Staff was very helpful. Always someone available to offer support and recommendations. The areas around the pool and lounge are perfect. Allows you to escape the crowd of the beach and still enjoy the beauty of the area. Being able to use the kayak was nice and the seating area down on the beach is a nice option.
The whole stay was fine. There was nothing that stands out as being a problem.

The staff was extremely professional and helpful! The food took a bit to be served but was exceptional for the price. We loved everything we ordered. The proximity of the hotel to a smll shopping area, the beach and other activities was very convenient. The Mua Tala Hotel itself had a beach bar and café at its base. The atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful! Ms. Louella was a godsend! My fiancé proposed here and it was all planned wonderfully with Ms. Louella's help! From recommendations for videographers/photographers, the location, the food, the set-up and the day of execution, it was truly an unforgettable moment and overall adventure.
I saw some of the reviews complaining about the staircases being an issue. We stayed at the highest rooming accommodation (King Suite) and although it was several flights of stairs, it did not bother us. The staff carried all our belongings to our room anyway. The assessment of that being a con is unjust. Logistically speaking, to expect other alternative infrastructure to be in place is privileged. They are just stairs.
We truly want to thank Ms. Louella and the staff for an amazing experience that will live on with us forever! We hope to be back some day!

Skvele pokoje, fantasticky vyhled, velmi ciste

We fell in love with this hotel and our room! So much space ~ large bed and a huge bathroom! The shower was a dream! Everything about this place was 5 stars! Great breakfast too. We had amazing views of the beach from our balcony in the penthouse!
Everything was perfect!

Wow, wow wow. I can’t explain in words. You just gotta go Check it out!! one of the most beautiful places to stay in El Nido. The staff are super friendly. The food is great. They have a great bar and coffee area. I think it’s the most beautiful beach in El nido area by far.

The bedroom was spacious, well appointed with an incredible view over the sea and islands. Everything and more was provided including a well stocked mini bar, toiletries, bath robes, slippers and an endless supply of beach towels. All the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly and provide a service over and above, from the security guards, waiting servers, kitchen staff, cleaning team and Jade and his colleagues at reception. The infinity pool, lounge, restaurant and beach bar are all wonderful and of a high standard. Mua Tala is on a beautiful beach from where you can swim in the warm calm sea and watch the sunset.
There was nothing not to like about our stay at Mua Tala except having to leave.

The view, the services, the beach, personels, the room
The smell of toilet, half of the menu available 😐 …

Love that it was modern and clean!
The stairs were slippery when it was wet. My brother in law slipped on it three times. Very dangerous!

Everything was fantastic! The staff there are so, so lovely. They always greeted you with a smile and were so helpful and all-round wonderful. The breakfast included was great, and the rest of the food and drinks (local dishes especially!) were all delicious. Thanks so much for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable!
The stairs up to our room were a bit of a killer! But I knew about them before I booked and it was good exercise haha, so it's not really a bad thing!

Great potential nice staff
Constant construction, 7days a week from 7am to 7pm. No water for half of our second day. There was no way to really lock our door and we spent the first half of our first day trying to work with the staff to secure our things. They tried to “fix” it but that never worked. The construction was right next to our room and we couldn’t get away from the noise as the second day, they broke down the beach front structure with hammering all day by the beach and pool. All of the bldg roofs had ugly blue tarps.

Beautiful view from the room. even if it was typhoon weather! beautiful infinity pool. beautiful breakfast every day. staff very accommodating and helpful. prompt communication.
bit noisy with some works going on. room leaked a bit in the heavy rainy weather. one day where our room wasn't serviced. restaurant dinner one night where things on the menu weren't actually available.
4.2
clean and nicely maintained. not crowded or busy.
the steep steps to get to the higher rooms.

Location was superb, view from our room was breathtaking!!! Meals st the Bugana restaurant was outta this world . Rooms were clean & tidy , cozy & comfy bed & 5 star premises . Louella the Gen manager & Mitch the concierge were so helpful & accommodating Yo our requests . Staff are courteous & helpful & gave us the privacy we needed . Location is excellent , not too many guests when we checked in so we had the pool, beachfront & cafes/ restaurant all for ourselves !

great location - but I would opt to stay elsewhere
construction noise from
07:30am until 17:00pm Monday until Saturday - the hotel should inform guests in advance as this has been ongoing for some months. the manager is trying to get the work finished for a wedding but I explained that all guests are important not just wedding guests. by day 3 I had enough, headache tablets, 220 steps up and down the property - no peace and relaxation. swimming pool could not be used, terrace was not in operation, breakfast we were charged for asking for another coffee despite the first coffee being only small. no shuttle service - this is another rip off! the hotel is only accessible via the beach - no lifts. if you require peace and relaxation this hotel is not for you.

I like this property very much due to its location, far away from the town with awesome view of Maremegmeg beach.
there is no direct access from the road.

The hotel is clean, beautiful, tidy, and with nicely decorated modern rooms. The rooms & bathroom was spacious with a large balcony with full panoramic views. The moka machine is a nice touch, so that you can have a coffee out on the balcony. The shared pool and all restaurants at the hotel is the best place to watch the sunset. Rooms were tidied daily with linens changed, hot showers, strong air con. It was the perfect room for a relaxing get away.
There is no spa, but the hotel sets up massage tables in the privacy of your hotel room - we loved this!
It didn't bother us, but there are a lot of stairs and walking required to get to the hotel & the rooms - you have to walk down an outdoor mall and then across the beach to access the front desk of the hotel and then at least 2-3 set of stairs up to your room.
Although the staff was kind & helpful... we had a very bad experience when we booked a Tour A through the hotel. We got very upset to find out that we were quoted almost double of the other tourists on our boat. We had to fight the boat tour operator to pay the actual price vs the elevated price the hotel was trying to charge. Cheating guests at the hotel is NOT acceptable.
The restaurants downstairs are the hottest places for the sunset. Unfortunately, that means that inside your room, you can hear the loud music from the restaurant until about 9-10PM.
4.2
The location, beach, view, food at the restaurant, staff.
The part of the hotel was on the refurbishment. Noisy music for entire day. Living like in disco all day.
4.2
Amazing beach front hotel! Excellent staff, great service, excellent food! Easy access from LIO Airport.
Absolutely nothing! It was everything we hoped for!
4.2
Localization is great and so is the view. Good "party" mood on the beach as on in the beach bar next to the hotel.
Breakfast could have more options for this price. The hotel beach bar is very noisy until 8PM... which is OK when you want to party but NOK when you want to rest during the day. I would suggest to limit the party time to certain defined hours.. or be more explicit about this issue on the website.

the people specially Louella
the view is spectacular!

Beautiful resort. View from our suite was amazing
Difficult finding staff to inquire, especially in the morning about activities. Water dispenser was empty on the 2 days we needed more water. Service can improve; due to lack of presence of staff at the front desk
4.2
the don’t have WiFi. it never works.
4.2
This was definitely “the spot” on Maremegmeg beach. Room was large with a beautiful view. Staff was accommodating. Pancakes were DELICIOUS!
IMPORTANT: CONSTRUCTION NOISE. The hotel or nearby property is under construction and there was close, loud construction noise during the day. I was disappointed with this for the price per night. Also, NO ROAD ACCESS. Motorbikes had to be parked a good 5-8 minute walk away, down the beach and through an unpopulated shopping area. Security was around, but I would not feel comfortable going to/from alone at night. Wifi was down nearly the entire time. Should additionally be noted that most rooms have a minimum of 40-70+ steps from the beach. Salespeople seriously hustle on the beach and I found it hard to enjoy beachfront facilities with the frequent solicitation. Can not actually see the sunset from the hotel.
4.2
The property is in a great location with lots of restaurants, bars, and views around! The views from bed are to die for. It is very small which makes the experience more personal. We loved our stay here!
nothing!
4.2
Location, view from the room
Wifi not available more then half the stay and staff doesn’t pick up the main desk phone. This in my eyes is unacceptable for a room of this price in the Philippines.

noting

great location, nice rooms with fantastic views.
access to the property is via the beach so hard to get to from the road.

near the beach.
The room has insects that bites. No 24 hours service. Poor internet.

We really felt we were in paradise. Mitch was always helpful. Tour A package booked by them was exceptional. Unbeatable room view.
