A really lovely house and in a great location.
St Hilary's is a spacious and very comfortable house just a few minutes walk from the shops, harbour and beaches.
The wifi is very poor and only works intermittently. The phone signal is incredibly poor. The garage parking isn't accessible, the garage is on a very narrow and steep alley, we had 2 cars and neither drivers could negotiate their cars in to the garage. The bunk beds are only suitable for young children, our youngest at 14, was unable to sleep in them.

fantastic place with a car parking problem
The terraced house has everything you need and feels extremely comfy from the moment you step in. The house stretches over 3 floors including a 2nd steep staircase from the 2nd to the 3rd floor where a very big master bedroom with a small balcony is. The house is located only a 5 minute walk from the centre/harbour. The 2 main beaches you can reach within a 10 minute walk from the house. 2 smaller co-op supermarkets are also very close. Driving in St. Ives can be a bit tricky due to many narrow roads.
The marketing of the house was promising at least 1 car park spot. For a house catering for 8 guests i think that is not sufficient. That 1 car park in a garage behind the house can only be reached by driving up a road with a 29% incline (i am not joking). On that same very narrow you then also have to perform a reverse manoeuvre into the tiny alley way behind the house to get to the garage. That car park spot is basically impossible to get to, its fine for 2 motorbikes or some bicycles but nothing more. As there is no free public parking in St. Ives we had to pay & display on a car park near by (max. stay 24 hours for 16 GBP)
