Very noisy traffic all day and early morning but realize nothing could be done about that.

Very convenient for Glyndebourne. We also enjoyed the facilities in the lovely village Alfriston.

Breakfast not provided (and not expected). Location very good but access from a car to the property difficult for me using (temporarily) a zimmer frame. The lay-out, condition and equipment of the property all excellent.

Great for short stays

Great location for centre of Alfriston village. Nice quaint area. Property fine for a couple of nights, squeezes in alot to this small space. A few more kitchen items than expected. Good WiFi, as phone signal limited. Deskfan was great to help in hot weather, mini hairdryer and mini iron also available, all useful. Good pub and village shop. Would stay again if visiting or travelling through the area. Worth reading other reviews too.

All minor points... Handy to have a description to key safe along with code sent, property manager responded quick though. Busy road at times, but expected. No parking, but found free parking nearby next to church green, paid parking available elsewhere in village. Having proper fridge, larger bathroom sink, newer mattress, and airfryer or similar, would then recommend longer stays.

Cosy, warm, clean and nicely decorated accommodation and perfectly situated for a short stay.

Not having a TV. Not having a proper little fridge. Not having a kitchenette unit housing a little hob and oven. A microwave only is fine and understandable for the space allocated to the kitchen area but it's limits what you may want to prepare yourself after a long day out and about.

amazing location, essentials (towels, toiletries, etc) provided

The lodge did have a fridge, didn’t specify that it’s a wine fridge that doesn’t go lower than 11 degrees. The place looked clean overall but the bottom of bedding sheet was dirty. I just hope the sheets were fresh and clean prior to our arrival.

A beautiful, compact apartment, but our stay was spoiled by traffic noise and fumes

Breakfast was not included and we did not expect it. While the location would, at other times of the year, be convenient, in the height of Summer it was incredibly noisy with cars and lorries thundering past continuously. Furthermore, lorries were queuing just outside the apartment creating noxious fumes. We had to keep the windows closed.

It would have been nice if fans had been provided and bottled water in the fridge. Some acknowledgement by the owner that, because of the heatwave and the location of the apartment, our comfort might be compromised.

Cool lodge in a great location

Fantastic location - great use of space and has a cool vibe

Right on the road through Alfriston so quite a bit of traffic noise. We had to pay to park the car in a nearby car park as there were no free spaces anywhere close to the property

Lovely well thought out studio in brilliant location

Cheeky little lodge property in great location. Great use of space and really well thought out. Games, lovely decor, comfortable, brilliant WiFi. We really enjoyed it.

A bit ‘spider-y’ and only a half a loo roll. However, not enough of a problem to ruin a lovely stay.

We had an enjoyable stay but my husband had very little sleep.

Good location, very clean.

Bed very small, husband very tall and had no sleep. No TV. Lack of towels, just 2 small ones not enough.
