Personnel très accueillant et très gentil. Emplacement à proximité du site de Petra. Calme pour bien se reposer. Nous disposions d’une clim réversible dans la tente, de quoi bien se maintenir au chaud surtout en hiver.

The rooms were clean and well equipped.

Neue, sehr moderne und saubere Unterkunft. Wahnsinns Buffet.
Leider aktuell gerade etwas Baulärm.

In Petra, we spend time at ruin. It mean our main purpose to stay hotel is to rest. Their rooms are clean and enough facilities. Also, they has pool and netflix. They are reasonable, clean and enough facilities to rest.
There are some distance from ruin so we had to pay extra fee for putting baggage and transportation. On the other hand, total cost is lower than other hotels and the view is great.

It is located in calm place, it has a nice swimming pool and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food and wine was nice as well. I definitely like this place.

Rock Camp is undoubtedly a cool place to stay; the breakfast is decent and the buffet dinner was excellent both nights. Would have loved to have spent more time there at the pool and just hanging out in the evening; it's quite expensive compared to other options when you're just sleeping and wolfing down food before heading off to Petra again!
Although they're rapidly expanding, it has the air of somewhere that hasn't been quite thought through... perhaps they'll iron out the creases over time. The tour coach driving right up to our guest huts and idling the engine for 90 mins from 7am was a low point... but there's nothing that would stop me staying there again.

The people where very nice and helpful
The domes are nice but inconvenient. The swimmingpool is not that great.

The location in itself was pretty spectacular, with all the surrounding mountains and everything. But if the idea is to stay there to visit Petra, it’s not ideal. You will bleed money in taxis to go and come back and the staff at the reception doesn’t really have much information to give about visiting Petra.

The camp is managed by a great manager who is very service oriented, understands customer needs and is trying his best (with limited resources) to satisfy every guest. Without Atef the camp would be average. So, big compliments to the entire staff. Location is also nice but it isn't easy to find it and impossible to get there without the car. In general it was a nice experience to be there but don't expect too much.
This is a very nice camp, however not a 5 star standard. The place requires further investments into the facilities and services. We have had almost a fire in the camp due to broken kettle. Fortunately the staff was very helpful. The water under the shower is rather cold and nothing could be done to fix the problem. There is no internet connection in the Camp, however you can use WiFi (ok but not excellent). There is a swimming pool (great!) but we didn't use it as the water was cold. Breakfasts are very basic, even poor. There are no shops or restaurants in the neighbourhood and you can't buy any snacks or soft drinks in the Camp (you get water, tea and 1 x person soft drink for free, every day).

The welcoming was tremendous! Warm people good buffet eveything was fine!
The room electricity was cut when leaving the room it lead to rotten food.

I like the tent concept and sleep under the stars. Also pool was nice. Air condition worked well, absolutely you need this. Breakfast menu is average
Breakfast area has lots of flies and it is creating dirty concept. Lightning was not good and enough. The light turned on many times after we turn off. The sign to show entrance was not enough

Wd have been nice to have a balcony to sit outside

Looks like a moon station via the Internet right?
Well the two big spheres are the dining room and reception.
The smaller spheres are the rooms and they were very comfortable with wifi, TV and AC.
I had a good time and enjoyed the dinners by the pool.
Could have a coffee kit in the room.
Could have a small store to sell cookies, milk, coffee for the evenings but am sure these things over time.

Very friendly manager and very nice staff. The location is fabulous with a great pool. We loved being away from the town and able to enjoy the night sky and stars. Our room was better than expected. We had dinner in the camp both nights and it was very good and we appreciated the chilled beer after spending 8 hours walking in Petra.
Wr liked everything but an improvement we’d recommend is to put a small lamp (or candles?) on each tables in the restaurant and to turn off or lower the overhead lights which are too bright for evening time dining. This would create a much more relaxing atmosphere in the evening. Also it would be great to have a guided walk out to enjoy the night time sky and stars. We were afraid to do it because of the dogs that wander around the countryside.

Location of hotel is perfect.
Rooms are very comfortable to get some rest after a long Petra visit.
Staff is very helpful and kind. Meals are very delicious.
All was good.
Nothing to complain.

AMAZING CAMP AND PEOPLE
4.1
Staff is the strongest point of the accommodation - very polite, friendly and very helpful. Tents were spacious and we also had warm water in the bathroom that you do not take for granted in the desert. Food for dinner was nice too.
The location is not the best and not the most romantic we stayed at, however for one night when visiting Petra it was sufficient. It was very cold in the winter in our room even though the ac was on the whole night.

location
cold meal, cold breakfast, toilets outside and shared. health and safety issue with icy walkways. my wife slipped and landed on her bottom. I slipped a few times. not salted. no hot water at night time. Luke warm water in the morning.

they had heat in the tents and tvs with Netflix! after days in the cold desert, this was the real luxury. but I wouldn’t consider this camping.
the breakfast room should have been heated. everyone was freezing. and the staff seemed very stressed.

To be fair we arrived at the height of the rains experienced in Petra late Dec 2022.
But upon arrival it was like a ghost camp, eventually they showed us to our pods, but there was no electricity or water?
They said it would come on, but it never did. They just weren't prepared? it was like no one had stayed there in a while?
They eventually conceded that we were never getting power or water and relocated us to the Petra Palace as they had co-owners.
If I can give anyone advice from this post, DO NOT STAY AT THE PETRA PALACE, it truly was a horrible experience. The rooms and sheets were just unclean, you felt dirty and the food was just terrible.
Overall very poor experience.

Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Petra! Everyone was kind and helpful, and wanted us to be satisfied. We were a family of ten with both adults and children and everybody LOVED the place!

The camp is a unique experience for those who never tried bubbles. The staff is very nice and friendly; special thanks to our friend, Atef who made our stay even more special. The breakfast though could welcome some improvement, also the place overall felt overpriced for what it offers.
breakfast and dinner, overall price

staff was very nice
pictures are deceiving. there are handful of the igloo tents and they are the ones always get booked but all the other tents are just regular.
