Lovely and interesting (in a refreshing way) farm house, with modern amenities. Paula was a welcoming, yet non-intrusive, host. Would love to return!

We stayed at this home last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay here again on another family vacation to the North. It seems like a very special and cozy place that is a good fit for our family including our two small dogs. We especially like the small fenced area off the deck to quickly let the dogs out in the morning. It has comfortable beds and is located so close to town you can walk. We discovered this year you can walk away from town for miles on this same nice path. The kitchen is well stocked and the fridge even welcomed us with fresh eggs a small milk and a stick of butter 😊. We appreciate that Paula is easy to communicate with and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on future vacations to the New Paltz area.

We loved this unique and well-appointed house. It was homey and quiet with thoughtfully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Nearby access to the rail trail made for a serene 10-minute walk into New Paltz village. We’d definitely stay again.

We were attending a Saturday wedding in the area. The house was comfortable and roomy for a group of five adults. The location is convenient to downtown New Paltz. You can walk on the rail trail to the downtown area. It was very nice that the owner provided coffee/tea, milk and eggs for guests. The owner was responsive to any questions that we had about the property.

This is a beautiful house that is well equipped for cooking and hanging out. Great location.

Upon initial entering of the property, it appeared more updated and inviting than the pictures showed. The house was equipt with everything you would need in a house. The eggs and milk in the fridge, the coffee/tea station, pantry items and choice of shampoo, conditioner and body soap were a few nice touches and plenty of towels were provided. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. The dishes, linens and towels appeared clean but the house itself was only spot cleaned at best, it needed a good deep cleaning, something I was not planning to do on my trip but wound up doing in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom to feel more comfortable in the space for a few days; thankfully there were plenty of cleaning supplies. It also would have been nice if the grass in the backyard was mowed for our dog. Needless to say, I was a bit annoyed that I was charged a cleaning fee. The house is in a very convenient location; in walking distance to the town, walking trail and a 5 min. drive to SUNY New Paltz. Overall, it was a nice place.

We have nothing but great things to say about this beautiful farm house type home. Very clean with great attention to detail by the owner - little things like lots of soap, shampoo and towels (towels were amazing), lots of coffee, eggs, milk and fruit, silverware, etc. Unlike many homes you rent, this one felt like you were entering your own home. A unique home and property too, just so different. New Paltz can be a bit noisy near the college - this location is close enough to walk there, but very peaceful - a beautiful street, property and home. We will be back for sure and want to thank the owners for letting us stay at their amazing place!!

The property was in the perfect location for our weekend plans. We were only about 10 minutes away from the Gunks for outdoor climbing. Also, hiking trails were right down the street.
We were also within walking distance to the heart of New Paltz with access to restaurants, shops, and bars.
The house itself was as pictured. However, wasn't very clean. Many areas were dusty and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Beds weren't very comfortable but it was only a couple nights.
Overall the stay was fine since we weren't at the house most of the time. The location provided easy access to climbing, hiking, wineries, distilleries, restaurants and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It had everything we needed including comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the fridge was already stocked with several items like milk and eggs. We especially enjoyed the walk by the river that leads to town.

Homey place with fun yard art and lots of space! We were only two people but there was a ton of space for lots more. Bedrooms are all upstairs, which was a bit difficult for the older ppl if they have trouble with steps. Clean bathrooms and a quiet neighborhood. Thank you

The two of us really enjoyed our stay here! The house was well-stocked with toiletries, coffee, and other necessities. The best part for us was the location - it was just a 2-minute walk to the Rail Trail for a nice fall hike, and an easy 10-minute walk to the Water Street Market and downtown area - we could walk to dinner instead of driving. It was a great jumping off point to explore the area. Would definitely recommend.

We really liked the home as there is a lot of space to play for the kids and it’s Welles located nearby the trails and Main Street. We liked the small details like providing good coffee. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was ok and could of been better but overall we enjoyed our stay !

What a place and the homeowners are second to none that we ever deal with.
Property is clean and the home is very updated. The home is in a great location in the middle of all nature!! Trails and waterfalls. I highly recommend this but hate to because it might not be available when I need it!!! But honestly, best homeowners ever!!
