Clean, modern, comfortable and convenient.

Fantastic location with parking. Modern and cleans hotel. Everyone is lovely and friendly. This is our second stay at this hotel and will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Pricing should match other hotel booking platforms.

This is consistently a very comfortable and clean hotel which suited the needs of this visit. The staff are very friendly.

Travelodge need to be more competitive with their pricing. As a customer I shouldn't be expected to look up the price on Booking.com or similar and ask for a price match. I was in Sydney for three consecutive nights but I only knew day to day if I would re-book each night, as my sister was very unwell in Intensive Care. I flew down from Brisbane and paid $239 for my first nights' accommodation - I was only there from around 01:00 - 08:00. The staff should be able to offer pricing which is a bit more reasonable but as my brother had booked it over the phone for me, nothing could be done about it. The next night I paid around $150 and the 3rd night around $170 via Booking.com. The cafe in the foyer is massively overpriced - I paid $50 for four coffees and four muffins which were all extremely dry.

One night, flying visit for work. Staff on check-in and out were brilliant. Room was clean and warm.

Clean, warm, convenient location and the staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant.

A sauna or spa would have been icing on the cake but I'm not complaining.

Good but let down by check in staff and the very uncomfortable bed.

Location was great

Check in staff was not friendly and very difficult to understand. Even though I had reservation through booking.com they had no paperwork reflecting it so the whole process took alot of time. Had to fill in all my details and go through booking process again.

Solo Traveler in Sydney

Value for money, comfortable room. Convenient location, walking distance from Hurstville metro station.

Found dusty corners and no coffee maker despite some coffee capsules in the drawer. When I called the guest service said the cleaner put the capsules there by mistake.

Please buy sheets that fit the beds. You would get 5 stars off me if this could be corrected.

The staff, location, it’s quiet and is a great hotel. Except for the sheets.

The sheets don’t fit the beds. I am tall so it means your feet get tangled on the creases of the sheet as they don’t fit the bed.

Great location, friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out process, very comfortable bed and room.

Not exceptional but clean, convenient and somewhat comfortable

Cleaning was exceptional. Bed made perfectly. Location next to Westfield was very convenient.

I was woken up by a fire alarm at 6am when I was in Sydney for night time activities. An hour passed before the all clear but I wasn't able to get back to sleep due to light under blackout curtains. Downstairs cafe was regularly unattended late morning meaning I had to detour to start the day multiple times. Rooms were functional but small with no microwave. Chromecast was OK for Netflix but YouTube would hang. Parking is $20 a night but Westfield parking was free in the evening and for short periods. Carpark was also having issues the first night (gate stuck open) but I was charged for that night when I paid in advance (while other carpark users weren't) so do not recommend this. If it wasn't for the 5 star quality of the housekeeping staff, this would've been a 6/10 review.

My stay was pleasant and hassle-free.

I wasn't able to have breakfast as I was staying overnight at the hotel because of its proximity to Hurstville Private Hospital. The service was efficient and the facilities modern and in working order.

Good but not good enough

From day one we noticed that the door wasn't closing to the locking position as all you had to do was push it open I went to the service desk and informed the staff of the problem and to notify the service staff to ensure that the door is closed properly we went on our outings once back at the hotel we noticed that the door wasn't locked properly so we called them up to complain that they haven't followed our installation on locking our door . They had a matenance bloke come and said that he had to take it dawn so he can repair it only after we leave, on a few occasions after we got back the door was left unlocked after 5 complaints no one got in contact from management apart from service staff they offered us a bottle of wine as we are non drinkers it was useless to us .

I can recommend the Travel Lodge for a night's stay, clean, tidy and comfortable rooms.

The room was very clean and tidy with nice colour scheme. I liked the design of the room and the bathroom was excellent. It was a comfy bed too.

Unfortunately, it was raining outside which made a loud metallic ping noise on the frame of the balcony door. The Aircon was loud as well but perhaps I may not have noticed it had my sleep not been interrupted by rain.

Love this hotel.

Great location, across the road from a large Westfield, this newish hotel does not fail to impress. Large clean room with basic facilities and a comfortable king bed. Coffee shop in the reception area, fast lifts, and the Central Club next door has great meals at reasonable prices.

Great location

Excellent location. Easy walk to train station. Close to shopping, bars and restaurants. Great airconditioned room, with a very comfortable enormous bed. The staff were very helpful. We will be back.

The tv was an excellent size and being chromecast compatible was awesome. The shower/bathroom facilities felt luxurious. It was in an awesome position for the shopping at Westfield next door.

The room and bathroom are very well designed and spacious.

1. Only one chair to share between 2 guests 2. Reception not always being attended during the day 3. Have to validate parking ticket every time when leaving the carpark. Should use the room key to get in and out after checking in.

I loved it overall, but won’t pay for breakfast next time.

Everything was fantastic and so comfortable and clean. Location was great right across from shopping centre. Parking was easy.

I paid to have breakfast included but this was not great. It was just a small cafe in the lobby and they didn’t cater for food intolerances. Next time I won’t get breakfast included but will head over to the shopping centre and go to one of those cafes.
