Large, spacious, comfortable home with lots provided, as little things help make a great stay.

Great kitchen. Well-stocked with good quality equipment. They’d thought of a lot of things one would need. There DVDs, books to read, washing detergent, soap/washing up detergent, clothesline etc. Hubby appreciated all the little extras you don’t always get.

Not enough pegs for the clothesline, even making clothes ‘share’ them. A few small maintenance things needed repair - bathroom tap and toilet seat - but nothing that’d stop us from staying there again. Lots of beds. Not all were firm enough. One was too soft and another had a lumpy mattress protector.

Insanely amazing stay with a big yard for my puppy to run about in and warm floors and blankets! TV and sound system was pretty lit for watching movies

A very comfortable and warm, homely stay.

We arrived in very cold weather and really appreciated the warmth of their fireplace. We only needed to use half of the house, but it would easily have accommodated a large family. It was very well equipped and we were able to make our home-cooked meals which we enjoyed after weeks on the road. It was located close to the town of Kingscote.

The grass had not been mowed even though the owners were aware of our stay. Then, we looked out the window towards the end of our stay and a young boy was mowing. He had not introduced himself or made us aware of his presence, which could have led to an embarrassing situation!!!! A quick knock to let us know what he was doing would have been appreciated.

A good central location for a few days on Kangaroo island

Spacious and very home like and the few items in the pantry were helpful

Suited our needs perfectly We did have to get help from the owner to enter as door lock was tricky Very few facilities open on a Saturday ( grocery store good) Best to take all requirements as limited restaurants

Very well maintained!

The host was flexible and accommodating on our arrival time/date due to ferry conditions. The home was extremely well maintained and ready for everything our family needed. I would highly recommend this property! The location was also very close to the local town with groceries and dining.

Spacious, value particularly for groups of 4 or 5.

Location was handy for tastings near Kingscote. It was also walkable into Kingscote. The house was spacious and clean. The large square dining table was good for playing board games. Beds were good. Fridge spacious. Dishwasher handy.

The toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet properly and we were worried we would break it. It didn't appear to be the right size.

The place exceeded my expectations. It was cozy and comfy. A proper property for a group of friends or family. The property was well equipped with all the amenities and extras that we could ever need. Indoor fireplace was a plus for me.

A very comfortable property for groups looking to be out of the main tourist areas and self cater

Key features were the very comfortable beds and spacious living area with full kitchen including coffee machine and pantry items. Wifi and chromecast were very good options as tv reception was patchy. Having a working laundry was excellent and the whole set up was very enjoyable as 'a home away from home'.

A sign somewhere indicating the property was Campbell Casa would have helped with the somewhat confusing street numbers; #6 in booking information and actual number on the property is #6A. If i can add a suggestions it would be that some of the furniture was a bit sparse in the bedrooms - no bed side tables or lamps in some rooms. A reading lamp in the lounge would be good too.

Exceptional

I loved everything about this place! I just needed a place to stay for one night while my camper van was being fixed and did a google and this place came up. I had a quick look at the photos but didn't really need to look much because it was so awesome. Such a nice, beautiful little country home. I rang Catherine because I had a question and she answered it straight away and had no problems or hesitation staying on the phone with me for however long until all my questions were answered. She was awesome! It's just a short walk to Kingscote to so that was no problem at all! And the price! For a four bedroom home that sleeps 6, it was amazing! But the main thing I loved was the shower head! Oh my goodness! It was awesome! It was like staying in the warm rain! So good! And the bed was really comfy to! All in all, it was an awesome stay with a great price and I would have no hesitation In recommending this place to someone and staying there again!!!❤️❤️❤️

Holiday home away from home

Great location in town but quietly situated away from the main road. This is an actual 4 bedrooms house with fully equipped kitchen, spacious living dining area, laundry room and separate toilet and shower. Nice home away from home!
