Location good, several very dirty unacceptable areas - check if you stay and report.

Location

Sent to '[email protected]' I refer to our recent stay at your accommodation which has/had some issues I’d like you to consider before I leave feedback on Booking.com and Social Media. The general area including kitchen and contents was without issue. However, you will recall the heavy rain/wind on Sunday and your leaking centre window which we reported. From the moment of arrival shortly after 4.00pm until we retired around 11.00pm we had to constantly ring-out a hand towel of rain water from the window sill, probably a dozen times or more. At one point it started to overflow onto the floor which we obviously wiped up, see attached image. More importantly was the cleanliness of three areas. The bedroom door glass, the filthy disgusting top of the stainless steel toilet brush and the metal shower hose which couldn’t have been cleaned for 6months or more. Again see attached images. Under the circumstance I think it fair for you to consider a part refund and I suggest £50.00. Reply did not include any refund!

Enjoyed saundersfoot, the people and all the food places… apartment great situation.

Modern and clean. Everything you needed for self catering. I liked the view from apartment.

Bedroom so slim, only room to get into bed is climb over it… ok for us, however less able guests might have a problem.

A fabulous spontaneous mini break for us

Ideal location with lovely sea view

We found the 1 bedroom in the apartment too small for our liking. We could only get into the bed from the bottom end and not via either side of the bed

The view and central location

Awkward to find the apartment as told it had a red door when it was grey. Also did not supply toilet roll! Was able to discuss issue with the owner, who stated because it was a self catering apartment it wouldnt be supplied. When returning to the apartment some toilet roll was left on the door mat. Felt like it was forgotten when preparing the apartment instead of a genuine reason

Wonderful, comfy, convenient!

Your personal touches (Welsh cakes/ milk etc). Even though we booked in short advance everything was perfect! We really love Saundersfoot and we come a few times every year and we loved doing something different !

We loved everything! Only think that may be an added extra was the fact that the only mirror was in the bathroom.. maybe could do with one in bedroom to help get ready while other is in the shower etc. But minor thing.. everything was amazing!

Brilliant location stunning 1 bed apartment

Sea view . Excellent location. Everything was there towels. T towels. Coffee milk . Nice living area kitchen and bathroom with shower . Would recommend .

Just a warning of a small bedroom but that is stated when you looking at pics and write up. Doesn't spoil your holiday at all

Great location, small but well thought out space.

Great location, right on sea front. Nice to have a kitchen so we could cook and there were all the basic utensils to do this. Parking was just round the corner and only £5 for 24 hours. We were there on an extremely busy weekend (Bank Holiday) so had to wait until later in the day for overnight parking but this worked well for us as we were out during the day. If you arrive after 7pm you can print out a ticket for free to 09:30am the following day so don't have to pay at all.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss particularly in the bedroom but not a major issue. NO recycling bin - we just used the public one downstairs.

Very central to beach, shops, restaurants.

Getting into bed at night was very difficult for my partner, who has dementia.The bed occupied the whole of the room leaving no space either side to get in. Had to explain every night to my partner that he had to crawl on his hands and knees to reach the top of the bed. He didn't manage it the first night and slept sitting up on the sofa. I think the owners should swap the sofa in the open plan area for a sofa bed, giving people who can't manage the actual bed, an alternative. In fairness to the owners, the photo of the bedroom is accurate, but many people (like me!) probably wouldn't notice it when booking.

Struggled to sleep.

The bedroom was actually a cupboard. It was hot, claustrophobic and no ventilation. Also extremely noisy day and night due to traffic and people coming out of night clubs.

I liked it and I would use it again.

The location right next to the harbour, beach, restaurants and shops was perfect. The apartment was tidy and functional with a good view of the sea.

The bed fits tightly into the bedroom so one must climb onto the bed from the foot end. There is no space either side which can make it difficult for older people. The bed was very soft which made it uncomfortable for me. The floor had sand and human hair on it when we arrived so the cleaning could be improved.

It was pleasant - very clean and a light airy living space.

Clean, newly refurbished apartment with most facilities provided. Beautifully laundered bed linen and towels provided. Look past buildings and a busy road and you can see the sea!

It was above a busy newsagents and cafe and road junction- exactly a central location so on hand for all amenities. We had a little difficulty finding the address provided- 4 Ocean View. More accurately perhaps it’s Ocean View, 4 Beddoes Court? Beddoes Court is an older building with outdated decor and neighbouring apartments that are also old and outdated. There are stairs to climb to access this first floor apartment. There was no parking with the apartment however public car parks at nearby and you have to pay. We didn’t have hot running water- the electric shower was hot but not the sink or bath. No recycling bins provided, only one for ‘general’ waste- I separated into bags and hoped it is would work.

Overall a lovely property and very well presented.

Breakfast wasn't provided, however there were places nearby that you could get breakfast. We used the kitchen facilities to cook a light breakfast.

The bedroom was comfortable, however we found it very difficult to get into the bed as there was no access on either side. The shower switch was in an awkward position. It would have been nice to have a mirror on the wall in the bedroom. Also as there was no window in the bedroom, it could become quite stuffy in the Summer months, so a fan of would be ideal. Also , there was no hairdryer at the property as stated in the property description.
