About this apartment rental

Lake Como has an old-school glamour to it, dating back to the days of the grand tours, but particularly pronounced in the golden age of cinema when northern Italy was the playground of film stars, Italian and American alike. This waterside apartment captures something of that 1950s feeling, with the vintage furniture and retro prints. Of course, the real draw is its position on the shores of the lake and the unbelievable view from the balcony, but that kind of goes without saying. It may also be obvious to say that you'll have an easy time relaxing amidst the stylish interiors of this home. Whether it's from the pink velvet looking out onto the surrounding mountainous scenes or from the kitchen cooking up your favourite Italian delicacies with a soothing holiday soundtrack playing from the Marshall speaker – you'll be pretty much guaranteed a blissful experience when staying here. With the Bellagio positioned directly opposite and Villa Carlotta just a two-minute walk away – there's no better base from which to make the most of Lake Como and its fabulous town than this perfect pad. Home truths: *The shower is only 190cm high – fine for most, but very tall people might notice *This home is on the shores of Lake Como – Milan's the closest major city, but it's more than an hour away in the car *The building has a shared laundry facility *There's free street parking off the premises and paid parking available for one car in the building's private car park *Children's amenities including a high chair, dinnerware, changing table and travel cot, are available *There is a shared entrance to the building through the main foyer/corridor
