Spacious, clean, well appointed apartment in very convenient location. Superb view. Free parking in designated parking bay in Wilson carpark.
No negatives

Great Location. Moder furniture.
Glas walls inside the apartment

I like how clean our room was. The amenities were great. The view was so beautiful.
The pillows were uncomfortable, a bit flat. The bathroom did not have locks and had shower curtains to cover the glass wall and door of the bathroom.

It was a great clean newish apartment easy to find off a freeway , free parking , very comfortable stay. ,lots provided soap , washing powder, dish detergent ect would definitely go again
Probably the only thing it would need it just something to sit on outside on the balcony
When getting there you need to check your junk emails maybe ( I still couldn’t find the first email with details on how to get in ) and the host didn’t have their phone on when we arrived , but as soon as we got there they texted me with clear instructions and it was very easy to get access
Just one more thing if you’re driving there , there is a free provided car park underground so just be aware there may be a height restriction for you if you have a 4x4 ect.
Thanks for a great stay.

It was roomy enough for four adults and conveniently situated to get around Canberra's main sights on foot
There was insufficient crockery, glasses and cutlery for us all until more was brought after we had complained once we realised this when preparing our first evening meal.
The bedsheets were crumpled which gave a suspicion they had not been changed since the previous guests although they did look clean. The washing machine did not work and was not repaired during the time we were there so we had to rely on the one in another room being used by other people we were travelling with
The futon was not comfortable as a sofa and not large enough for four people
There was no coffee in the room - only tea

The whole experience of Nishi Holiday Apartments was excellent. As I was travelling with my pet dog, it was fantastic to have a dog friendly apartment that was so big and clean, in a great location and amazing view! Checking was online, but the directions to get to the parking spot that was included in the price, find the lockbox and keys, and get to the apartment was easy to follow. The apartment itself is large, and has an amazing view over the lake and Parliament House. I will certainly remember Nishi Holiday Apartments the next time I travel to Canberra.
The bedroom space was quite compact, but as it opened directly into the living space, it still manageable. Not a big negative, but the bed is quite firm.

It was clean and neat. The view was nice.
The noise from traffic below was loud and the bed was not very comfortable.
4.0
Great location, and easy parking. Good apartment facilities including gas stove and microwave. Good size for 1-2 people and an amazing view. Emailed instructions were clear.
Minor issues: Pillows uncomfortable, bed feels like its nearing end of life. Shower head also needs replacing. WIFI works but could be faster.
4.5
A self-contained apartment in a great central location, with spectacular views day and night.
Traffic noise was constant, but there was also an intermittent high frequency beep that we were unable to find the source of. Please note: this apartment only received a muffled evacuation warning at midnight on Sunday - fortunately I was awake and went out to investigate. We spent an hour on the street.

Pretty good
A few issues with TV and leaks

Well located. Great view.
The apartment was cold and draughty. There was no underfloor heating as advertised ! Traffic noise was invasive, even with no windows open! The small bed did not fit properly in the bedroom and we were constantly kicking our toes and stumbliing over the end corner of the bed as we walked in or out of the bedroom past the bed end and wall !! So very strange , not to mention dangerous!!! A very uncomfortable two night stay indeed! I will not recommend this property, it was very poor value for money.

The view was fabulous
The bathroom was slightly dated

good location if you have a vehicle; but not much if wanting to wonder on foot. Self-contained is great; laundry, kitchen etc. easy check in/out information (no hotel reception contact; all via key/lockbox/booking.com communications).
bedroom floating floors and beds were both extremely squeaky. cat hair.

Not much atl
Not much at all, property is tired well used. The constant traffic noise from the main road. You can hear the traffic all night. Could not even make a cup of coffee, no tea coffee or milk. There was someone parked in the parking spot. The cleaner and an elderly gentleman were in the room on arrival.
3.5
Pet friendly, and it's on the Ovolo hotel building where they also have pet friendly restaurant and bar. Parking is included in booking.
Apartment was not cleaned and presented at the expected level. Bedrooms and bathroom are of glass walls, so there is a lack of privacy. Also the 24 hrs light on the outside corridor is so bright that light up the entry bedroom through the night making impossible to sleep well.
Also due to a mould on the ceiling, when opening and closing the bathroom privacy curtain, it detached whole from ceiling dropping down.
3.5
A bit annoying to have to get up to the Apartment in two separate lifts. Otherwise good.
The bathroom had clear glass Doors so no privacy, however there was a curtain although it fell down so I suggest the owners put something up that’s more permanent.

The apartment unit is very clean. The location is good and there's theater and hotel restaurant downstairs. We had a good time and will definitely be back.
I can't think of anything.
1.5
The location and the room was warm. We were never cold. Great to have undercover parking included.
I want to be constructive with my review. Not the right room for a family with young kids. The walls are thin like paper and you can hear everything outside as well as the people walking in the apartment above. Didn't hear traffic but you heard everything and everyone else within the vicinity of the room. The curtains covering the glass didn't do much to stop light coming through and the 2nd room had light coming through all night. Not a great design for bedrooms. The first 2 nights we really struggled to sleep and by the 3rd we slept out of exhaustion. I would have liked a warm home feeling but it felt cold (not temp wise). No milk for coffee, no toiletries. No table on balcony as per photo. For a beautiful building, it really felt that the internal finishes were not up to standard.

Location view & access to restaurants

good location, right next to commonwealth park where we went for lunch and had a walk with our kids.
There’s no lock in any bedrooms or bathroom, not enough privacy if you’re traveling with someone rather than your family.

Loved the view of the lake toward Parliament House.
A simple, clean apartment with all you need in a nice hotel precinct.
The traffic noise made sleep difficult. Paired with rather high latex pillows (which I personally find hard to sleep on), unfortunately meant I didn’t get much sleep. The wardrobe doors don’t have handles & I broke nails opening them! Not a biggie, but annoying.

Very spacious and very well fitted out

Everything in the apartment was thoughtfully included and the apartment itself has one of the best views of the lake, library, parliament house and National Australian Musuem. All of everything was extremely close by with access to electric scooters pretty much everywhere around Nishi. That being said, we did end up ubering to places just because of time, convenience and cold.
We brought a rather large van with us, but the parking garage was more than enough to accommodate. For those that may want to do the same and do not want to google around, the height clearance of the Wilsons parking is 2.1 metres.
The instructions given to access the garage, keys and navigate the lifts to the apartment were clear and concise and we found everything on the first go.
We highly recommend this stay and will in all honesty, be back to stay again.

Location is reasonably central, walking distance to Civic and Braddon. Pet friendly. Garage included. Good instructions. Spacious modern appartment.
The unit is very noisy due to a major arterial freeway just underneath.
We had no problem collecting the keys from the key box however if something went wrong options were limited.
2 key sets would have been nice.
Bed is only double not queen.
No real balcony.

The location of the property was excellent. It was very clean and tidy. I love the view out to Black Mountain from the loungeroom. The temperature inside the apartment was perfect.
The TV had no reception and there seemed to be no WiFi. Also, the bathroom set up is challenging with 2 people who are not partners as the bathroom is almost public... This can't be changed as it is the layout of the apartment.
4.0
good view and easy access
a few things to note.
1.) we would have expected face washers to be provided
2.) if providing tea and coffee it is normal to provide little pods of milk as well
3.) toilet seat is discoloured and should be replaced.
4.) I strongly despise being asked to leave a five star review. it is up to me how to rate my review. nobody should try to encourage me to give 5 stars!!!!
nothings you can do, but it is quite noisy being right on Parkes Way and roadworks on our first night did not help
3.5
As you enter the apartment, you are met with a beautiful vista of LBG, Parliament House and the hills beyond. A great location, close to the city and easy access to the main roads. The apartment is very large and clean with all the amenities required for an enjoyable stay.
A large balcony with beautiful views was personally unusable due to 'Parkes Way' (the road between Nishi & LBG) being so noisy you were unable to enjoy the balcony or leave the large glass sliding doors open for a breeze. You had to rely on the air con. and the noise cancelling sliding doors - both excellent.
The bedroom opening made it hard to access the right side of the bed - only an issue for the elderly or with disability.
3.5
clean and bright. well appointed. beautiful view
only 1 bedside table.
Had to climb over the bed to get into it, with a broken rib and grazed knees this was awkward.
When sliding doors open traffic very noisy. could not sit out on balcony as too noisy
4.0
Location, close to amenities
too much noise from washing machine, no water soaking mat in bathroom.

Great
Loved this place and the view was awesome.

This was our second time staying here and I would choose to stay here again next time we’re in Canberra. It’s dog friendly, the place is comfy, the bed is perfect, the room overlooks Lake Burley Griffin, the Ovolo building is dog friendly so you can take your dog to the bar, the Ovolo is such a beautiful building, and the New Acton area is perfect for us.
4.5
Great location and views, easy parking and key pickup.
