My stay was for 5 days. As i travel for work i need comfort, silence and good ventilated room to relax after work. The management was kind enough to support me with this.
Overall, it was a good experience!
People have the liberty to come in and out on their schedules. Calling management in the middle of the night to open the main door is not practical.

I loved the staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. They were eager to please. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you needed. Great value for money.
The only thing that lets the hotel down is the fact that it could do with a makeover.

I slept well, and the shower was surprising good. The manager was friendly upon welcome and when I couldn’t get the WiFi to work. However the hotel was extremely run down and was more like a hostel than hotel.
Very Run down

It was good value
I expected a budget hotel and that was what I got - no complaints
2.0
it was conveniently located and close to pubs, take seats and shops etc for grabbing anything we needed.
it wasn’t clean, the lift was broken, there were hardly any towels and no cleaning service for the two nights we were there. the radiator couldn’t be adjusted so the room was too warm. the person who checked us in made a huge deal about returning the remote control for the tv (which was tiny and couldnt be viewed comfortably). The bathroom floor in our room was gross and the bedding was thin and worn. also a gap around the bed which was against the wall so was super uncomfortable. We had lots of luggage and weren’t offered help in or out and weren’t told about the lift being broken. If there are breakfast options we weren’t made aware of any at all. For the cost it’s not good at all.

The location close to the airport and city centre is great. Busses are very regular.
The building itself is old, run down, smells disgusting and similar to a homeless shelter. The rooms are dated, smelly, signs of dirt and sticky spilled drink on the drawers. There was no remote control in my room for a second time and no Wi-Fi. The room was stone cold and the electric heating was ancient. It took hours to feel a bit of heat. Leaving and re entering the hotel after 10pm seems to be seen as a faux pas and you are reminded of that policy multiple times. The clientele checking into the hotel seemed rough to top all of it off. Some MAJOR improvements needed to call this an OYO, never mind a hotel.

The hotel is affordable
No cleaning since my dad stayed while it says it has cleaning services and my dad had to clean his room before moving in by himself
No WiFi in rooms while the hotel has free WiFi as one of the amenities
The owner is a bit rude. The corridor door was left open unintentionally and the owner made me say sorry multiples times when he called. I think the hotel should have a security guard if they want it to be secure.

No breakfast
Cleanliness.. room had not been cleaned, en suite had hair in the washbasin and bath.
My room door did not lock or even close properly. I wedged a chair against it all night.

It was ok for the travelling distance
And staff were friendly
No TV remote for the TV,
Shower was very old fashioned,
Walls were paper thin,
Could not turn heating down and it got dreadfully hot very quick,
Just very old fashioned not updated or refurbished,
Worn out chairs in entrance way,
Lift wasn't working so had to use stairs and my partner suffers with knee damage

The owner was wonderful, nice welcome and helpful
No Internet to do my work, shame

i wasn’t expecting a bath in my room so that was a nice surprise
the window doesn’t fit the frame anymore so there’s a big draft and you can hear the traffic. there was a tv provided yet no remote so I couldn’t even watch tv. bath plug was too small so had to improvise with tissues. either have to slams the door or wiggle it for it to lock I didn’t realise this so my room was u locked a while. i was going to arrive late passed the supposed 11pm lock up. to inform the owners I called the phone number listed on Google. it takes you to a third party who then gives you no help at all as the phone number she gave me for the hotel just redirects back to the first number.
