My family and another family stayed here for 6 days total for a baseball tournament our sons were playing. It was perfect! The perfect amount of space for 4 adults and 7 kids to spread out. We had our own space away from all the kids. The rooms were perfect. The property manager was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again!

This Cabin is absolutely amazing! We had our family of five and six groomsmen stay for four nights. We had plenty of room plenty of fun and lots of laughs. The large tables for games and eating are excellent. The kitchen with two ovens kept up with all our meals. The foosball table was a hit. The property is big, but not a lot to do outside, we brought along our cornhole boards and played on the driveways. We were preparing for a wedding so the only downfall was the one refrigerator for that size Cabin. It really should have two refrigerators. Also, there is no TV in the family room or in the main bedroom, we would stay here again most definitely!!

This was a great place to stay for our annual family MLK weekend. So much space and the cleanliness of the house was unbelievable. We could not have asked for a better place for our getaway with our children and grandchildren.

House was perfect for a group of guys to go hiking and attend the Notre Dame vs Clemson football game.

Had a great weekend and loved the Cabin in the Woods. Jon (property manager was fantastic from start to finish). The house was perfect except for the fact that the huge living room upstairs did not have a TV and was the only space in the house large enough for 9 of us to gather and watch some NCAA football which is one of the things we love to do together after playing a round of golf. I should have checked the listing more carefully but this has not ever happened to us in 10+ years of these gatherings. Otherwise the place was great.

This property was beyond our expectations in a great way. It was spotless, well thought out, tucked in the woods but felt very safe. These owners thought of every detail and I almost don't want to leave a review because it is now the only place I want to stay when visiting the area. There is not one negative thing I can say about this cabin and I am pretty picky. Beyond grateful for the amazing accommodations we had for a long family birthday weekend. This place is the gold standard of rental properties.

The cabin was well stocked and had plenty of space for us to spread out. We felt comfortable and right at home. The fun lights downstairs was a big hit with taking fun photos and small dance sessions. We enjoyed going to Pretty Place and The Happy Berry. Loved having the large table to spread out and play games on and had plenty of foosball fun as well. All the extra cozy blankets came in handy while watching movies.

Perfect place for family gathering. Great kitchen/dining table. Had a wonderful time!

We arrived just before check-in and the property manager notified us to go ahead and enter which was a very nice gesture. The home was hign on the mountainside tucked in the trees. Its secluded and a very nice spot. The cabin is spacious with three levels so lots of space for friends and family. The kitchen is stocked to cook meals. The stove was tricky due to limited cookware types that work on the stove surface. Once we figured thet out, it was easy to use.
The only suggestions would be to add a TV to the livingroom and upstairs master suite. Lighting is somewhat limited and could use some more brightness in the living spaces and upstairs master suite.
We would stay again for sure. It was an enjoyable week in a comfy cabin. Thanks for a great experience.

A group of old friends wanted to get together somewhere remote to relax. We found this cabin. There was enough space for the 13 of us. Enough TVs that the kids weren't fighting over what to watch. Enough room for us to eat together. Ingles is close, so we had ready access to supplies. Basically, this place met our needs perfectly.
We also accidently stumbled on the Hagwood Mill Historic Site. It was quite a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon outside.

Beds, Baths, and Dining area were great. No working main fireplace for a rustic cabin. Owner asked us to allow a handyman to enter the property but never showed out of four times a time as set for entrance. Owner stated the Heat Pump would not work in times of extreme cold. Asked us to use the fireplace and fans to heat the property. The main large fireplace was not operational the whole time we were there. No one wanted to use the smaller fireplace overnight due to the main fireplace leaking gas issues.
Kitchen had breakers trip when using the coffee pot, stove, oven, and a pancake griddle at the same time. Owner asked us to use the living room and dining room to cook in. We could not control the heat during the most coldest nights. Owner had control of the heat and it was at 68 degrees in 11 degree weather. When asked about a discount Owner admitted to using cameras on the property and denied a discount because we had 18 people at the property one night - we rented the property for 14 people but had our wedding caterer (consisted of four people deliver food after the kitchen) and Owner wanted to charge us for the delivery people. We never had more than 12 sleeping at the property. Most nights we had only 4 people sleeping at the property. Beautiful place if the cabin had working services. Driveway is steep and slippery in rain and icy conditions. Ask questions about working services at this property before renting. We were not notified of the issues until 12 hours before entrance to the property.

We all loved the cabin the woods. It was very convenient for our family of nine, here for our sons wedding. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The cabin is much bigger than it looks. We had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

All of my best friends stayed at the house and I was able to have friends, family and my son and now wife gathered around that wonderful table to laugh and share stories of their growing up. The house has the very best places to gather and talk. It is completely secluded - not another house to be seen. The house is the perfect cabin in the woods.

We all had a great time. The only thing is that I wish that I new that the bedrooms were in the basement . Only one bedroom was on the main floor.

Beautiful log home
We really enjoyed our stay at this large family home! We were in town celebrating our son’s wedding. The home in Pickens was a good location for us, as we had events in Travelers Rest, Pretty Place Chapel, and Table Rock State Park. The house is nicely appointed and very roomy and comfortable.

Amazing Views
The pictures on website definitely doesn't give justice to how great this place looks inside and out. The attention to detail in the decor, the comfort, and everything for daily living makes this place a great place for large family getaway. The views from every window and patio were truly amazing. Great places to hike near by!!! Ingles grocery 10 to 15 minutes away. Great place to recharge and getaway from it all! I would like to thank the owner of this property for making our stay possible. I will definitely stay here again in the future. ❤️

Amazing place to stay!
The cabin was everything we had hoped for, and more. It was very spacious, even with our large group, everyone had their own space. The beds were one of the best that we've had. Overall a great experience!

Perfect mountain cabin
This cabin was perfect for our families! You enter on the middle level with a spacious living room with beautiful beams. There is a large dining room with a large table for great family meals. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also laundry, a beautiful deck with views of the mountains, a half bathroom, and twin pull-out bedroom on the main level.
If you go up to the loft there is a beautiful king bedroom and full bathroom that is very quiet.
In the bottom level of the house are 2 full bathrooms, and 4 more bedrooms, and a game room.
The house was very spacious and with 12 people we did not use all of the bedrooms and were very comfortable. Lots of room for kids to play inside and out. There is a very neat uphill road to the cabin and a rounded driveway with lots of parking. You feel like you are in the mountains with no one around- very secluded.
The cabin is within close distance to lots of activities. We hiked in Table Rock State Park, visited beautiful Twin Falls, and went to Sassafras Mountain (beautiful 360 dregree views of the Blue Ridge mountains).
We would definitely stay here again! The owners/property managers were very responsive. Everything about our cabin trip was wonderful! We will definitely be returning!

Cabin in the Woods
We were a group of eight family members. Three of those were little boys ages 2-8. We had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for us to be comfortable. The cabin was always cool with such hot days outside. Having the laundry room was a plus when you're hiking and fishing. We loved the decor of the cabin. Every thing was supplied as far as paper products and linens. It was so nice to spend time together in a wonderful rental. Fun tip: It's a great place to play hide and seek.
