Good but not great

The room looked good and the bathroom was very clean. I appreciated the safety precautions taken with the general house and my room as well.

The heating however wasn't very effective and it was a bit cold. Also the pillows were flat and thin.

It was located in a very nice neighborhood, good laundry facilities. but the property was not convince at all. Because the people walk on the floor we heard every step of people in the house.

The kitchen facilities were very poor. In the whole kitchen I found one big spoon and one small spoon. Also there were lake of plates. There was couple of small plates for kids not for adults. Our room look like a prison . The AC was on 24 hours on but we couldn’t switch it off. We had no access to it. I have tried to switch it off but no chance. The house is too far from everything. No shops or coffee shops close by. You have to walk about 30 minutes to have access to shops and coffee shops. Like Tim Hortons.

Nice location. Lots of space in room. Having the use of the deck was nice.

Not very clean. Felt dated. Lots of kitchen items missing so had to go out and buy own forks, spoons and bowls. Expensive for what it was.

Affordable, good for the price in a beautiful neighborhood. Thin walls. Bring forks.

The owner is very accommodating and provided things like extension chords or a fan as requested. The bed was very soft. The towels are as shown in the picture with the cute swan. The bathroom is external to the private suite but had no issues with other guests. Beautiful neighborhood. Short distance from convenience stores.

The walls are not soundproof and you can hear people doing their private business pretty clearly. Although the kitchen is generally very nice to use, bring your own utensils - we had difficulty finding forks.

This was the second time I stayed there. I used to live in the area so the location was perfect for my needs. It was close to where I had to be.

I did not like being in the basement this time after I was in the upper front room the last time, It was cold and damp and the bathroom was too far away. It was also next to the laundry and it seems some do laundry at 2am when I have to get up early. It also seem that some do not follow the no shoes rule as I heard people up late walking around and it could be disturbing if you have guests in the basement.

Overall it's comfortable stay.

The place is quiet and clean. It's new renovated. Kitchen and bathroom are clean. The parking spot is big. It's closed to highway 404 and shopping area.

Since it's in old resident house, the sound isolation is poor. Fortunately there are only 2 groups of guests. It's not too bad.

Place is clean.

The place is clean, but the room was a part of the Kitchen that was not mentioned in the description. I cam from travel very tired and slept at 10pm, people were using the kitchen till almost midnight. I had to wake up around 5am as some guests were using the kitchen again. The fire alarm get off around 530 am as someone was cocking! Really disappointed I came for a work and I had a very long day that need to rest well after 6 hours drives but I was like a zombie at my training.

Good value and comfortable.

Spotless and comfortable for the price. A short walk to a bus line that takes you to the subway, so easy access to the city.

The walls were extremely thin, so maybe bring ear plugs.
