My husband and I stayed in this apartment for three nights and two days while we explored the beautiful outdoors of New Paltz. We enjoyed the place so much that we canceled a future reservation that we had at a different location and booked this one again! This apartment has everything that you need. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood in a convenient location close to town.

An absolutely wonderful stay! Beautiful and clean! Loved everything about this place. A welcome greeting from the owner to the little luxuries at this cosy, (but somehow spacious) apartment, made my stay! The grounds are beautiful. I loved looking out the French doors from the comfy couch or sitting at the little bistro table on the patio in the morning while enjoying my morning coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with Keurig, dishwasher, convection/toaster, microwave, electric oven and fridge, pots, pans, etc. The bathroom was beautiful and furnished with a claw foot tub with rainfall shower and the most delicious smelling shampoo, conditioner and soap. The towels were luxurious and they even had a makeup remover towel for the ladies (or men). The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. The ceiling fan was a nice addition for warm sleepers. The large closet was equipped with hangers, iron, ironing board, and some workout equipment for those into yoga or Pilates. Although I did not use them, a nice added feature was a washer and dryer. A huge screen TV occupied my binge watching. Plenty of different area pamphlets were available to get site seeing ideas. The short walk into town along the Trailway was so convenient. Nick and Olga were lovely hosts, not obtrusive but were available if needed. I will definitely keep the “Owl” on my list of places to stay when in New Paltz!

This was our first time on a property with the host on site. The “Owl” is a completely private apartment and the host family is upstairs. The entrance and walkway, including the outside sitting area is all private. The apartment was very spacious with ample conveniences and a shower to die for! We love accessibility to a full kitchen and living quarters complete with laundry. Our hosts communicated with us very well when needed and were very courteous. Many great places within walking distance and so many attractions nearby that this is the perfect space. We will likely return again!

I stayed here with a friend during a local race. The location to town and Mohonk were great. Our host was great with communication and provided all the essentials you’d have in the comfort of your own home. I’d definitely return for another stay.

Great place to stay, especially for bicycling. The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is barely a minute from the house. And you can be at Water Street Market and the rest of downtown in five minutes. Olga was easy to reach and very friendly. I'll definitely stay here on my next trip to New Paltz.

The accommodations are just what you see in the description. Quiet, countryside location but near a lot of infrastructure. Very responsive hosts really make a difference. Sometimes we can get a backache from "strange" beds but not here. We slept like babies (but through the night). Full modern kitchen, fully equipped. Can't think of anything hosts have forgotten. Wife wanted to book again even before we checked out!

The Owl is a wonderful studio apartment in the hosts' house. It was extremely clean, beautifully appointed, very comfortable, and very conveniently located. We were able to walk to town along the Rail Trail in about 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, but completely unobtrusive. Looking forward to our next visit!

Owners have thought of just about everything for a visitor's convenience. Very clean and fresh. Outdoor patio is a plus. Owners greeted us and were very friendly and personable. You could tell they put in a lot of thought to the details and were very proud how it turned out.

We enjoyed the the beauty, peace and quiet of the property as well as its proximity to the small vibrant town of New Paltz. If you can, bring your bikes. There is a lovely bike path through New Paltz and we also found that using a bike to take a quick trip into town for dinner or shopping was much easier than using a car. The space is well appointed and very clean. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked. We had a lovely time exploring the area.

There are no words to express how wonderful both the space and the hosts are! For anyone looking for a fabulous place to stay, in a very zen and beautiful environment, look no further! The space is kept very clean and offers its guests a home away from home. The hosts are beyond amazing and incredibly kind. Best VRBO stay I have ever experienced! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Owl. Nicolas and Olga somehow fit the comforts and convenience of a whole home into a studio space WITHOUT it feeling cramped. You can see the care that was taken with every detail from the kitchen amenities to the specialty bath soaps. The property is in a really quiet neighborhood but super close the New Paltz town center. Hospitality like this from nice people like this is why I love Vrbo.

The Owl is a lovely apartment and it was clear that Olga and Nicholas put thought into what they included in the space. It's a very quiet and private area, and a very quick drive into downtown New Paltz. If the weather was warmer, it would've been an easy bike ride! We'd definitely stay here again.
