Annual trip to see family and everyone’s favorite spots in Maine. This is our third time staying the apartment and we love it!

Was exactly as pictured and had a lot of room. Was a very enjoyable stay and good location for various activities.

Very welcoming and beautifully decorated. Very roomy. Had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Ellsworth is totally worth checking out for anyone staying in the Acadia area. It had enough going on to be fun/hopping but quiet enough to get away from the tourist traffic of Acadia too. This apartment worked great for our family of 6, and was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We love checking out National and State Parks, but are appreciating quieter/smaller nearby towns more and more in order to also get a break from all the crowds. We usually stay in homes but this was a nice change of pace - easy parking, easy shopping and restaurants right out our front door, and yet quiet and peaceful for a 'downtown' setting too. Highly Recommend!

We stayed 5 nights and had a hard time leaving. This lovely apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our needs, right in the heart of town, with parking allotted, and close to Acadia, where we spent every day. You can’t go wrong here!

This 3 bedroom apartment is incredible. It’s right on Main Street in Ellsworth, cool shops and restaurants within walking distance. It’s about 1/2 hr to Acadia and Bar Harbor, great to get away from the congestion down there at the end of the day and chill at an awesome air conditioned apartment!

This was a perfect place for us to stay! The apartment was so roomy, clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. We spent our days hiking in Acadia and our evenings out to eat and relaxing at the apartment. We loved the town of Ellsworth and the great food and beverages jt had to offer. We couldn’t have had a better trip! Thank you!

We stayed 5 nights while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park most days. Highly recommend, just wish there was more than 1 bathroom. Great amenities and location.

Once again, an exceptionally pleasant stay from Linda & Hans!
The 3 bedroom was perfect! Roomy, clean, comfortable and easy to keep with a full kitchen to prepare quick meals. And especially allergy free for me!
My husband was able to work remotely for a couple days and enjoyed dashing out for a great burrito across the street (86 This). Our son enjoyed the back bedroom with a desk for evening gaming with friends.
Convenient to family that live and work in Ellsworth (Atlantic Art Glass). Living on Main Street was a pleasure and convenient to meeting family for dinner at the pubs...So many great shops and eateries like Flexit Cafe, Finn's & Toko. Communication was easy and a pleasure. Looking forward to another stay.
Thank you so merry much Hans and Linda!

We enjoyed our stay in Ellsworth. Linda and Hans were very responsive and helpful. We would stay at this location again.

The location of this property is AMAZING. It is centrally located in Ellsworth with easy access to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, etc. The space is super clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Parking is easy and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Linda and Hans are amazing hosts and quick to answer all of our questions. All around great stay!

The property was very nice. It's new and much larger than it appears in photos. We had issues with the lock, and the Pm was easy to get a hold of and fixed the issue right way. My only complaint would be that they listed laundry as an amenity, but the details were that there is a laundromat close by. That's not an amenity. This was one of our considerations for booking because it was a longer trip.

The location was great. Only 30 minutes to Acadia and Bar
Harbor. We loved the little extra things like water bottles, toilet paper, coffee, etc. The notes the owners wrote helped us decide where to eat and visit. We definitely would stay there again.

Overall a great rental. Would have appreciated adding in the property listing that it is located above a store front so you do have to cliblmb up staira to acceas the property. It didn't take away from the experience but it would be helpful to potential older guests to know that climbing stairs is required.

I was so impressed with this VRBO stay because it was the first time I experienced a host who provided extra towels beyond the bare minimum, tissues, sufficient supply of toilet paper, dish soap, snacks, paper plates, etc. I felt welcomed and at home the moment I entered the apartment. The pictures are exactly what the apartment looks like and the rooms were actually bigger than I expected. Loved the old charm of the building and the decor was beautiful and functional. It was the perfect location for our vacation plans of visiting all aspects of Mt Desert Island and Acadia Nat'l Park. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone. We loved it! Thanks to Linda and Hans for being such great hosts.

They did a great job designing and decorating the space. Also had AC which was amazing. Bedrooms and bed’s were huge. Worth the 40 minute drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Linda and Hans property was the perfect place for our trip to Maine. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed after long days of hiking and adventuring. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay close to Acadia NP.

Because of storms, wildfires, we had two flights get cancelled so we couldnt make it to this place. I was in communication with the owners from the start about our issues in getting there. When it became clear we couldnt make it, I had asked if there was any way we could recoup a portion of our money. The owners wouldnt refund any of our money. This was clearly stated by the owners there was no refund so I understand their stance but, if we would have cancelled because of something we were responsible for, i could see keeping all of the money. We had ZERO control over not being able to show up yet they didnt give refunding us even a portion a second thought. We called VRBO and they were hoping the owners would give us back some of the cost. I now know i should have purchased trip insurance but my problem with the owners was the way in which they communicated with me that there would be no refund. Hans made the comment, "trip insurance is a wondeful thing", well thank you Captain Obvious and youre welcome to our hard-earned $$ for doing exactly NOTHING. News flash Hans, when things go south for your potential customers, you might tone down the flippant attitude. Maybe dont say anything to me while you count my money. I'm sure this place is nice but these owners are just plain greedy and didnt give a rip about our situation.

This is a great central location for exploring Acadia National Park. Downtown Ellsworth offers great dining options.
Property was incredibly clean and spacious.
Hosts were prompt with responses and wanted to ensure we had a great stay.
Offers designated parking.
Walking distance to some great food options.
If you want to do laundry, Eden is the best place to go.
We had such a fun time here!

We loved this little apartment on Main Street. The hosts are great. Lots of tasty restaurants and shopping to walk to and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to prepare food. There is even a little organic market a short walk away that has great ingredients and helpful staff.
Comfy seating and beds.
Tip: The street is a bit noisy with Main Street in front and City Hall behind so if you are a light sleeper bring some white noise or ear plugs. There are a lot of motorcycles and big trucks scooting through town late into the night and early in the morning.

Our bedrooms were so huge and spacious. LOVED the open floor plan. So clean and simply. Everything was within walking distance…restaurants, great shopping. Central location to Bar Harbor and other attractions. WHEN we visit again we hope to stay there. Ellsworth is such a quaint little town full of charm and the nicest people.

This place is fantastic! Stylish decor, very spacious, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable. Three large bedrooms - 2 with king sized beds and one queen; big, well-appointed kitchen with large table; open living area with comfortable very large sectional to relax on in front of a large screen tv; and, although only one bathroom, it is big with a comfortable shower (even for my 6’8” husband) with great rainfall showerhead and excellent water pressure. No laundry facilities, but there is off street reserved parking. Very easy. You are only 25 minutes to the Acadia National Park Hull visitor center on Mt. Desert Island, 40 minutes to the western part of the island at Bass harbor, and 45 minutes to Schoodic point. Really it’s a fantastic location and keeps you away from the crowds and traffic at Bar Harbor. It’s on the main street of Ellsworth within walking distance of cute shops and fun local bars and restaurants. Linda was an amazing host. Fantastic communication. There were no problems that we encountered, but I felt very secure that I would get instant assistance if necessary. She and Hans are nearby and readily available. My husband and I stayed there alone, but this would be a great option for couples traveling together or for a family with older children. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay in Ellsworth! The downtown area is small but adorable and is a great midway point between the 2 portions of Acadia National Park- the loop road and the Schoodic Peninsula. It isn't far onto Mt. Desert Island but is removed from all of the touristy stuff of Bar Harbor! The apartment is lovely, comfortable, well-maintained, and it is easy to reach the owners if you have any problems. We only had 1 minor problem on the very last day and the owner was there in 30 minutes! It is a great place to stay for the price and far nicer than any hotel! Did I mention the fast internet and Smart TVs in every room? This is a must stay!

The property nicely suited our needs and stay. Spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, clean. The owner supplied some nice treats to welcome us after a day of travel. The chips, blueberry soda and coffee e were a nice touch. Their store, Tojo, provided some unique shopping items.

Had a great stay at the condo which was a good location to go into Acadia. The space was much bigger than appeared in pictures and the parking in back was key. The lobster pot was a good find, and there are several other decent restaurants close. Would stay again if in area

Our stay was wonderful. The location is perfect for exploring. The street is lined with shops and restaurants. The inside of the apartment is even nicer than the photos. We felt at home and thr kitchen has everything you need. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing time!

The property was very spacious, clean, and well-decorated. The welcome snacks and blueberry sodas were a nice surprise. The owners were responsive and helpful with local suggestions. The only thing I would have changed would have been the air condition units in each room. One room ended up smelling a little musty, but my son was not bothered by it at all. We would come back!

This apartment is a Gem. If you have a chance to stay here I highly recommend it. This apartment is very spacious to say the least. The apartment was clearly decorated by a professional decorator. It was so enjoyable to be in the apartment I just wanted to spend time in it. Aside from that Ellsworth is a cute little town with many shops and restaurants. We traveled there to hike Acadia. It's just a short drive to the park and Bar Harbor. I can't say enough about this apartment. Linda was also a great host. She was available for any questions we had although there was no need to contact her.

This apartment is absolutely amazing. Perfect little rest spot after hiking all day. Spacious enough for dealing with teens. Excellent location. Close enough to Bar Harbor to make it accessible, but far enough to avoid the constant crowds. Wonderful local fare, welcoming town. Highly recommend!!! We LOVED it there and plan to go back.
