We really enjoyed our stay and communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The location is nice and quiet and not too far from Ellsworth. Unfortunately it is a fairly busy road with no shoulder so there’s no easy way to walk or anywhere from the house. I’d definitely recommend this place for exploring the Ellsworth and Mt. Desert Island area.

The property was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the open design plan. Perfect place for three boys and my husband. We absolutely loved looking out to the bay. So much to do within a close distance. Will definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your property.
Warm regards, Julie and Family

Family of 4 stayed 5 nights. Kids lived that there were games available in the house and we played every night. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Easy access to Acadia and anywhere else you want to be.

Very clean and tidy property! The location is private with a nice view and about a 35 minute drive to the Hull’s Cove Visitor Center at Acadia. The deck outside is a good spot to sit and relax. The kitchen is one of the best equipped for a VRBO that we’ve ever stayed in. The living room is cozy with lots of seating and a big TV. Internet was great so we were able to stream our own TV service. We had a great time!

The home was not on the water but since it is up on a hill, the elevation provided a wonderful water view over / past the homes across the street. The home was well equipped with all of the "normal" kitchen gadgetry so home cooking was not a problem. It's a perfect size for two couples or 5 people.

Cottage was warm and inviting, well appointed and spacious. The kitchen was well equiped. A quite rural setting with an evellent views of the bay lands beyond. We loved our homeaway from home. Easy drives to our chosen visitation spots.

Replace towels with newer ones and add more of them. Have a hairdryer in at least one bathroom. Other than that excellent.

It was exactly as pictured with a beautful view of the water. Very easy to get to and check in was a breeze. It took us about 15 min to get into the park. The town itself had some great food and icecream! We genuinely enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back.

The property was exactly what I was looking for in order to have a relaxing vacation with my husband. The property was clean, exactly as pictured in the listing and had a great location ( about 20 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor). Susan was easy to communicate with and the check in and check out processes were straight forward and simple. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

This property was amazing. It was exactly as pictured in the listing. If I could buy a home in Maine, I would want this one. The views are spectacular. The location was ideal. It was close, but not too close, to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We definitely would stay here again.

This was our first extended vacation rental and it was the perfect choice. The house was as beautiful as the listing showed, and the kitchen and pantry were stocked with all the essentials like cooking utensils, toilet paper, garbage bags, spices, firewood, cleaning supplies, etc. We loved the peacefulness of sitting on the outdoor deck, grilling on the bbq, the fully stocked bookshelves, and made good use of the many board games for family time!
The only hiccup we had was an issue with hot water for the first couple days but Susan, the Property Manager, was fantastic. She kept in constant contact with us until the issue was resolved and was beyond kind. She manages nearly a hundred properties but takes the time to personally reach out and make all her guests feel valued.
Thank you so much for making our family vacation restful, wonderful, and the perfect home away from home. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful place…SPOTLESS……peaceful and quiet….. Susan was easy to work with and quick to respond…close but far enough from the town…. Will recommend to friends❤️❤️

This was a nice property in a good location. Not too busy of an area with good access to Acadia (~30 min to anywhere). There are wonderful sunset views from both inside and outside the house (porch or firepit). The kitchen is well stocked with good quality cookware and utensils. I would stay here again.

We did a family trip with our adult sons. This is a well cared for home that has all the things to make dinner, including a lobster cooker. Showers were wonderful. Beds firm but comfortable. We spent a lot of time around the campfire. Conveniently located near Ellsworth but very close to Acadia. Property manager sent us the wrong listing so there was a bit of a panic as to where we were staying but other than that the stay was fantastic!

We have rented many vacation houses, and this one was one of the best we have rented. It was clean, comfortable and equipped with basic necessities. The house was really convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia (about 20-25 minute drive). The house also had an incredible view, and nice outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again!!!
