Lovely clean place with lots of room. Very quirky room with lots of character. Huge bathroom. Very good facilities, we were able to play table tennis and it also has a pool table and private beach area! Tea and coffees included as well as a large fridge/freezer. Large balcony area to relax on too.
Very long way out from anything else. If you plan on leaving the resort during your stay, you will need a scooter to get around. Restaurant on site though so you could stay on site if you wanted to. Very steep hills to get to the property. Bathroom had some creepy crawlies in it. Also bathroom was overlooked by the neighbouring property, with no option to cover the window from our side. There was a fence by their balcony to obstruct the view, but it wouldn't have been hard to look over it if they had tried to.

Piscine trop chaude

It was next to the beach.
We arrive at the property in advance to check-in, they let us wait for 20 minutes. They didnât propose water to wait after a long trip, the personal was not even friendly (not even a smile).

The tiny house with two bedrooms was great. Nice garden views.
Hotel restaurant is not good. There really isnât a beach, to go over to Chaloklum beach you need to cross a shallow river next to the hotel, which is a shorter way than going on the road. Pool is boiling hot. You need your own transportation to move around, thereâs free parking on the premises.

Bungalow war mit Pool direkt am Strand. Abends immer ruhig zum relaxen und schlafen. Freundliches Personal.

The resort has a lot of potential, you are soraunded by a beautiful jungle and I enjoyed my nights on the balcony, but thatâs about that.
I stayed alone and the staff wasnât friendly at all or made me fell safe. On my arrival I found out that the lock is wiggling and I asked them to fix it, the staff suggested my to luck myself in the bedroom. The beds, the couch - was super uncomfortable. All the facility are dirty and old. I woke up one night and water was dripping from the celling plus I had no clean water in that cabin for several times as you can see in the photo. The place is located 15 min walk from the Center but if you have no bike you are basically stuck there at night or you can walk in total darkness in the jungles. In my first night I understood I was stuck in the centre called the hotel and asked them for help (it was 8 pm) they told me that that canât help me and basically sent me to walk this way alone.the restaurant suppose to work until 20:30 but when I came to have my dinner an 19 they were already closed. I highly recommend you donât stay in this place. I understand that weâre talking about cabins in the woods and not a hotel - but it was just ridiculous!

Breakfast was okay. Staff were friendly. Sunbathing around the pool.
You need transport to get into town. The site is very steep so some rooms are not easy to get to. The beach is not very good as swimming is limited by the shallow water.

Unfortunately this resort is in business just to get money out of travellers. When I got to my bungalow and saw the cockroaches đȘł crawling on the walls, I had no choice but leave. Until this day Iâm waiting for a refund for a service I didnât receive. Please learn from my mistakes and donât ruin your holiday by staying in this disgusting place. I spoke to locals, everyone told me they would have left. Also, as I was waiting for my taxi back there was a French family in the cafeteria complaining of the quality of food being bad (apparently the bread was so old they were unable to eat it). Just unbelievable and such a shame as the rest of the island is just lovely.
Level of cleanliness needs to improve. Also all the facilities were dated. Swimming pool was filthy, I wouldnât swim there - there were sharp nails sticking out on the wooden deck around the pool. Staff was rude and unhelpful.

great location close to coconut beach and chalaklum, easy to park and nice swimming pool at the resort.
Not the best view, lots of steps up to room, pricey food and drink.

The French owner is rude and the pool is filthy.

Bungalow was spacious and clean with Fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. Pool area was nice, with access to a sheltered beach area.
Quite remote - you definitely need a bike or some transport if youâre going to stay there. Itâs not really possible to cross the river to get to Chaloklum unless you have a dry bag and are happy to swim/get wet! There was construction happening directly behind my bungalow thatâs started early. The shower pressure was also very low.

What a sweet place to stay. A peaceful quiet area and the resort has stunning nature all around.
A hammock on the balcony would be perfect

It's a quiet, private resort. There's a beautiful garden and the staff is nice.
Breakfast: it is expensive and not worth the money. Additionally, if you want to have mobility, you need a motorbike.

Great for families. Close to amenities in Chaloklum. Beach is fun to explore and easy walk to Chaloklum beach for swimming, especially at low tide. Restaurant is very nice, food is good although there are yummier options in the village. Staff clean every day and quickly acted on any issues. Resort was very quiet and well kept.
Would like to have additional drinking water provided throughout the stay. Mattresses and couches could have been a bit more comfortable but everything was really clean.

The hotel is really pretty, individual bungalows set around a pool or in the garden and most with a partial sea view. The bungalow room we were in had been decorated to give a more modern finish. It is a 15 minute walk to the local village which has plenty of restaurants and bars along the beachfront, and a seven 11 shop. This, to me, is the best location on the island, its green, relatively unspoilt and the locals are really friendly. The beach there is beautiful and the sea is calm, shallow, crystal clear and inviting. You can get to the actual beach either by wading across the small estuary, which fluctuates between ankle and chest high depending on the tide, or by walking which we did.
I do recommend this hotel, but you just need to bear some things in mind when booking.
There isn't a beach here, the bit of beachy area it did have was covered in bits of broken glass and there was lots of washed up litter in the rocks, which of course couldn't be helped.
This property is not accessible if you are disabled or rely on a pram for transporting a baby as it is located down a very steep hill, luckily we use baby carriers and are regular walkers so we were fine.
When the room was cleaned the sheets didn't ever look clean and had marks on them, and the water wasn't replenished, nor the shower gel/hand-wash etc.
There are a lot of mosquitos here due to the hillside/jungle location and also due to the estuary, having incense or citronella for each bungalow would be a nice touch.
There are no fans in the restaurant/bar so it gets very hot and sticky.

it was quiet and peaceful.
we were put in a room that was up a steep uneven rock pathway, which would have been fine but the vegetation around the pathway was overgrown. our bathroom had a terrible leak in the corner whenever it rained and our towels were soaked.

The Red Pearl is a lovely resort itâs got lovely grounds a big pool well kept clean gardens , the bungalows are spacious clean and nicely decorated. it is very quiet. staff are more than helpful . they offered to give me a ride into the atm on the back of one of there bikes . very kind .
It is a little bit out of the way. you definitely need to hire a bike . taxi to Chaloklum 3min drive for 2 people there and back 400 baht. we only wanted to go to the atm to take some money out because they only take cash.

Fabulous place to stay when you want peace and quiet. If you're sitting on the beach the only sound is usually birds and monkeys, with the odd passing boat. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff make sure that your stay is perfect. The food is tasty and cocktails are excellent.
Nothing to not like

I liked the very spacious rooms, the calm surrounding, being in midst of nature. Moreover, you have everything what you need (the resort is 15 min walk away from the next town Roseville) like food/gastronomy, pool and relaxing spaces. I appreciated having the opoortunity there to focus on my work.
The water in the pool was quite warm, the sea was shallow, staff was ok.
