We loved the property and convenience. Unit itself left a lot to be desired- dishwasher often didn’t get things clean so we were washing dirty dishes out of the cabinets. Dryer took multiple cycles to dry, and the ice wouldn’t dispense. WiFi info was incorrect but Vacasa provided support quickly and efficiently.

Nice ocean view from the large deck. Comfortable place to stay. Some irritating things: blender old/very loud and won’t blend ice. No hair dryer. Sliding glass door and screen very difficult to open and close. WiFi info wrong at check-in. Had to use info on bottom of modem. No condiments or any food items - usually units at least have salt and pepper.

We were given the wrong door code so the problems started then. The WiFi information was incorrect, the bathroom sink was clogged, the living room furniture and kitchen chairs were filthy. There were only 4 butter knives, no pot holders, no pizza cutter and the kitchen was poorly stocked. The towel racks were not attached. They fell off the wall. I had to unload the dishwasher and the dryer. The shutters were off track. We have stayed at Beach Colony many times and have never experienced anything like this. A repairman showed up the day before we left but only to put towel bars back on the wall and fix the shutters.

The condo is clean , updated and location is wonderful. We walked to restaurant and shops ; very convenient to Publix. And location is away from traffic . We would stay there again for sure !

Perdido Key beach is beach is beautiful however too far from restaurants in Orange Beach. Condo was ok, but wifi info given from Vacasa was incorrect and took a day for host to get the correct info to us. Vacasa customer service people were rude. They hung up on me 3 times. Living room furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. Will be staying in Orange Beach from now on.

The location was beautiful. However, the check in process was a nightmare, as we arrived later in the evening(about 9pm) due to traffic jams and there was no one on duty in the guard booth to help direct us on where to go. So I had to go to each building one by one to figure out which one we were in, luckily with the help of others that were staying there, I was able to figure it out after about 30 minutes. Called Vacasa for assistance, but was put on hold for several minute's. Once we were in the home, getting connected to the WiFi was a chore and then it kept going in and out the whole time we were there. There were several stains on the couch, dining chairs, & in second bedroom. And the sliding glass doors were so hard to open, I even got stuck out on the balcony at one point cause I wasn’t strong enough to pull it open and had to wait on my husband to return from the store to let me back in. But I will say, the tub with the ocean view was incredible and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfy and the kitchen was nice as well. But I wouldn’t book this property again, just due to all the issues we had while we were there. When I pay this much for a rental, I don’t expect the stay to be perfect. But I do expect it to be up to par on the basic things, which this place was not. I honestly feel like I wasted my family’s vacation money by booking this place. I stayed stressed out the whole trip just due to the “little” hiccups, which really defeats the point of a vacation.

The condo was nice and clean. Would recommend for an family with teenagers but not young kids. We will probably stay in another unit next time. The shutters on the window are not on the track and make it hard to open and close them to have access to the balcony. There was no hair dryer, hangers, or ironing board in the condo which all are items you expect to be standard in a vacation rental. Also the china cabniet is not anchored to the wall which makes me nervous since we stayed with our young children.

This condo is in a great location and the beach is lovely (even in the winter). The unit is well appointed and it was particularly nice to be able to do laundry while on vacation. That said, I think the living room chairs, sofa, and accent pillows need to be professionally cleaned. They’re good quality pieces, but they’ve been used quite a bit. Everything else about our stay — linens, kitchen appliances and dishes, general level of cleanliness, check-in/check-out process — was excellent.

Large master bedroom with a spacious en suite, along with a generous second bedroom and nice guest bath. A fully-appointed kitchen with newer appliances.
While there was construction on the property during our stay, well-insulated walls meant that the noise was not too disruptive.
And I cannot say too much about the views. Gorgeous views of the Gulf, and you can see the sunrise while sitting on the balcony - what a great way to start the day!

We loved the location and accommodations in the apartment.
We had easy access to the beautiful beach, a pool, gym. It is close to restaurants, grocery store & shops. The only downside was the mini blinds in the master bathroom. They were not adjustable and were open to the point that someone could see inside the bathroom. I like more privacy than that.

We have stayed at this unit twice now, mainly for the tremendous views. We did not have any major issues. The cleanliness was up to par. However, the couch had stains and the outside furniture cushions are in need of replacing. The condo was clean but the furniture needs either replacing or deep cleaning due to the use it receives.

We heard from Vacasa around noon on the day we were driving to Florida. They sent a code “for the condo”. That was all we heard all day. When we (arrived 5:30 pm) we found out that this is a gated property so we assumed we had been sent the gate code. We had. The WRONG code. We got in by following a car that had the correct code. We loaded up our cart only to find that we needed a code for the ELEVATOR. Texted Vacasa for code. Still had NO code to get in the condo. While waiting for an answer ( from a guy in India I believe-very stilted English) I contacted a local real estate management company and told them my predicament. They kindly gave me the code. When I finally heard back from Vacasa (while we were waiting OUTSIDE the condo) we got the codes we were supposed to have been sent that morning. Never again Vacasa/VRBO.

Just BOOK it!
This condo was absolutely amazing!!! Wonderful location. Gorgeous views. The condo was SO spacious and inviting and clean. Kitchen was beautiful with very nice appliances. Dining room with tons of room to spread out. The couch and the chairs were pretty, not the most comfortable, but well maintained. The decor was very bright and beautiful. The shutters were a very elegant touch. The master bathroom.... I mean, WOW! The tub overlooking the ocean is fabulous. Even ocean views from the shower. If you want/need privacy, they do have blinds in the bathroom but there is not a direct adjacent balcony. Speaking of the balcony- it is perfect! The lounge chairs were so comfy and there is a high top table for food/snacks. The hurricane doors are an amazing upgrade. We were able to black out the bedroom so that we weren't woke up at the crack of dawn when we wanted to sleep in. The door on the side of the patio was great to put down to block the sun from beating in on the lounge chairs. I really can't say enough good things about this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used the washer and dryer and they had an iron also which was nice. Plenty of towels and washcloths. Master bed was comfy- not my home bed of coarse, but very nice. Secondary bedroom and bathroom was a nice size as well. Only two things I will say for feedback are considering a fan on the patio and a swifter wet for the floors (floor was definitely cleaner than most but had some opportunities to be a bit cleaner). Also, at check in, it was a little confusing as we got an email with all the instructions on getting to the destination, in the gate, elevator codes, wifi codes, etc. but not a door code. That code was suppose to come at 4 pm check-in time (I guess) and we didn't get it so I had to call vacasa but they were very helpful and got us in right away! I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back myself one day! (Also, if you stay here, I highly recommend the Jellyfish Restaurant just across the street- it was SO good! We had sushi twice and entrees once and enjoyed everything we ordered!)

Beautiful condo.. would have been perfect
The condo is immaculate and beautiful. Very spacious with amazing gulf view. However, we were extremely disappointed that all of the outdoor pools were closed for construction without any notice given. To be on a week long trip with small kids who need a break from only beach was hard. Another issue we had was that you need to use a physical key from a lockbox to get in, rather than the electronic keypad on the door. We locked ourselves out the first night (our fault) by leaving the key inside and the door shut. But the problem was that there is NO way to contact the owner or property manager so Vacasa had to find the builders override code for the electric keypad, and it took nearly 3 hours. Everything else was perfect

Beautiful Condo with Amazing View!
This condo was every bit as beautiful as pictured. Professionally decorated with the most sublime pale turquoise walls. The balcony has the most comfortable furniture and most fantastic view of the ocean. I could literally live here! So sorry to have to go home! I hope to be back again soon!

The only regret I have is that it was too short! 😊
The accommodations were spotless and welcoming. Vacasa checked on us from start to finish to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We are already talking about a return trip and longer this time! Thank you so very much for everything!

Perfect getaway!
Check in was very easy and the property was clean. Fabulous views from the balcony and easy access to the beautiful beach. The description lists 2 double beds and 1 king bed, but there’s actually an additional sofa bed in the living area! This was a great surprise for us so we could spread out a little more. Can’t wait to go again.

Great Stay!
The place was very nice and perfect for our stay! We had no complaints—only a suggestion for a cooler in the place! The view from the master bathroom (and of course balcony) were absolutely phenomenal, personally, we thought the added blinds were nice but not needed!

The only good or positive about this place is the view but other than that I will never go back to this place hard to be able to get wifi its not listed on instructions you have to figure out on your own Also no blinds on the main bathroom we were not able to use the bathroom at all everyone could see you please think twice or ask Vacasa if this issue was fix before you get this place I made a big mistake not reading reviews and now I regret Thank you

The unit was tastefully decorated, large, and had an amazing view of the ocean! There was no iron in the unit, but pretty much everything else we needed was available. The unit could have been cleaned a little better as there were hairs in the tub and on the bathroom counter and floor.
The resort itself was great. Great beach access, nice pool, and convenient outdoor restrooms. My only complaint is there is no Air conditioning in the elevators. Everything else was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Condo
The condo is spacious and beautiful. The balcony was huge! The only downfall was you had to have a key instead of a code to get into the unit, and the master bathroom needs curtains on the windows. We were only able to shower during the day without lights on or else people could see in. The view was great!
