The staff were friendly and the room was excellent. It was warm and high quality fixtures and fittings. Will book here again when in Hove as it met all my needs.
There is nothing I didn't like. I was a little late getting to the hotel and gave my number incorrectly but the staff were understanding of my error. So nothing not to like.

Stylish rooms. Comfy bed. Really nice selection of teas, coffees and biscuits!
It’s a little noisy at night, but that’s to be expected! It’s a pub!

location ideal as near family and station. Nice pub and staff.
Very small room not very warm. iron staircase to access property dangerous when raining. Room not serviced on day two. No clean towels and no bed made. Very poor.

The room was so comfy, really lovely and quiet despite being above a pub - we both slept so well! The separate entrance felt very secure and made it feel like we had our own place. The area, though a bit far from the centre, is lovely and quiet with lots of shops to explore and not far to go to the sea.
The room could have been cheaper for what it was, but it was a good bargain compared to other places in town.

Really helpful staff and nice pub downstairs. My room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. The TV was set up with Netflix and Prime to enjoy the evening. I was also able to get a food delivery from a nearby burger place.

Lovely and clean room, with a nice atmosphere. The pub downstairs was also very nice and staff were super friendly/helpful. Can’t really fault the room and things inside. Little coffee and tea station was beneficial. Bathroom had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Bed was very comfy! Pub had lovely food and drink, at a reasonable price. Can’t really fault the location and was super easy to get into Brighton centre with a 20 minute bus or half an hour ish walk. Nice little shops and cafes nearby too!
In my personal opinion the noise let the stay down for me, even though I understand it is a pub and will be some noise. The pub didn’t close till 12pm and the music was thumping through the floor, making it difficult to sleep. I asked what time the music would be turned off and the owner did turn it down slightly, which was very considerate. The music did carry on till around 12:30pm though. Unfortunately we then was greeted by drunken loud people, who were outside till 1am making noise. The other problem we found, which is just unlucky was the weather causing the outdoor pub sign to swing and keep banging against the wall all night, this happened to be just outside our window. Also, at around 7am we heard lots of loud bangs, which sounded like bottles being collected or moved. The temperature gage in the shower was also broken, water was super hot, which is better than being cold! I am a very light sleeper and easily irritated by sound.

Room was clean and comfy but a bit on small side.
The food in the pub was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Parking very difficult in that area. Sink tap was faulty. Unfortunately no tea bags in the room. Other than that a good stay.
