The house was awesome - a great location near the heart of SoCo, an easy walk to downtown, nicely furnished - we loved our stay! Very clean and well furnished.

The property was great. I wish the back yard had been cut so that we could enjoy the outdoors more. Everything was just as shown and yhe location was awesome. Was able to get around driving or walking with jo problem. Only issue was the floors were not as clean, and it may be because the cleaning crew was running behind. Thank you for allowing us access to your property. Great girls trip.

Conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Austin, as well as a short walk to the bus tiling Congress Ave, this cozy abode was a great place to stay. Clean with great indoor and outdoor space. As mentioned above, a short walk to the numerous shops and eateries on Congress Ave too. Communication with the property manager was easy and open.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Family of 5 visited Austin in April. We were very pleased with this house. Spacious, clean, great amenities. Loved having a backyard to hang out and eat. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. So nice for a family to have a kitchen to cook and store food. Location is amazing! We were to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. A car is not required in such a walkable neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Beautiful neighborhood. All around pleased guests. Oh, it can get hot in Austin but the A/C works super well!

The property was very nice. The host was extremely polite and helpful. The location was great for us as we could navigate easily to our destinations.
When we took the plastic bag out of the kitchen trash can, it was FILTHY. The only other issue, for us, was not enough wash cloths and hand towels. I would recommend this property for sure

The property was the absolute perfect location for our friend meetup for a weekend away! We walked nearly everywhere and the location was ideal. The house itself was just as advertised and again - a great fit for our needs (three 40 something friends). Communication with management was easy and I would stay again!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, well equipped home near good food and shopping. I would come back here if I make it back to Austin.

The location was great, close to South Congress and 1st Ave. We walked to shops and restaurants and also walked to Lake Austin. The grocery store is a few minutes away by car.
Driving everywhere was easy. We parked in the driveway which was convenient. The street is quiet and pretty.
On the inside everything worked well. The rooms were comfy. Kitchen had everything. Plants were in need of some watering.

Rental was very comfortable, clean and in a great location for Austin. With the rental being just off of South Congress, there were many restaurant options and shopping within walking distance. The neighborhood felt very safe.
Highly recommend The Salty which was a short distance from the rental for gourmet donuts and coffee.
If you are arriving earlier than checkin, there is an option for you to store your luggage for an extremely reasonable rate and is located just a couple blocks from the rental. My recommendation is to get that exact location of temporary storage from the property manager. We were a little unclear as to the process and the location of the storage is a business right on Congress street.
Highly recommend the LBJ Library if you are interested in history and strolling around the beautiful state capitol grounds. Also recommend visiting wine country just west of Austin. William Chris Vineyards outside of Fredericksburg is a beautiful winery definitely worth visiting.
BBQ choices were overwhelming in this great city! We did experience County Line BBQ on the lake and it was absolutely delicious!
When in season, seeing the bats emerge from the Congress bridge from a boat on the Colorado River at dusk is an awesome experience.
To summarize, I would recommend this rental for an Austin
visit!

Me and my family had an amazing time. We came to Austin for motorcycle racing at COTA. A friend told us to stay in the South Congress area, because there was lots to do and it wasn’t far from the track. We found this great house and it was a perfect location. You are so close to great restaurants and cute shops while having a lot of privacy. The house was great, it was clean and had every amenity we needed. Ames was amazing to deal with. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a fabulous spot to stay! The location can’t be beat, being it is within walking distance of South Congress (ie Magnolia Cafe, etc) … the hosts/management team were awesome and super communicative. We rented the place and had family travel in to do Thanksgiving dinner, which is tough at home, much less an Airbnb but it worked out great. We needed a few things during our stay and STR Management was prompt & urgent about dealing with our needs! Next time we are in Austin with a group we will definitely be back!

The house was clean and in a fantastic location. The bathrooms could have used more linens. I think there were five towels total for the three bedroom house. The kitchen could use some cooking tools. Beds were comfortable but no extra bedding/blanket. Pretty bare bones, but overall excellent location and good stay if you are just looking for a place to lay your head after exploring the city.

Great place and convenient. Wish there was an easier walk in. It’s in back and you walk through what feels like 3 properties to access home.
Once in its great though!

We had a wonderful experience at the Johanna #B, which is a great location within walking distance to S Congress Ave and all the shops and restaurants. House was very clean and communication with management company and owners was great with quick response to our inquiries.
8.0 / 10.0
The home is surprisingly quiet. While near interesting shops on S Congress, it’s a very private setting. The light and airy space is lovely, as is the back deck. I’d gladly stay again. The beds sleep hot due to plastic-ish mattress covers, and you should pack washcloths to use beyond the first day. Those things didn’t mar our trip because the rest of the house is fantastic!

Everything about this was awesome. First VRBO and won't be the last.
Location location location. Walking distance to so many great things in Austin. Short driving distance to most of the others. And the property spotless and well-appointed.

Great spot in a great location!
We didn't really get to spend a ton of time at the property since we were in Austin for a work event. That being said, the location couldn't have been much better - super close to all of the fun South Congress spots. The house is very cute and clean, with plenty of room throughout. Great for a group of friends or couples. The yard looked really cute - if we had more time and if it wasn't 120 degrees, we definitely would have hung out there!

This house was exceptional! Not only was the house easy to find and just steps away from South Congress, check- in was easy. The photos are exactly what you get- a clean and tidy house. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Nice Place in Austin
The Johanna house worked great for our Holiday stay in Austin. House was clean, updated, comfortable, and well equipped. Neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were nice. Location was perfect for our outings and restaurants. Management responded promptly to our questions and needs. Problems we encountered were resolved, the Roku was unplugged, once we figured that out, it worked fine; we unplugged the WiFi by mistake, and take note- the dishwasher is connected to a switch on wall. We enjoyed Christmas brunch on nice deck in backyard. Thanks.
