Good location with nice view.

Perfect location.

No Netflix on the TV in the living room. The window in the bathroom wasn’t clean full of debris.

Very enjoyable. Just about right for us far enough from the town to enjoy a lovely walk through the

Superb location. Fantastic view from each room.

We would have liked more information on accessing the key safe. Although we had the number we found it difficult to open the safe.

Location and the river view is a huge plus. Also property is very cosy, quiet and well maintained

No complaints- one small thing is the kettle didn’t always work, only mentioning this so can be changed. Everything was excellent

Loved the accommodation, the people, the pubs and the area. A great holiday

Clean, modern and spacious. Great location - within a five minute walk of the town centre / castle.

The plumbing was quite loud!

We had a lovely time after a few hiccups and shopping trips to get what was missing

Extremely clean, comfy beds, wonderful location

Providing a comprehensive welcome package is greatly needed. The lack of information regarding the WiFi password (I had to contact Katrina), how to work the washer, etc spoiled our arrival. Also, although not necessary, a nice welcome basket with perhaps bread, eggs, cake and milk is always appreciated. I had to go and buy a hairdryer as I couldn’t see one and then found one stuffed in a drawer on our last day. For me, the glass floor feature freaked me out and I think a rug to go over it would be a good idea for an easy fix. I also think it is an accident waiting to happen to leave the hatch unlocked giving access to the dangerous steps, just my opinion I also had to purchase a hand whisk and kitchen scissors

Stunning property we loved it overall

Fantastic location extremely clean practically everything provided you could wish for

For us the WiFi was rubbish and we would have preferred to have good internet but for someone who wants to be off the grid it’s perfect

Wonderful flat, excellent location

Wonderful location. Can both see and hear the river from a bedroom. Very handy for the town. Very cosy living room/kitchen with all one's needs provided.

To be really fussy, and only a teeny little niggle, a reading light near the sofa would have been good

Concern about getting trapped in an emergency spoilt our stay.

Apartment was clean & tidy and nice, beds were comfortable, well equipped, view out of back bedroom was lovely

Entrance door lock faulty, got trapped inside and had to use knife to get it open, worst thing was this had been reported 3 times last summer and it still hadn't been replaced, this is a FIRE safety issue of great concern to us. No outside space at all so no barbeque area as advertised. Couldn't see the river when sitting in lounge, front bedroom suffers from road noise, double yellow lines outside front door (busy road), you are 8 steps below street level, problem getting BBC 1 & 2 on tele, settee too low for us.

There was everything in the flat that we needed plus just a short walk and we were in the town centr

A pyrex jug that’s all that was missing the trays for the oven need replacing apart from that every thing was spot on

Lovely apartment

The location is great. Parking was easy along the road. Everything we needed was available.

Not that we didn't like them but the main bedroom bed could be a little bigger and the pillows could do with been thicker. (No spare pillows either). Tv doesn't have many apps and not available to download things such as 4od etc. Just like to mention the door lock isn't great it's difficult to unlock from the inside, bit of a fire safety risk.

Picturesque and fab location, clean and very comfortable, we enjoyed our stay!

The apartment was really clean, lovely ESPA products in bathroom and bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch too. The kitchen was well equipped. We couldn’t get a signal on our phones, however the internet was great so were able to use WhatsApp to message and make calls. There was no problem with parking and the location was perfect for walking into the centre of Barnard Castle. We would definitely book again!

There is nothing we didn’t like.
