Lovely Breakfasts. The location was difficult for me as I had a problem with my leg and Rivendell Guest House was up a very steep hill which meant I had to use taxis constantly.
Liked it very much except for the location' Also the weather 2 out of 4 days pouring rain.

nothing it was fantastic!

lovely house, tastefully decorated, handy for the town and with parking outside. Tracy was very helpful and our large room had a sea view with a seating area in front of the bay window. spotlessly clean. highly recommended!

Lovely clean room, perfect location, even had a small view of the sea. Tracey is a wonderful, friendly host, would definitely stay again.

Lovely b&b a 5-10 min walk from the train and bus station, town centre and beach. Very quiet street and we couldn’t hear our neighbours either. Everything was shiny and clean, and I loved the interior decor - furniture co-ordinated with furnishings, lovely duck egg blue accents and pretty details throughout.
We had a double room with sea view with views also to island point and the lighthouse. Large windows added to feeling of space. Excellent shower pressure and the duvet in particular was very soft and fluffy - not thin and sheet-like that you sometimes get. Shout out to the toiletries - they smelt really nice and not at all drying and harsh. Little touches that matter.
Breakfast room was light and airy (loved the Lowry painting - again, fab little details). We had the full English which was one of the best I’ve had in a b&b - not greasy, local sausage and bacon, good portion of eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. And the butter was from a local dairy - really yum. The fruit bowl was a nice variety of fresh fruit, very nicely plated, and cut into bite sized pieces which I appreciate - much easier to eat. Good tea and coffee. Also - it was so nice to not have a ridiculously early breakfast start and the chance for a bit of a lie in.
Our hosts were so friendly, and were kind enough to let us keep our bags for a few hours after checkout until our train - to save us carrying them around in town. It made a huge difference to our last hours in St Ives as we pootled about. Thank you very much! We will certainly stay again should we ever return to St Ives.

Clearly it had been nicely renovated with small touches everywhere to refresh the look. Nautical hints all over but nothing over the top which made the place stand out from a typical B&B. Excellent breakfast - chose the same for 2nd & 3rd day: local sausages which were great and hubby loved his poached eggs!

We stayed here for 4 nights in Sept and can highly recommend. Room very bright, clean and comfortable and property well kept and tastefully decorated. Breakfast very good and hosts friendly and helpful. Location good - only a 5-10 min walk into town or the nearest beach depending on how fast you walk. Would be happy to stay here again if back in St Ives.

The hosts were very friendly and we were made to feel welcome. The place was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great! Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
It is up a steep hill which didn't bother us too much as a taxi back from town about £4.

This is a wonderful B&B, in an exceptional Cornish village. B&B was clean and comfortable, hosts (Tracey and Liegh) where like all time best friends. My wife and I do loads of short breaks - this was one of the best.
I hate the way Booking. Com puts negatives first. St Ives is hilly, - beware if you have mobility problems.

The cosy but fully featured room was immaculate. Handy power points near the bed, usb charging points and a small but full featured bathroom. The owners had taken the opportunity to refresh the rooms which had been clearly done with love, forethought and great care. I was pleasantly surprised not to be able to hear other rooms which is a clever trick in a victorian house.
The view from the room was stunning. Overlooking the chocolate box town and harbour of St Ives with amazing sunsets, weather permitting.
The lovely, friendly and very helpful owners are clearly experienced with a high quality breakfast made to order arriving hot and quickly.
Its location also proved handy as its near the coastal bus stop and the train station, but just enough out of the center to be quiet and away from the crowds. A few minutes walk and you're on the high street or in the harbour.
Thank you all for a lovely stay and making the 2nd part of our honeymoon tour of South West England such a treat.
