The Village Inn is be the perfect place for a small family gathering where everyone could have their separate rooms, but could also enjoy the common rooms and large kitchen. It also has basement facilities for biking and skiing equipment. The rooms are like suites, exceptionally clean with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and TV with both cable and streaming channels.
Unfortunately, we were there for just one night as a halfway point during a long drive home from Canada. It would have been great if we could have spent more time there to take advantage of the hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, and quaint local surroundings

Very clean. Beautiful grounds right next to a brook.
Try to get a room away from the road. The Inn is right next to the road and we were in a room right next to it. Lots of car noise. Not much the owners can do about that. Most of the other rooms were a bit farther back so I am guessing less noise. Otherwise the place was great.

It was nicer than the average “converted ski dorm”. Centrally located, there were several good places to eat within walking distance.
The floors were a bit like being aboard s ship but that happens in old buildings in Vermont, and I am not as steady in me pins as I once was, so there was that.
Otherwise a lovely, low-key place to R&R.

Great location in E. Burke village. Many upgrades since the last time we stayed there, 3 years ago. Rooms are very comfortable & the common kitchen and library/TV room are welcome gathering places. Love the hot tub for apres ski soaking.
I miss the complementary breakfast service. Perhaps we're a bit old-fashioned, but this place used to be an inn offering an exceptional complementary breakfast. Prices went up with the recent change in ownership. The new owners are welcoming & the place looks great, but losing a great morning meal... I dunno. It got us out the door in the morning to dine at the Cafe Lotti across the street, which was really nice, but extra cost & effort.

We love that we feel as though we are home when we come stay at the Village Inn. Staff is amazing and it is right in the comfort of all that is downtown including biking form the Inn to the Kingdom Trails. The hot tub is a great bonus outside as well :)
