nice cosy bungalow
One of the bedrooms is a summerhouse at the bottom of the garden and not a part of the bungalow itself. Cold in winter

lovely comfortable cottage walking distance from winchcombe centre , great for our dog big garden then open gate onto field
nothing

The location was good to access the town / village, and to start lots of walks.
The bed in the larger bedroom was comfortable.
The garden was pleasant, although it was too cold to take advantage of it.
A top window in each of the two bedrooms was twisted out of shape and unable to close properly, making the rooms very draughty. If there had been a wind, this would have been much worse.
The conservatory opens directly from the living room, making it very hard to satisfactorily heat the whole large area. I asked for the property to be heated in advance of our arrival as I have been ill and I am feeling the cold more keenly.
I was advised that the heating was timed but that I could turn the heating on when I arrived. I did this but the house took a very long time to warm up, as if it had been heated only briefly in the preceding days / weeks.
There was just one thin blanket in the conservatory which we used to cover us while sitting in the living room in the evening.
The cleaners will have noticed that we took the quilt from the second bedroom and placed it on top of the quilt on our bed and anchored this with two duvet covers to keep us warm at night.
The letter box flap had fallen off and was placed on an outside windowsill. The fridge door would not shut properly and bleeped constantly. The kitchen was adequate but was not heated.
The bathroom was quite nicely done but the shower was inadequate.
I am glad that we did not have anyone else with us as we used the quilt from the second room. Additionally, I feel that the cabin in the garden was not adequate for sleeping in and needs a lot of TLC.
The house was sparsely furnished and looked rather bare. Our bedroom needed blinds or net curtains.
Outside looked rather unkempt and would benefit from the leaves being swept up.
4.5
Very spacious living/dining area and large well established garden with a covered fish pond. The kitchen was compact but very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The front of the bungalow has a large plot for ease of parking for several cars.
No complaints, good value for money.

the lounge dining room was spacious
the rooms were comfortable and the outside cabin was sufficient
the hot water kept tripping the lights - this happened
each time it was turned on
there were only 4 seats for the dining room table

Spacious lounge and eating area. Lovely garden. Good equipment in the kitchen
Didn't like having to sleep in the garden cabin. Dark and noisy. no sink or toilet facilities. Only 1 bedroom had a wardrobe which was a nuisance. The electricity tripped 3 times. only 1 bathroom. no bedside cabinets or reading light. Tv not working in cabin

Excellent price for this location. Walking distance to many facilities. Pleasant garden with fish pond. Plenty of space in the general rooms of the bungalow.
Would have appreciated extra toilet/bathroom. Place was clean, but did not have that clean crispness of many such lets. Because of the summer heat, extra shading would have been appreciated. Some extra basic items would have been useful (coffee pot of some sort, even a jug would be useful). potato peeler, smaller glasses, less chipped crockery.

Backing on to fields was a Good garden. Fairly large and secure. Lovely fish pond.
Bed linen of poor quality. One of the dining chairs was broken upon arrival.

lots of space for relaxing and being sociable, a beautiful garden and good size bedrooms.
I wish it had one more toilet- when there’s six of you sharing you do have to plan your bathroom time. They could do with leaving a few bits for the dishwasher so we could use it.

Only a short stroll into winchcombe. Beautiful cottage, in a quiet location. Lovely big enclosed garden for our dog. Comfortable, clean and well equipped kitchen. All in all perfect for us, we'll definitely return. Owners really helpful. Please note on a previous review someone said small things were missing, i can confirm they have teatowels and microwave. The cottage had everything we needed. Highly recommend
Nothing, we loved it ! We didn't want to leave :)

location, size. shower fantastic large parking area. walk to town n shops. town is old and quaint. out the back garden is a field large enough to let our dog have a run. walks around the area using foot paths. comfortable
plates chipped and not enough seats for our door sitting. not enough bin bags (silly things).
4.0
lovely spacious, clean and quiet property within easy walk of the town and facilities.
More information about the house eg wifi, access, recycling etc would be helpful. Some tea towels also for the kitchen.
The only real information available was the (very long) list of jobs to be done on leaving the property. Immediately upon arrival we were asked to feed to fish in the pond everyday, we hadn’t even shut the car door before we were given jobs to do. We didn’t mind doing it of course but maybe time to settle in would have been good.
otherwise it’s really a lovely property and a great base for a walking trip. otherwise we’ll equipped kitchen and very spacious lounge and conservatory and a lovely garden.

Lovely spacious property. Very comfortable and great value for money. Shame it’s a 3 night minimum as I would definitely book again as I visit Winchcombe regularly to visit family but usually only stay for 2 nights at a time.
Nice little kitchen but could have done with a microwave.

Location,garden and dogs allowed.
Bad lighting in bedroom, dirty ripped nets at bedroom windows. Temperamental bathroom light. Property needs a bit of love and attention. Would not recommend and over priced.
4.0
The huge garden and conservatory. Very quiet
Bathroom light didn't work half the time. The bathroom tap handle was too stiff and water escapes through the glass pane onto the floor. Didnt have microwave.
4.0
Convenience & support for landlord
Nothing detrimental
