We were back in Detroit on the weekend for a Lions game and booked with Sonder once again. The property was very clean, staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. We were walking distance to everything you’d want to see downtown Detroit. Everyone enjoyed their stay and the price was definitely fair. We definitely recommend Sonder properties and we stay with them often!

For my son’s 18th birthday, he wanted to go to a concert. This was a great location, very clean and very low maintenance. It was perfect for what we needed.

Our only issues with this stay is we weren’t told the mobile key wouldn’t work on the front door of the building. The Building Code we were provided wouldn’t and never worked. Fortunately upon arrival after a lot days travel day from California the security guard inside saw us struggling with building access and afforded us access. Also there was absolutely no water pressure which made showering difficult.

Great location. Nice unit with a nice view. We had some small issues with how it was maintained. Sink was clogged, toilet paper holder and towel holders kept falling out of the wall, and bedside lamps didn’t work in both bedrooms.

The property was well kept inside and outside. The apartment was perfectly sized. Just a couple of small things in the bathroom. A dirty spot in one of the corners near the shower and a lack of towel bars. Having only one towel bar in the bathroom when the apartment sleeps up to six isn’t enough. A couple of towel hooks in the bedrooms would help with that. Also there were no dressers or drawers in the bedrooms. If I were to stay more than two days, I would like to have drawers to put socks, underwear and pajamas in.

We stayed at the Sonder Gabriel Richard building and the property is beautiful. We are Lions season ticket holders from Canada and stay in Detroit often during the football season. Sonder properties are always outstanding and the Gabriel Richard building is no different. Very clean, spacious and walking distance to everything you’d want downtown Detroit. The Sonder team are very helpful and responsive when you have questions or concerns. I highly recommend staying at any of the Sonder properties, they are a top shelf group who care about their renters for sure. 5 stars all day, every day. Thank you Sonder team for a wonderful weekend, we will be back for sure! Ryan

The property was in a great location, and had everything we needed. Great view from the room, easy access and entry, very good size and very comfortable. Bedside tables, sheets, and inside the drawers were a little dirty. The coat hooks and toilet paper holder were falling off the wall, and it was pretty noisy on Friday night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend to others.

For the price you pay it's a wonderful modern industrial setting,in a tremendous location 5-10 minutes from everything. Clean location easy to access in and out of the entrance. Lots of food close by . Would definitely recommend

Overall great downtown location but property entrance, hallway and elevators could be better maintained for a better inviting experience. All problems that occurred were taken care of amicably.
