turning on and it took us way too long to figure out how to turn on the upstairs one (it’s the logo tag…doubles as the on button). Also the upstairs toilet clogged with almost every flush. Thankfully we had a plunger. The key is to hold the flush for a looong time. Also my husband had to find a lightbulb and replace the porch light. With all that said, loved the resort and location, but next time I’ll look for a vrbo that is also someone’s second home. Those always feel more homey than those who I believe are run by a company.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice, and Massanutten is a beautiful location. We did have to call on our first day about the wifi not working, but it was taken care of quickly. We would definitely stay again.

Generally enjoyed our stay. Nice place as described.
Few things to note:
- the bigger space is upstairs there is a spiral staircase inside and easier staircase outside.
- beds were pretty firm but not to firm comfortable for sleeping.
-the upstairs has two triangle windows that let light in we needed sleep masks because of the light
-the upstairs master has a sliding barn door no lock but that floor does have a door you can lock but it removes access to the upstairs living area and living room.
-gps had a hard time as well as things like DoorDash.
- kitchen doesn’t have salt and pepper there isn’t a basic pantry
- upstairs tub Jets, we couldn’t figure out how to turn on reached out and didn’t get a response.
- hammock is in need of some attention.
- there is a place to check in to get passes to the resort pool areas.
-check out is a little frustrating. Rules weren’t posted for check out they want trash dumped to larger trash can outside. No loose bags, If you have more trash you need to take it to the dumpster not hard to find but didn’t give directions. Couldn’t find trash bags so we ended up taking the whole trash can with us to dump it :/
-they wanted a load of towels started but didn’t see the detergent so we had to make a trip to the store for detergent. I don’t mind starting towels but would be nice to have things needed for laundry with the washer and dryer. Detergent was under kitchen sink.

Had never heard of Massenutten prior to this trip! What a wonderful house with the great amenities of the resort! The area is beautiful! I have never stayed in a cleaner home than this one!

This is a great place to stay on the resort, very close to the sky slopes and tubing. Very clean and modern furnishings. My only comments (can't even call them complaints) would be that the curtains on the bottom floor need to be just a hair wider to cover the entire windows, and there really are not any additional supplies you might need, esp in the kitchen. Often you will find salt, pepper, etc for use. Not a problem as long as you remember to bring your own!

We would definitely stay here again. Here are the pros—Cleanliness: Everything was incredibly clean, I would say cleaner than many non-pet-friendly places we’ve stayed. Tubs were in great shape, we didn’t have any hesitation about utilizing jet tubs in bedrooms. Even the bbq grill was clean.
Comfort: Plenty of places to sit and relax, comfy couches and chairs on both floors. Mattresses and provided pillows were supportive not too firm or too soft. We slept very well.
Amenities: House had everything we needed with some small exceptions(see cons), the game room setup downstairs was a great place to hang out in the evenings. Resort amenities were wonderful. We especially loved the petting farm, highly recommend if you are traveling with little ones who like animals or is something fun to do if adults enjoy petting sheep and goats :)
Here are the cons, but there aren’t many—
No spices/salt/pepper: One of the great things about VRBO homes is that you can usually find salt pepper and maybe some other spices or cooking oil in the kitchen. This kitchen is very well organized and nicely stocked but it’s clear anything left behind is tossed. Accentuated by the empty salt and pepper shakers nicely arranged on dining table. Not a big deal but come prepared! Dish soap, sponge, dishwasher tabs, trash bags and paper towels are provided with enough to last a long weekend, maybe even a full week.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would love to go back in summer!

This cabin did not disappoint! Clean and spacious with multiple large TV's and windows. We loved the foosball table which added extra entertainment during downtime. We had a delay on check-in because the cleaning crew was still there but TripForth was quick in addressing the situation. I would book again!

Property was clean and as advertised. Loved how close it was to everything and how well it worked for the family! Plenty of space to hang out together, but room to get away if needed.

The house was clean and lovely. The large windows in the front & back made it easy to see lots of deer and fall color. The king-sized beds & jacuzzis were awesome! The Massanutten Resort had lots to offer too. We definitely recommend staying here.

Overall, a nice property in a good location. Amenities were all very nice, including the tubs, deck, and both living rooms.
Only small peccadilloes to report:
1) The property is essentially two units, which makes the layout seem a bit odd if you aren’t expecting it. It turned out well for us; since each family could have their own space.
2) Kitchen appliances were fine enough, but there was no salt, oil, or really anything minor that would be annoying to bring/buy in full.

Loved everything except that I could not sleep. There is an animal living in the roof that walk al night and is very noisy

Great communication and very responsive!! Highly recommend! :)

Beautiful house
The house is gorgeous. Completely new furnishings. Very clean. Location is excellent with a great view. Highly recommend. We had trouble with the door code and had to call property manager but wasn’t a big problem. No ice maker but there is ice at the local general store. Loved the houses

Excellent Pet Friendly Massanutten Vacation House
Beautiful house and location right in the heart of the Massanutten resort. Great views, comfy furniture, and a foosball table for extra fun.
Had a minor issue where the key code to get into the house was wrong, but a quick call to property manager fixed that in under 5 minutes so not a problem at all. WiFi login info was also wrong but luckily listed on the router so we solved that ourselves. Front door doesn’t stay closed unless it is locked.
Overall an excellent place to stay and we hope to come back again soon.

Excellent location near slopes
Beautiful property, well laid out. Pet friendly. 2 kitchens - one up and one down. Very close to slopes. Had a small issue with the door lock that was resolved quickly. Foosball table is super fun!

Looking glass stay
The Looking glass is very clean, looks just like the pictures. One thing I can say is the upstairs lights in the bath room on the mirror we’re out needing to be replaced. Over all everything else was 100% fine looking forward to come back !
