prachtig prettig en relaxed het was een genot er te zijn

vriendelijke eigenaren erg luxe kamers erg hulpvaardig met spullen lenen en gebruiken. mooi rustig dorp en strand

eigen waterkoker op kamer was leuk geweest met eventueel eigen koelkastje.

Traumunterkunft - herzliche Gastgeber - klasse Strand

Ein traumhaftes Domizil mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die liebenswerten Eigentümer gestalteten ein stilvolles Refugium in dem wir uns sofort zu Haue fühlten, nicht zuletzt durch die hilfsbereite, offene und herzliche Art der beiden Gastgeber. Darüber hinaus gab es ein außergewöhnlich ansprechendes , sehr vielfältiges und einfach leckeres Frühstück. Top Pool, Fahrräder kostenlos nutzbar- einfach alles unkompliziert - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Best hotel!

This was the best accommodation during our Portugal trip! It could have not been better! Everything was perfect: the rooms, the beds, the interior and the breakfast. However most important the hosts are fantastic and very helpful! We will come again!

The Perfect Stay in Torreira!

This is the perfect stay in this area. Breakfast is amazing! Everything is cooked early morning, the smell of bread and pastries, once you get out of the room... is just perfect! Very well located, you can walk to the beach or to any restaurant around. Ida and Michaele were very welcoming and always trying to fit in our expectations and requests. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Unique place to stay!

Very nice and familiar place to stay if you are going to Torreira. We only stayed there for one night but it would have been great to be there a little bit longer to experience this unique hotel.

Friendly, professional yet personal service. Details to comfort and use of hotel amenities. Breakfast was ALWAYS delicious and satisfying. Ida and Michele were very friendly and made sure you felt comfortable, relaxed and at home. 5*****

Very cute and homey B&B, perfect for a couple!

Refugio Dorado was a quaint, comfortable bed and breakfast that had a very homey feel! We loved learning about the history of the house, and we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was fabulous!

Amazing place, walking distance to ocean and ria. Wonderful hosts

Such a beautiful place. You see that every piece of furniture, art, decoration is put there with great attention. Even though the house is big and you can get lost, we instantly felt at home. That is also because of Michele and Ida, who welcomed us warmly. They are incredible hosts who really care that their guests enjoy a pleasant stay.

We had a pleasant stay but had to always travel to other parts near Alveiro (30-40m drive) which are much more attractiv

The owners are very friendly with great hospitality mindset, big rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast

although advertised on booking.com, there is no kitchen availability for the guests, outside garden is also used by the owners and therefor not always available for the guests, the pool is a community pool (old and not very attractive) and not part of the property.

The B&B with in total 8 rooms offers space, cleanliness and a personal touch by the owners.

Refugio Dourada offers a complete package in a very nice and quiet town of Torreira. Perfect to combine with day trips to Aveiro and Porto. Would certainly recommend Refugio Dourada.

Suprising nice place, cozy room, silent area. Very friendly hosts. The building looks like an old chappel but the atmosphere inside is nice (not like in the typical church) Amazing breakfast. Torreira is pleasant place, much better than Aveiro or Praia da Costa Nova.

Very comfortable place, very helpful hosts

Beautiful old historic house that the hosts have renovated into a B&B. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh and tasty, lots of variety. Would stay there again. Wonderful hosts. We were just there for the night, passing through, but would stay again during the beach season, as they have lots of available activities.

A little hard to find. Google maps had trouble locating, and no signage identifying the Refuge.

This is a beautiful house and we made extremely welcome by the hosts. The room was lovely and so were the gardens and swimming pool.

A great one night stay

Wonderful, clean building with great welcoming hosts. They provided good information on restaurants in the local area and were very attentive. The breakfast was delightful, the bed had an electric heated mattress. I didn't use them but there were bicycles for hire.

The location was relatively out of the way of many facilities, but this for many would be a positive for that local feel. Also it was April so possible reason why it was quiet in the area.
