Same as above

The room was spacious, clean and had a fresh decors feel in the queen room. Lovely balcony with magnificent views of Queenstowns and its surroundings, especially The Remarkable. This was the first time we have stayed at a B&B. David was very accommodating, breakfast was great, along with great privacy and close to the CND. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We would definitely recommend this accommodation for a Queenstown visit and we’d love to stay again sometime.

We loved the beautiful views , the warm and very comfortable accommodation, breakfast that was provided and David’s welcoming manner.

Great place, would recommend!

The hosts are great, they’re friendly and helpful. The view from the room is beautiful (everything in Queenstown is beautiful). The morning breakfast is a nice touch, very convenient to start the day. The shower is amazing.

Not the hosts’ fault, but there are currently a lot of constructions around and it makes it a little complicated for shuttles/scheduled pick-ups to find the place. I experienced some delays, but still made all my activities on time :)

Couldn’t have asked for a more homely experience at Queenstown. The stay was lovely.

The breakfast was a lovely way to start our days and stay updated with the hosts who were very helpful

Could use more accessible facilities - perhaps a communal washing sink/dryer/laundry system for guests, more toilet products such toilet paper, soap, etc

Not suitable for us

Spotless and neat. Fabulous views.

No tv. No tea towel to dry dishes. Two sugars and teas only. Minimal provided. No where to put bags. Table too small to play cards. We left the next morning instead of staying the 3 days that we had paid for.

Exceptional Stay

Our stay at Greengables in Queenstown, NZ was absolutely fantastic! The room was cozy and beautiful. David and Ann were incredibly welcoming. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the town center. We had an unforgettable experience and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

First-class accommodations

David was a great host; responsive and full of helpful information about Queenstown. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The breakfast was first-rate (orange juice, choice of cereal, a pot of coffee and/or tea, toast all brought to us by David to our room). The location was perfect.

A very pleasant stay with a beautiful view of the mountains and lake.

The breakfast was good. The view was beautiful. The host was welcoming and delivered the breakfast to our room exactly the time we requested each morning. A very warm room on cooler mornings

The walk up the hill to the Bed and Breakfast from the town was a little difficult sometimes, Also, it would have been useful to have few more supplies in the room when we arrived for example, a box of tissues, extra soap and couple of extra towels for a longer stay.

Beautiful view from lovely B&B

The view across the lake was wonderful. Our host David was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and very comfortable.

The walk back from town was a bit tough but we knew this when we booked so factored in getting taxis back.

Superb

David was amazing! Very welcoming and helpful, but in particular very accommodating - went out of his way to help us out with his unexpected and sudden issues. Food, bed, bathroom, all good.

It's a bit of a walk to town, but reasonable.

Great little Bnb

Very clean and bright room with a great view. The owner was very professional and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast was included in the room rate which is a nice touch. We loved having breakfast in our room looking out from the window.

Fantastic location, stunning views and fabulous, comfortable accommodation.

The continental breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. The view overlooking the lake was sensational! The room was very nicely designed and extremely comfortable! Wish we had stayed longer!

Greengables OK

Close walking proximity to town, but hilly return, which is to be expected in Queenstown. Downstairs room was lovely but lacking in some areas. Only one smallest cake of soap, one smallest tube of shampoo and body wash, not sufficient for 2 adults staying for 2 nights. Coffee machine and pods in room, however, there was no milk in fridge, so we couldn't make coffee. Fridge is noisy, kept running, cutting in/out during the night. Breakfast was sufficient

On site owner was very regimental and bounced on us whenever we entered the building, making sure we removed our shoes prior to entry. We felt like we were being watched and stalked, even checked for hidden camera in room, as, as soon as we made any movement, he appeared. He was accommodating when we needed to store our suitcases when we left for 4 days then returned, which was appreciated. He was not flexible otherewise and made sure we left the building by 10am, even though he knew we were returning for breakfast at 9:15 on the morning of departure.

Fantastic time

It was a continental breakfast and it was very nice and well presented

The only problem we have is we were out late and they didn’t have a sensor light for the staircase or for the front door that be the only complaint

Good comfortable accommodation

The room size was good and the bathroom size was good. Bedding was very good.

Fridge was noisy during the night, No milk in fridge or water. No TV in above room. Walk to Queenstown centre is OK but walking back is up steep hills.

Fabulous views from our room

Magnificent views of the lake and hills. Breakfast was good and room very clean. comfortable and spacious

It was a steep walk into town and it meant a taxi back.

It was extremely hot, a fan would have been nice, but not essential as it cooled down.

a very enjoyable stay would definately stay there again thank you david /ann.

david and ann very good hosts, the views from our room was amazing very comfortable stay .

there are a LOT of road works around property and it was difficult to get there even with sat nav but once we had navigated the route it was not a problem. it was a good job we had a car as to walk into town was to far for me and especially the walk back (up hill)

Best room and view we've had in NZ!

Too many great things to highlight! The check-in process went very smoothly - David was very understanding to our needs. Then we were absolutely taken away by view of the lake from our room. Finally, we loved the beautifully presented breakfast. We enjoyed our stay so much that we adjusted our plans on the 2nd day to allow ourselves more time to enjoy the room before checking out.
