We had an enjoyable stay. Excellent communication with the owners, property had all we needed and more. Great location, ample parking and perfect size dock to anchor our boat to and play off of.
Only con, as others mentioned, was the steep trail down to the water. Requires proper footwear and stability. Wasn’t an issue for us since we’re all adults in decent shape. We didn’t have young ones or elderly people with us.

Wonderful time great property

We had a great time! Loved the place. Plenty of room for our large group. We had a few brave, agile people that made it down to the dock. Wouldn’t really advertise it as lake accessible. Would absolutely recommend and/or stay again.

The private dock was an amazing addition to have only 10-15 minute boat ride from State Dock. I would love to stay here again!

House was beautiful, owner was very nice
Couple down sides- seemed like some of the beds had bot been used in awhile and had some dirt in them, TVs were all in spanish so we couldnt watch anything (tried to fix it but it seemed the setting was locked).
DO NOT COUNT ON GETTING TO THE DOCK
Booked the house to be able to float from the dock. The walk down was so steep and rocky that we ended up having to rent a pontoon which we did not want to do spend money on.
The seller was very open about the walk being rough but it was near impossible. She did say they were getting steps in the fall so that might help, but that will still be a ton of very steep steps.

The home was the perfect gathering place for a family reunion. The kitchen was well equipped with every gadget a cook could need. Everyone loved the family room downstairs and the screened in porch with fireplace. The hosts were very thoughtful. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

We just loved this property! It is beautiful home with a fully stocked kitchen, beautifully decorated furnishings and an amazing game room/tv room downstairs. My 8 girlfriends and I, ages 70 +, had the best time on the lake and then came home to enjoy the comfort of this home. We just couldn't get enough of drinking coffee in the morning and having cocktails on the back porch. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay . The lake house was everything the website described. The screened in porch with working wood fireplace was our favorite part of our stay we spent most all of our time relaxing with a fire . The basement is very nice , we enjoyed listening to music, and playing pool . If I had anything to complain about the property it would be the water pressure, it was terrible , very low pressure which made it impossible to enjoy the walk in shower . Other than that the place is incredibly.

My husband and I invited our children (his & mine) to vacation at Lake Cumberland and bond as a family. It worked out great and everyone had a great time...from age 1 to 68. Beautiful property. Boating, tubing, jet skis, s'mores, fires, games...perfect!

There were alot of us and we had a blast. So much to do at the home and the kids had the best time. The dock access was a little sketchy due to the recent flooding, but other than that it was all amazing!!!!

We loved everything about this home. Our group of 15 (6 adults and 9 kids) had a wonderful time and could not have asked for a more beautiful place to spend the weekend. Jill was proactive in communicating with us, and very responsive with our few questions. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the home had more games and activities for the kids than I ever would have imagined. You can tell when you enter that this house is loved by its owners, and you will feel lucky to enjoy your coffee on the back porch with views that can’t be beat! The dock is a serious hike to get down to, but worth every step. We will certainly be back!!

Great place for a large family vacation!
Overall we had a nice stay! We loved being able to see the lake from the back porch and the screened in porch was wonderful-especially the day it rained, so we could still be outside but not be wet. I'm thankful we read the description that you cannot park your boat trailer at the house - as we drove in we realized why - the roads are very narrow and there are bushes on either side of the road at some parts that make it tight to drive through. They have an alternate place to park your boat/trailer which was very convenient to get to and they were easy to work with in getting those details figured out. There is a small charcoal grill on the deck. Our contact for the house was always very quick to respond and help when we had a question about the house!

Perfect girls trip!!!
We had the perfect girls trip!! It was for our family and we ranged in age from 16-76. This house was perfect. We had enough space to spread out or be together. The house is decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.

We had a great weekend with family and enjoyed our stay but I feel the property was overpriced considering the following:
1.) The check-in process was very disorganized and frustrating. I didn’t get any notification from the host “Evolve”about the check-in & check out process and protocols until approx. 23 min. after the check-in time of 4:00PM on 10/16/21 even after sending several messages with no reply. Our family who arrived approx. 18 min. early we’re forced to wait outside in the cold until we arrived and finally got the code to enter the property.
2.) We couldn’t sit outside on the upper deck at night because the lights wouldn’t work. We checked the breaker box in the basement to find out that the breaker to those lights was bad and couldn’t be repaired without replacing it or finding the short in the wiring which may have caused it to occur.
3.) The fire-stick adapter and/or remote wasn’t working or had connection issues in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Therefore no TV could be watched in that room.
4.) One of the biggest issues I had that literally everyone at one point or another complained about was the smell in the basement. It strongly smelled like sewage waste. After further investigation of this issue we found that there was what appeared to be a sewage leak of some kind in the utility closet in the basement. There was also a box on the outer wall that said “TANK ALERT Alarm System” and had a red warning light on constant the whole time. So we assumed this must’ve been some pre-existing re-occurring issue as it appeared from the stains on the concrete floor to not have been the first time.
For all the above reasons I think the cost of the rental property didn’t match up with what I feel we should’ve gotten for our money. If I were to give it an overall rating I’d say 3 out of 5 at best.

We played games every night, spent a day on the lake in my son's boat. We accidentally took beach towels - they turned up in my son-in-laws truck. They did not know the towels belonged to the rental house. We will wash and mail them to you, or gladly send money for replacement. i am so sorry that happened. We would never steal.
