The design is ideal for a small group of people
The water was to hot and there was no way to turn the temp down. There were no batteries in the tv remote to watch tv. We had to use a bath mat as a tea towel/oven glove and there wasn’t any toilet rolls in either bathrooms. The bedside lamp was missing a lightbulb in the main bedroom. The outside bin area was full of overflowing rubbish (we were informed this was there to be fare).

The house was comfortable and the location was superb most especially the access and closeness to shopping! Travelling to other parts of London was quite easy.
Dirty plates left in the kitchen by previous occupant and the constant smell from the toilet close to the living room & kitchen was very uncomfortable. The pipe needs to be inspected and fixed.

It was really lovely house, had amazing amenities!
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms which really accommodated to our needs!
Cleaning supplies were available which we used to clean before we left!
The owner was very understanding and there was great communication between us!

The property had the necessary amount of beds and two bathrooms. The property served its purpose.
The cleanliness, the odor, the trash in the yard and the beeping smoke detector from lack of batteries.

Nothing at all.
This is the dirtiest accomodation I have ever stayed at and I have been travelling a lot. The front yard was full of rubbish and dead plants. The litter bins were full. The flat had an unpleasant and musty smell. The first restroom left such an ugly smell that you couldn't spend a second in that room. The floor was full of food waste (e.g. strawberries under the sofa and crumbs) and long black hairs everywhere, even in the shower. The washbasins and mirrors in both restrooms were covered with ugly spots. The inside of the wardrobes was a mess, filled with dirty towels. Unfortunatly, we couldn'd find any clean ones. Additionally, the bedding had not been changed and smelt nasty. Some pillows were full of little dark spots. It looked like mould. We were six people but there were just two small double beds. The sofa was not suitable for sleeping. It was full of crumbs and dirty. We even found a used knife covered with leftovers between the pillows. No one even wanted to sit on it. On top of that there were just 3 chairs and a broken one. The cooker did not work and the inside of the oven was so disgusting that we immediately closed it again. That oven hasn't been cleaned for months. In the drawer with the cutlery there were leftovers too so we didn't use the dishes in that flat.
It was neither possible to accommodate six people in that flat nor to sleep well there. I complained about the condition of that flat but the owner did not react.

Checking in was easy. The place was spacious and has great potential.
As you will see in "things we didn't like" below, there were lots of issues with the state of the place. But I do have to point out that Laura was responsive and really did her best to mitigate the situation. She offered a partial refund of £100 for our troubles, which helps, but the overall experience was not positive. What I can say however, is that Laura did seem to do everything within her reach to help, so I dont want to dissuade others from staying there. This is a new property with lots of potential and with practice and experience I trust she'll get it right.
The front of the property was littered with rubbish. The garden had a plant pot full of cigarrete butts and a paper plate with an unknown substance on it. And dead plants.
Waking through front door, the smell hit you in the face. I initially thought it was from all the dirty laundry that had been shoved into the boiler room (fire hazard), but turns out it was a return valve in the toilet.
Looking closer, we realised the bed sheets hadn't been changed, although the beds were "made". There were bags of laundry in the second bedroom, which we later discovered was also dirty. The clean stuff was in the big wardrobe in the main bedroom.
The sofa bed had crumbs all over, it was filthy. Then when we opened it, all the bedding was still there from the previous guests.
I slept in the living room. Sofa bed is unstable, you can't even sit on the bed without causing the whole thing to buckle. I tried laying down and it was impossible. There was a nasty bar right on my feet. Mattress on the floor it is then. But that wasn't even the biggest problem of sleeping in the living room. It was the terrible smell from the bathroom. Every time I moved in my sleep that smell smacked into me and I woke up - had I not been exhausted, I wouldn't have slept at all. And there's a massive skylight right above the living room that will guarantee you to be flooded with sunlight and wake you up. And no curtains for the window panes by the front door - so basically, I'd say this place is absolutely not for 6 people. Living room shouldn't count.
Also there was a fishtank which looked dirty with only 1 tiny fish in it. I wasn't that put off by it, but my family were. It was a bit off putting.
Also, the whole place is painted black (walls, ceiling, the lot). Strange choice.
We were meant to stay 2 nights, but we only stayed 1. Laura informed me she had the placed cleaned during the day, but it was too late for us.
